Or does it mean not manually searching players then asking for scout reports? Anyway, interested to do this challenge. Started the game, went on holiday.. then the first news I see was Wolves sacked their manager! And they're in 19th place.. whilst I was trying to get a screenshot.. I realised the date was 6th December instead.. Shamed as I think that would have been my preferred club. Decided to restart multiple times until I "get" Wolves again, as I feel that should've been the club I got anyway. Now, I have a save ready with Wolves. Haven't start the save now, though. Will come back to it when I can.

scarp
FULHAM - SEASON 2018-2019 Finished 12th which is decent considering the fact that the squad is pretty bad and needs complete re-haul. In winter we cancelled Schürrle's loan as he had 100k wages to free up some money to re-sign Babel. Later we sold Cairney to Southampton for 13mil (we do not utilize ACM) and Ayité to Guingamp for 1.2mil. This summer will be tough as most of the players are only on loan and we can only sign up to 8 players. Almost reached FA Cup semis but lost to Watford when we were in a slump. As I said before, we will lose Vietto, Fosu-Mensah, Nordtveit, Chambers and Rico as they were with us only on loan. Will probably have to get more players on loan before we can fully stabilize. Ryan Babel won POTY award this year with Mitrovič coming second and Seri coming third. Sessegnon had 13 assists this season which is great. I really want to hold on to him as he's our academy player. scarp
FULHAM - SEASON 2019-2020 Team was in need of a huge overhaul and we had to manage it with only 8 joining players per year. Also when other teams came calling for Mitrovič, he decided he wants to go. Rajkovič will be our number one goalkeeper as Rico went back to Sevilla. We also bought Vietto for 4mil from Atletico (he was in our team last season as well). Sander Berge joined us from Genk for 22mil and we expect him to quickly become one of the best players ever to wear our kit. We needed an attacker to replace Mitrovič and we signed Aboubakar from Porto for only 7mil. Kasim Adams came to strengthen our defense from Hoffenheim and we also signed three youngsters - Morilla, Saelemaekers and lately in winter Anderson. Finished one position below Europa League.. and I am glad we did, because there is no way we could play Europe next year. This season was a stabilizing one and I hope next year we can bring Europe to Craven Cottage. Also we will have to focus more on cups if we do not want end the challenge prematurely as this year we bombed from both of cups pretty fast. I hope Mitrovič really enjoyed "the better teammates" in Leicester. Ryan Babel won our POTY.. and second place goes to Matt O'Riley - 18 years old product of our academy who even kicked our 22mil signing (Berge) out of this year's best eleven. No idea why is Markovič there instead of Vietto since he spent most of the season on the bench and did not do anything.
scarp
FULHAM - SEASON 2020-2021 Apparently our last year's +15mil net spend ruined club's finances so I've been given spectacular amount of 8mil to do my transfers. Thanks to work permit regulations and small database I have to play with, it's been quite a challenge to sign a decent player. Thankfully I've got decent team from last year and only used summer transfer window to strenghten the depth of our team. None of these players come straight to the starting eleven with an exception of Mensah who unfortunately was not granted work permit so he had to spend first half of the season on loan in Lyon. We sold Markovič for 10mil and let some players to go on loan aswell. We finish on 8th place for second year in a row and I am not sure if we even are progressing. I would be pretty disappointed if it was not for... If it was not for Carabao Cup win! First trophy ever for Fulham! Got to admit we had quite an easy road to the finals but Man Utd (who finished 1st in league) was quite hard opponent in the end. We lost to Man City in FA Cup though meaning we will have to focus HARD on FA Cup next season. Luciano Vietto winning our POTY this year followed by Adams and Seri. If Mensah played the entire season for us he surely would be candidate too. _______________________________________________________________________ Win the FA Cup within 4 seasons Win the Premier League within 7 seasons Win a Premier League/FA Cup double within 8 seasons Win Three Premier League/FA Cup Doubles within 13 seasons Win the Premier League/FA Cup/Champions League Treble within 13 seasons Premier League (0/13) FA Cup (0/5) League Cup (1/4) - 2020/21 Community Shield (0/10) UEFA Champions League (0/2) UEFA Europa League (0/1) UEFA Super Cup (0/1) FIFA Club World Cup (0/2)
scarp
