number11
How much money do you need to get the board to accept this? They even admit that they will focus on the facilities once the finances are in better shape, but we have $600,000 and no debt. Isn't that enough to afford some agility ladders or something? killakerr
It depends on what level they are already at.
Toolbox
Firstly, what is the current standard of your facilities. What league are you in? These are important facts we'll need in order to provide an answer not just based on guess work!
Nottingham Forest
The facilities are more than just agility ladders. Its the whole building of new facilities or the renovation of them. So really football pitches, swimming pools maybe, gyms. I can think of more but there would be loads.
number11
Everything is "basic" and we're recently promoted to Coca Cola League
fcunitedfan
While in the BSP, I suggested improving the training facilities but the board said I couldn't because it's not our ground (FC United use Bury's ground). When I got promoted, my staff suggested asking again. I thought it wouldn't hurt to try, and this time my board said they'd upgrade the training facilities... How could they do it now, when Bury still own the training facilities?
samdiatmh
^ by build their own training facilities? meanwhile for the OP, Man Utd's (and mine) costs 1.1m to upgrade (i think that's from the value of 19 to 20)
BurakUeda
Millwall in EPL: Average Training and Youth facilities, cost 1.2M to upgrade both of them to "Good". Next season, it took only 700K to upgrade both of them to "Top". Now I had a UAE tycoon takeover, and received an email that the board will use 14M(!!) to upgrade both facilities I wonder what the status will be?
