2. Rooney 10,104 m

3. O'Shea 10,096 m

ok. goal for rooney, assist for ole, yellows for ole and gaby, red for scholesy, affg for edwin - any views on who was affg for taddei's goal? can't really think of one player you could really pin it on so i've left it out for now.

mike dean clearly the new mike riley \O/

Anyone feel like linking a youtube clip for the 1st goal last night?

Whenever I look I usually struggle to find the most recent ones. Then we can look at who was AFFG.

Although with the poor standard of coverage in last nights game (the amount of times they lost track of the ball was absurd) I wouldn't count on getting a good angle on it.

according to sky at half time United logged a complaint about the second ball being on the pitch, and the balls being returned to Roma quickly and us slowly in general. Smacks of what Lille were upto in the last round tbh, but somehow I doubt we'll take it that far.

The players and the fans should really be up for it in the second leg, I guess that's the one good thing to come out of last night (as well as the away goal).

I always remember a third eye on soccer am when multiball first came in, and a guy being sent around to collect all the balls once the team started winning icon_biggrin.gif

goes down as a red i think, considering uefa's statement that he's still a yellow away from further suspension.

Isn't the deal with Scholes that the first yellow was his third of the tournament - meaning he would automatically be suspended for the next game anyway, then the second yellow which resulted in him receiving his fourth yellow card. Therefore, a fifth yellow card results in another suspension?

Pretty sure the suspensions work under the "odd number" principle when it comes to yellow cards? 3,7,9 etc etc.

Orange Grove in Fallowfield, it's a student only pub, so there's usually lots of non-united fans, but generally no trouble. The guy who was trying to start a fight didn't look like a student though tbf, as they don't ID until gone 9 usually.

Checked UEFAs site.

Scholes down as having 4 yellows in the tournament and rule 19.02 says that after 3 yellows it's a suspension and also suspended after subsequent odd numbered amount of bookings.

So looks like that's the reason. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

but it also specifies those bookings are to have been picked up in separate games. there's blatantly a section on the rules that clarifies this, if i cba i'll check tomorrow.

Ha, the Orange Grove, live just round the corner from there. I personally prefer the old man atmosphere of the Friendship Inn, especially on derby day when its full of blues.

Odd one this lads but see if you can help.

Does anyone remember beckham playing in a shirt spelt "Beckam"? Would be very early season, thought charity sheild but cant find anything so could be a friendly. Im thinking 1996 probably. Pretty sure it was a substiute appearance.

A picture would be great but the name of the match would do. Ta.

No, we got chubbed for the semi, but Mart said last night that there were going to be new applications accepted today? Can't see anything on the site.

I'm so ****ed off with this. We've applied for every away game in the last 4 seasons (missed one the season before so didn't get in the loyalty pot). We get treated exactly the same as someone who got a season ticket this year and has never applied for a single away. It stinks.

They were on sale all last week, the ballot has been done and some people have received their tickets (BBB has), I haven't yet.

Is Nick capable of geting up early enough next week for the semi??

Mart was insisting of being in Brium by 12 at the latest the other day but he's got fat chance of that occuring.