FULHAM - SEASON 2021-2022 This time we have got some decent money (42mil) so we could look for some opportunities to strenghten our squad. Since Leicester got relegated, there were few options we could go for and I decided to splash record fee for Wilfred Ndidi who will hopefully sort our DM position for years. With the leftover money I bought Peňaranda from Watford as alternative to Aboubakar + he also can play on wings. We did not really sell anyone but there were huge offers for Sessegnon (40mil from Real Madrid) and a lot of low offers for Rajkovic - both got frustrated when I did not let them go. There were more loans ongoing but I did not feel the need to show them on screenshots. This time 9th place.. I feel like it is my bad because I always play our strongest side in all the cup games and games in Europe. Gotta work on that next season. We bombed out of Carabao Cup very quick this time. But we managed to win the FA Cup! It was pretty tough road to the trophy, especially Berge scoring a winner against Arsenal in 90+4. Aboubakar destroyed Southampton with a hattrick in the finals. EUROPA LEAGUE Quite an easy road to Europa League group. We topped our group winning all the games. They had no chance. This one was closer but we got it. We already broke all the records there were in Europa League. I did not expect us to go through at first but when we lost 5-3 away I knew we have a chance! And we actually beat them 2:0 at home and for second time in the club's history we reach Europa League finals. We will play Chelsea. Duh. We should have won but in the end I am happy for all the players. We will come back stronger next year. Rajkovič set a new EL record with 14 clean sheets (previously 10) and we set a record for most goals scored - 65 (previously 41, Atletico). Funnily enough our POTY award goes to.. Seri, who's not even in the best 11! Aboubakar scored fantastic 32 goals in all competitions and finally the acquisition of Ndidi freed up Berge who finally started to perform. Pickersgill is our new academy product who became our first choice right winger - although he plays right midfielder and we accomodated the tactic to suit him when he play, he still rotates with Vietto. _______________________________________________________________________ Win the FA Cup within 4 seasons - DONE Win the Premier League within 7 seasons Win a Premier League/FA Cup double within 8 seasons Win Three Premier League/FA Cup Doubles within 13 seasons Win the Premier League/FA Cup/Champions League Treble within 13 seasons Premier League (0/13) FA Cup (1/5) - 2021/22 League Cup (1/4) - 2020/21 Community Shield (0/10) UEFA Champions League (0/2) UEFA Europa League (0/1) UEFA Super Cup (0/1) FIFA Club World Cup (0/2)
scarp
FULHAM - SEASON 2022-2023 I had to do something with Rajkovic crying all the time about leaving so I signed Godoy from Boca, problem is he would not get work permit so I sent him to Roma on loan for first half of the season and then recalled him in winter & finally sold Rajkovič (who joined Sporting - well enjoy buddy). We had to reinforce our defense so we spent quite a money on Malling and Horn. I also decide to pay 14.75mil for Busquets even though he will only rotate most of the times. Jiangsu paid Mensah's release clause so we signed Palaversa from City instead - absolute bargain. First of all - I hate Qatar and 2022 WC so much, the schedule was terrible. We did pretty well in league and I finally saw some real progress. If it was not for our April slump we would have been top four at the least. We did not win a single cup this time around. We had really terrible draws though. EUROPA LEAGUE Group was easy. **** Qatar. Is it gonna be like this in real life too? (only one leg) Pickersgill became our POTY followed by Horn and Malling. Sessegnon was switching between LB and LW whole season long. If Aboubakar did not get injured we would finish top four for sure, but after his injury he is just a shadow of his former self so I am worried I will need to invest to get another striker. _______________________________________________________________________ Win the FA Cup within 4 seasons - DONE Win the Premier League within 7 seasons Win a Premier League/FA Cup double within 8 seasons Win Three Premier League/FA Cup Doubles within 13 seasons Win the Premier League/FA Cup/Champions League Treble within 13 seasons Premier League (0/13) FA Cup (1/5) - 2021/22 League Cup (1/4) - 2020/21 Community Shield (0/10) UEFA Champions League (0/2) UEFA Europa League (0/1) UEFA Super Cup (0/1) FIFA Club World Cup (0/2)
scarp
