NorthernGooner
Keep it to one page, and make sure it is neatly set out and bullet pointed. It takes the average employer about 10 seconds to look at a CV so main thing is it has to look smart.
Ty
Did I miss anything? Haven't had a laptop for a while again (still haven't, using parents computer), so I still can't be on until I purchase one.

Gizmo7
England! Honestly love this England side and Hodgson, don't know why people are complaining. This is an England team that I can get behind and genuinely excited to watch. Can't wait for Tuesday, going to be nervous as hell, but bring it on. edgar555
Didn't see the game as I was on a train. Have seen the goals though, liked Welbecks finish. Think he's got great potential. Defending on both their goals was shambolic though.

Cleon
Generally yes. Your body clock justs get use to it really. Aye it does. When I was a baker used to work 3am until 4pm and even though really ****** hours my body got used to waking up at like 1.30am to get ready etc. Then I worked as chef in casino from 4pm until 4am and that was same. Used to get home for 5am, sleep until 8am then be up all day.
tomtuck01
Those sound like horrible hours. Strange really because when I'm holiday I sleep all the time, but over here the latest I've got up recently is half ten, and that as after I'd been out until 4ish.
Nottingham Forest
My body clock is messed up . I have one more night to go and I shall be going in early to finish at 6 so I can be up for 11.

Nottingham Forest
Nights have finished for this week . I'm back on them in a week after this next week though. There's also a vacancy for an assistant night manager at work. I don't want to go for it. But the money I could possibly get and the potential opportunities that may be come available if I prove I am capable could fast track me up the ladder quicker. Just have to think whether to go for it. What would you guys do?
SRL88
If you think you can handle all the added pressures of an Assistant Managers role then I would say go for it. Im guessing that you obviously dont mind doing nights sometimes and week-ends dont really bother you either. Obviously if you are in any sort of Managerial role then you would work them. You always mention that you want to move up the ladder so I dont see any reason why you shouldnt. At the end of the day, even if offered it you can always say no. Nottingham Forest
I think I could. It's whether I'd be able to sleep though. It could make or break me. They only have it advertised until tomorrow. I'm not in work tomorrow though. I've heard of one person who has gone for it. They've offered it to loads of people before and they've all turned it down. I've sort of been offered it before but didn't want nights. I'm not overly fussed if I get it or not. I'll go in Tuesday. See how I feel and if it's still up, I'll ask about it. If not, I'm sure there'll be some more vacancies soon enough. I've already been told by the grocery manager that if she gets another supervisor or her current one leaves, she wants me to become her supervisor . She's already asked if I can move onto her department as well. I currently have 2 departments where I have a realistic chance of a promotion.
SRL88
Well try and go down that route first. Try the supervisor thing first and see how you feel about it, and then you can move up if you chose to. Probably better than hotshotting to AM if you arent sure. Whilst your on NF...go on my career thread. On the last page there is a result which you might like . Then look in the End of Season winners & runner-up .
Nottingham Forest
It's only assistant night manager. I'd be 3rd in charge at night if the other 2 night managers were there. I'll see what happens. A supervisor vacancy(days) may not come up for the next 2 years. I am not waiting that long. Although a supervisor vacancy, if it came up on days would be much better. Meh, we didn't win and I don't get the result? 1-0?
SRL88
Meh, we didn't win and I don't get the result? 1-0? Post #2245 and #2276. The result is in the first....and the trophy winners in the second. Look for Nottingham Forest's name in #2276.

Cleon
Why? If you don't mind me asking? Just a good day My sister inlaw is a night shift manager for the same super market you work and its horrible they just take the **** with her. Even though she as the manager tag she isn't treated like a proper manager compared to the day shift. I think this is quite common in any work place were there is a night shift manager. They give you a fancy title so you feel important yet your just a normal member of staff who gets all the ****. There's a reason why so many people have turned it down trust me. Nottingham Forest
I shall bide my time then. I'm not going to bed today. Or I don't plan too until later on. Unless I crash of course.
Nottingham Forest
I have a splinter in my thumb and it hurts . On my FM save. I'm currently Alfreton and having looked at the records. I could go and break the record amount of points(105) by 15 and I could go and break the record amount of goals(103) by 23 if I continue in the form I'm currently in. Basic 4-4-2. I'd love to build some tactics. But I don't have the patience to sit and watch the games and tweak them accordingly. I do like 4-2-3-1 or similar variations. I'm not sure why though. I prefer to wheel and deal in FM . Edit: Not a splinter. Just a little cut.
