I actually won the 1st 3 games before a crash dump so that was abit heart breaking,

I guess for a newly promoted team we are doing ok,

3 points extra and we are midtable,

some big clubs around us in Palace, Doncaster and Fulham thats what worries me.

Could have been a worse start. Funny to see Fulham down there, chances are they are in massive debt so i doubt they'll cause you trouble, they might even have points deducted at some point if your lucky!

Nah they are loaded, they were predicted 1st place too so I don't know where they are going wrong

Good news on going pro.

Cheers, it has raised a few of my players wage demands in the process, saido berahino currently on 1.5k pw now wants 15k pw. My weekly budget is 15.5k pw. Im going to try and sell him soon as his contract runs out in summer. Which is a shame as hes our record scorer

A Good Month,

Made £900,000 from Fa Cup 3rd & 4th round,

£800,000 from the liverpool match.

This I think made the board give me the measly £6,000 to spend on Conor O'Connor A centre Back to improve our backline.

Marlon Pack is a Centre Midfielder who was available on a free.

Calvin Huckett is a Left Midfielder who my scouts give a 5* potential and he was on a non-contract at Tooton so I grabbed him on a free.

I also brought in 4 players on Loan to give us some strength in depth.

Both Coates and Keane were out injured for 7months and on pretty big wages for us so I released them early before the summer to fund my January spending.

Woodward left because I got Hackett who seems better!

I'm hoping these signings will strengthen us long-term.

Berahino's Leaving

Berahinoout_zps3f66af83.png

Club Legend Saido Berahino Will finally be leaving in the summer which will be the end of his 5th season at the club.

His record currently stands at 204 appearances 116 goals.

He is 64 games short of all-time record appearances for the club which he won't break as theres only 12 games left but he has the all time record amount of goals record.

His Replacement

Blair Holt, My scouts have been recommending him for sometime so I took him on a 1 month loan in January to see what he is like and He looks good. Hes young and hes scored 2 in 3 games.

Hes agreed a deal to join us in the summer and hopefully he can look to break Berahino's record he only needs another 115 goals :D

Great news to get training ground upgraded too again the cup run money being put to good use.

Great season overall for us after our promotion, need a big wage increase in the summer though to attract players to improve us further

Pre-season Review

Transfers In

In_zps810d8eee.png

Blair Holt

The man given the mission, fill the gap left by Saido Berahino, Need 20 goals from him this season

Thomas Cruise

Spent my whole transfer budget on this dominating Centre Back

Alex Pursehouse

Brings experience to an inexperienced backline. Right back has played this level consistenly

Paul White

Centre Midfielder on loan from chelsea last season ran games for us signed on a free at the end of his contract

Phillip Parry

Left Back who was on loan last season, Impressed so snapped up on free

Eddie Oshodi

Experienced Centre Back on big wages £2.4k a week hoping him and Cruise Plug the leaks

Paul Rees

Young Striker nowhere near 1st team level but has potential, Will be 5th choice

Levi Kenny

Centre Midfielder who I hope forms a partnership with White

Loans

Bryan Wiper - Goalkeeper -Age 20

Dean Hardwick - Midfielder (Right) - Age 22

Freddy Pacheco - Striker - Age 18

Alex Renshaw - Defender (Centre) - Age 21

Jesse Kewley Graham - Midfielder (Centre) - Age 28

Without Loans my squad would struggle,

Wiper Will be No1 keeper

Hardwick,Renshaw will offer depth

Pacheco will be expecting to form partnership with Holt

Graham will be challenging White and Kenny in centre Midfield

Expectations

The Board at FC United are sensible people, They are happy to just consilidate this season.

Other boards might have let Midtable last season go to their heads and be asking for more.

Review

Happy with my transfers and loans, Squad seems stronger again.

My main concern is will Holt score the consistenty of goals we have had from Berahino.

My personal aim is Midtable Upwards, Playoffs at a push.

Youth Upgrade

Blair Holt Watch

This season 9 games 5 goals is a good start include that with the 2 goals in 4 from his 1 month loan last season he's showing he can score at this level but so far he doesn't seem to do it with the same devestating effect as Berahino. APPS 13 GOALS 7

Review

Great that the Youth upgrade is back on and a good start for us I think

Transfer Review

Barrie Barker was allowed to leave after making just 1 appearance so far and Huckett allowed out on loan to get games.

Kyle Murray is a centre midfielder who I signed in august to join at the end of his contract.

I spent £6k on Mike Rayner whos a goalkeeper as I don't have a Number 1, I've been using loanee Wiper, whos done great but I want someone permanent.

Westley is a Left Midfielder, Denis Middleton is a Centre Midfielder, Ian Millington is a striker and Grant Doswell is a centre back. I posted i needed these 4 postions to strengthen the squad and I'm glad to have got them in on loan for 3 months each hopefully they can help us kick on abit.

Review

On the pitch we have beaten teams around us and moved up to 3rd,

lets go for this promotion now

Season 2021/22 Season Review

League Two

Champions, We were sat outside the playoffs until the new year then we seemed to go up a gear and powered on to the title. The 4 short term loans I got in the winter transfer window seemed to give us a few more options.

FA Cup

Knocked out 1st round replay vs Lincoln

Capital One Cup

Knocked out 1st round on pens vs Hartlepool

Johnstons Paint Trophy

Lost to Stockport in the Semi Final North

Key Players

Blair Holt

Alot of pressure to fill Berahino's Boots

51 games 31 goals 14 assists

Great season

Lance Bacon

Holt's Strike partner,

When Holt didn't score Bacon stepped up with 16 goals

Phillip Parry

Signed on a free after a successful loan last season

This left back was so consistent

Mike Rayner

Goalkeeper signed in January.

Played 11 in the run in and kept 6 clean sheets

Cruical signing at a cruical time.

Thomas Cruise

Our big money £20,000 summer signing.

Held the back 4 together while playing 49 games this season

Season Review

Expectations exceeded,

Great season for us, looking forward to next seasons challenge to stay up