FULHAM - SEASON 2023-2024 First of all I finally decided to sell Sessegnon as he did not want to renew his contract with us. Also I had to sell Ndidi for under his release clause, because Chelsea came sniffing and they were bidding just a little bit under his release clause so I had to act quick. Also we got rid of some not so important players. We signed Declan Rice from Man City who was transfer listed to replace Ndidi and also young scottish CB Kindlan from Celtic who shall create our centreback duo with Malling. Lookman was signed to provide cover for Morilla and later in winter we also bought Pedro Augusto from ATM who quickly became our number one attacker. We played pretty well this season and almost finished second. Man Utd were just too good for us though - meaning we have to win next year other wise the challenge is over (again). Liverpool was too good for us. We had quite lucky draw in FA Cup and we win the oldest football trophy for second time. EUROPA LEAGUE Group was easy. We did not concede a single goal in entire spring Europa League campaign and deservedly lifted the trophy! Horn won the POTY this time followed by Morilla and Busquets. Pedro Augusto played really well since his arrival in January too. _______________________________________________________________________ Win the FA Cup within 4 seasons - DONE Win the Premier League within 7 seasons Win a Premier League/FA Cup double within 8 seasons Win Three Premier League/FA Cup Doubles within 13 seasons Win the Premier League/FA Cup/Champions League Treble within 13 seasons Premier League (0/13) FA Cup (2/5) - 2021/22, 2023/24 League Cup (1/4) - 2020/21 Community Shield (0/10) UEFA Champions League (0/2)UEFA Europa League (1/1) - 2023/24 UEFA Super Cup (0/1) FIFA Club World Cup (0/2)
scarp
FULHAM - SEASON 2024-2025 We said goodbyes to our long time players - Aboubakar who scored over 80 goals for us and Rodák who was our 2nd choice keeper for 6 years. Suraka would never get a chance to play for us so 20mil was quite a surprise. Just during christmas we also let Vietto go. On the other hand we signed van de Beek from Ajax to strenghten our midfield and Tymon and Vidackovic to provide more depth to our defense. Overall we stayed 3millions in plus. We lost both Super Cups to Man Utd WE FINALLY DID IT! This season was different to others as it was way more even than before. Finally in 36th round we secured a point at Stamford Bridge and the celebrations could start! Arsenal played way better than they played in league games. We beat Man Utd in Wembley and for first time ever celebrate double! We beat Tottenham and Arsenal on the way so I am very happy. CHAMPIONS LEAGUE Group was tougher than in EL but mostly because we focused more on league fixtures. Against FC Porto and AS Monaco we beat them at home first and then hold the result away. Against Liverpool they destroyed us at Craven Cottage and gave us no chance in the rematch. Morilla wins POTY after getting 23+8, followed by Horn (0+7) and Gravesen (9+18). Burnett scored 34 goals after sloppy start where we just could not score any goals in first two months of the season. _______________________________________________________________________ Win the FA Cup within 4 seasons - DONEWin the Premier League within 7 seasons - DONEWin a Premier League/FA Cup double within 8 seasons - DONE Win Three Premier League/FA Cup Doubles within 13 seasons Win the Premier League/FA Cup/Champions League Treble within 13 seasons Premier League (1/13) - 2024/25 FA Cup (3/5) - 2021/22, 2023/24, 2024/25 League Cup (1/4) - 2020/21 Community Shield (0/10) UEFA Champions League (0/2)UEFA Europa League (1/1) - 2023/24 UEFA Super Cup (0/1) FIFA Club World Cup (0/2)

scarp
FULHAM - SEASON 2025-2026 We did not really sell anyone important this offseason. On the other hand we bought Lenglet to provide cover for our starting CBs, Smith Rowe who can play both LW and RW and Rosa Santos who may become our new starting goalkeeper. In winter we also bought transfer-listed Kristoffer Ajer - I already wanted him before his Atletico spell, but he was in Chelsea. Our new record regarding points! But Man Utd was just a little bit better than us, they beat us twice so I guess they deserve the title. Very disappointing. CHAMPIONS LEAGUE Atletico was better but we were focusing on our league run mostly. Same as last year - Liverpool destroyed us in semis even though in league we beat them twice. I really hate Liverpool. Pelayo Morilla wins our POTY (18+13) followed by Jannes Horn (1+11) and Cody Drameh (2+8). Morilla also won English Footballer Of The Year and Player's Young Player, Burnett wins Top Goalscorer Award and Rosa Santos claims Golden Glove. Gravesen got injured with ligaments and spent whole season on medical. I really hope he can get back. _______________________________________________________________________ Win the FA Cup within 4 seasons - DONEWin the Premier League within 7 seasons - DONEWin a Premier League/FA Cup double within 8 seasons - DONE Win Three Premier League/FA Cup Doubles within 13 seasons Win the Premier League/FA Cup/Champions League Treble within 13 seasons Premier League (1/13) - 2024/25 FA Cup (3/5) - 2021/22, 2023/24, 2024/25 League Cup (1/4) - 2020/21 Community Shield (0/10) UEFA Champions League (0/2)UEFA Europa League (1/1) - 2023/24 UEFA Super Cup (0/1) FIFA Club World Cup (0/2)
