aye.

I'd say what they've done for Kids and OAPs is absolutely brilliant. But what they've done to almost everybody else to pay for it is pretty damned bad.

by the way, i was talking to a mate about compulsory cup ticket schemes...

say you renew this year and obviously are forced to setup a direct debit. what is stopping anyone just cancelling the direct debit?

perhaps if you have a swipe card ST then they could cancel that electronically, but if you have an book, what are they going to do? come round your house and rip it up cos they can't charge your account?

they'll all be swipe cards as of next season.

no direct debit for cup games just credit and debit cards.

you screw up one payment they send a letter, you screw up 2 they have the right to take your ST from you.

penalties can f**k RIGHT off icon_frown.gif

as if we'd win a shootout against citeh's women's under-15 C team, let alone bloody Chelsea. was nervy enough tonight for a shootout in a youth cup final, let alone for a CL final.

nah, it's all good. can't say i'm thrilled about being forced to be in it, mind.

not 100% sure i'm going to renew yet. what that bloke says about bowing out at the top has a vague appeal - it's something i've been thinking about for a while. ultimately i probably will, i'd miss it too much, but so many aspects of the matchgoing experience and football in general are putting me off.

surely something can be done about it?

fellas on ri saying get the office of fair trading involved. what happens to someone who, like me has a pish poor credit rating and only has a electron/solo card?

utter utter disgrace.

it's weird how there are so many exhilarating, enjoyable on-pitch goings-on and possibilities atm and yet off the pitch the club are pretty much f**king me off with every single thing they're doing (ticket prices, moving the reserves, the atrocious website and probably loads more).

<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-title">quote:</div><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-content">Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has launched a furious tirade at Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo, 22, had claimed that Mourinho "does not know how to admit his own failures" after the Blues boss's controversial comments on penalties.

But Mourinho hit back: "If Ronaldo says it is a lie penalties were not given against United, then he is lying.

"He needs to see he cannot fight with facts. If he is a liar, he will never reach the level he wants to reach."

Last weekend Mourinho insisted that there was a new rule in football, where United could not concede a penalty and Chelsea could not win one.

He was referring to spot-kicks both Sheffield United and Middlesbrough felt they should have been given at Old Trafford and a penalty he thought Chelsea should have had at Newcastle.

"The whole world knows how he is," Ronaldo was reported to have told Portuguese television.

"Mourinho always has to say something when he is not happy."

United are three points ahead of Chelsea in the Premiership with four games left, with the two sides meeting at Stamford Bridge on 9 May.

They will also face each other in the FA Cup final and both clubs are in the semi-finals of the Champions League. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

Jose's taunts easier to shrug off than a Lauren tackle.

Petition signed...

In other news any word on whether JSP's knee injury is much worse than it was originally thought to be?

BBC's gossip column has him potentially being out for a year but I'm wary to take the word of something culled from a tabloid & physioroom.com still has him back for next Wednesday but if this is 'breaking news' they probably won't have updated overnight. Not great news if he is icon_frown.gif

Thing is because this report on our injuries was a week ago the timeline for him having seen a specialist about his knee fits unfortunately.

And while I was typing that this has just been uploaded to the web and does nothing to make JSP's fitness sound any better. Last three paragraphs of the article...

Now lets see how my coding of our current senior injuries is...

<pre class="ip-ubbcode-code-pre">

N Vidic 2nd May

R Ferdinand 5th May

G Neville 5th May

L Saha 5th May*

M Silvestre June 07

Park Ji-Sung ??? ??

</pre>

Watch that come out nowhere near right...

So basically no-one back for Everton, Vidic possibly back for Milan if not then Citeh, with Rio & GNev joining him hopefully. Saha is anyone's guess with Silv & JSP probably out for the season if these reports are correct.

Aces...

No point signing, it's all about the money. Those companies aren't getting freebies, they are corporate tickets. At more than what you are paying, too.

And how do you know people getting tickets through these aren't 'real fans'?

If Park is indeed going to see Steadman, that's never a good thing and usually means many months out. If true, Hargreaves has to go further down the list of summer priorities imo, as we already need a striker foremost and a new winger (which we needed anyway) potentially becomes more important.

Nah, I disagree. I'm one of Saha's staunchest supporters on here, yet he's clearly overly injury prone and, importantly, seems to take a lot of time to get up to speed again once he does return. Combine that with the fact that we really can't expect Ole to produce for another season, and we're looking at having Rooney and Smith as our only two viable frontmen. I'd place the neccessity of one on a par with getting a winger tbh.