Chevie
Season 2023/24 Review Transfers: This summer I moved on more first team players than I brought into the club which gave me the opportunity to promote two youth academy products into the first team squad: Losing Chiesa to a release clause he refused to negotiate a new contract to remove was sickening but I'm glad Sancho was available to replace him. Competitions: I'm not sure why it isn't listed on this page but we also won the Club World Cup. Results: Progress:

NoNonsenseFM
2018/19 Season Smashed through the season and we easily survived We also had a good run in all the cup we entered. Losing in the Semi Final of the Carabao Cup The Quarters of the FA Cup And now for the best one, we ended as runners-up in the Europa league Look at that semi final result, a 6-1 away defeat followed by a 9-2 home win against Monaco Unfortunately we lost the final to AC Milan Note the signing above, I only signed 6 players. NoNonsenseFM
2020/21 Season Transfers 9 in but Ballard went into the youth team. Some good business and the January signings were quality. Vardy and Maguire added some great experience. Premier League 6th place is incredible, especially as at Xmas we sat in 13th. 1 defeat in our final 12 games helped and we scraped Europa league qualification for next season FA Cup Dreadful but an unlucky draw League Cup Once again knocked out by a bigger team Champions League Epic! We absolutely smashed the group stage and got through the last 16 but were eventually knocked out by PSG A great season. The issue I have no is according the the FFP we are failing on wages. I can't really cut it down anymore. We are £19m over!!! Not sure what's gonna happen Edited August 17, 2019 by NoNonsenseFM

NoNonsenseFM
2021/22 Season Transfers A lot of business. I reached the 11 players in limit. Only 8 played. Miah and Sylwestrzak spent the season in the U23s Palaversa was signed on loaned but for some reason didn't have a work permit so was sent straight back. Premier League A fantastic 6th place. A 2nd successive season but this one was really hard work. At one point (mid-December time) we were sat in 11th and I was 3rd in the sack-race. We turned it around really well and we have another season in the Europa League coming up FA Cup So I failed one of the challenges in this save and didn't win the FA Cup within 4 seasons. Frustrating and we went out to a 92nd minute goal against Arsenal League Cup A good run but like the FA Cup we were dumped out by Arsenal Europa League Another good campaign, we smashed everyone in the groups but were knocked out in the last 16 by Porto
jeaku14
Just wanted to check something - I've started with Huddersfield and noticed they already have 11 transfers done in the first season. jeaku14
Huddersfield - Season 18/19 Review Young Alex Ferguson takes over on the 6th of November, with Huddersfield in 19th place (sorry forgot to take a screenshot on the exact date, league table is after our first game, a 1-0 win over Southampton from memory). Transfers Didn't get a response to my question re: permanent transfers. so I decided to risk it in the end - only signed 2 players on loan (Andreas Pereira and Ben Woodburn). Final League Table Survived by the skin of our teeth! And I'm happy we did, got a decent skeleton of a squad here. Feeling confident I can build on this for next season... jeaku14
19/20 Pre-Season Was handed a whopping 60m transfer budget and 300k wage budget increase, honestly was not expecting that much! I felt that while the back four and the CM department is surprisingly strong, I basically had to strengthen EVERY other position to finish in the top half. My absolute priorities were the goalkeeper, a forward (or two), and wingers. It was a busy window, but I came out of it feeling pretty good, with one transfer still available should it be needed in January GK - David Raya, hoping he will hold the GK position for the next decade. Wingers - Erik Lamela, Ivan Cavaleiro, and Leonardo Spinazzola. VERY happy with these options, shocked that I could attract all of them tbh. Midfielders - Pelaylo Morilla. Came up in my scout reports, was only willing to come on a 'First Team' based contract, so I'm hoping I can keep him happy in terms of game time. Forwards - Florin Andone and Aleksandar Mitrovic. Andone had a shocking season for Brighton, only getting 3 goals in 20+ starts (of course getting one against us ). But his stats are incredible and scouts were keen. Mitro gives the opposite option, being a big target man. I utilised Depoitre as a target man often last season, he slots in as a better option basically. Obviously neither are world-class strikers, but I'm hoping one of them, or both, will hit decent numbers until we can attract a real quality option up front. Woodburn and Pereira stay on loan for another season as rotation options, while I added Passlack too, as competition for Tommy Smith's RB position. Season Aims. Consolidation. I want to finish 8-10th in the league. I will be playing my strongest teams in the cups and hope I can have a decent run. First XI Of course this will likely change over the season, but I picture it something like this:
dothestrand
I've just started this challenge....and my team was Norwich (and I'm very happy about that!) Looks like Watford, Burnley, Villa and Sheff Utd (already quite adrift) are our relegation rivals. Norwich have a decent squad, and some young talent obviously. Norwich had made eight signings in the Summer transfer window, so I won't sign more than three additional players - however I'll give the current squad a chance first. EDIT: Ah, didn't post the table when I took over, but hopefully you can see in the schedule that I did beat Villa to leapfrog them Edited August 30, 2019 by dothestrand
dothestrand
So the season is over and we finished 16th, 7pts clear of the drop. Palace, Villa and Sheff Utd were relegated, although Wolves were strangely in the dogfight too. I allowed myself three signings in January, all of whom were first team upgrades. Boubacar Kamara (Marseille) improved the CB positions, whilst Ludovic Blas (Guincamp) provided more quality in CM. Josh Sergent came in from Werder Bremen as we were short up top when Pukki got injured. All are under 21 too and cost around 10m each. We did OK in the FA Cup, beating West Brom, QPR and Sunderland, before losing to Liverpool. Hopefully we can get luckier draws going forward and try to pick up this trophy soon. With 11 signings and only 8 in the first team to come, there are definite areas to upgrade - a better GK, another CB would be nice, plus an option or two in CM, but we're also short of quality out wide. We've a few guys to ship out too ideally. But going forward, we'll build around Lewis/Aarons, Kamara, Blas, Cantwell, Buendia, Sargent and Idah. We have some names in mind for new signings and 45m in the bank. We might be able to add another 15-20m to that with outgoings but I think we'll be looking at younger players with high potential rather than the finished articles.
dothestrand
The 2019 Summer was productive and we were able to bring in additional quality and ship out some of the Championship level players we inherited. Overall net spend was 24m but that came with some big wages. The biggest coup was probably Michael Keane, who's now our captain. Letica, our new Croatian GK is 22 and has jumping reach/aerial reach of 19(!) so he'll command the box well. Panzo returned to English football from Monaco and is a young 4th choice CB. Murgia is a young BBM who'll cover every blade of grass on the pitch (he's been great in Italian saves I've done), and Gravenberch came in at a bargain price from Ajax. We went a bit overboard with attacking midfield options - Ontiveros is an exciting Spanish winger who can play both sides, while Pjaca came in with a plus 90 recommendation - let's hope his low mentals are outweighed by his great technical skills. Morilla's game time should be limited but he'll develop nicely. Bobby Copping from Bury won't be with the first team, he's been loaned out already. So that's eight first team signings and one youth team player signed. So no signings in January - let's hope the gamble works. First game was home to Arsenal, which we won 1-0 with Ontiveros sneaking in at the back post to put a cross from the left past Leno. Hopefully we can finish reasonably clear of the drop zone and make good progress in the FA Cup.
dothestrand
2019-2020 update. We finished 9th in the Premier League and reached the SF of the FA Cup, losing out to Man Utd. Can we go two better in the next two seasons? Main priorities for the transfer window are to beef up the midfield and forward options. Pukki is going to move on and Sargent unfortunately isn't prolific enough. We also have a number of the German midfielders Norwich started with who aren't good enough. I wasn't that bothered about improving the defence, but we were able to sign Harry Maguire for 11.75m from Man Utd! He and Keane together should be tasty, plus our young full backs. I might go in for Chambers too. We should be looking for top 6-7 next season if we get our signings right.

JaytheGreat
@Chevie Simply an incredible season! Invincibles and a 100 point season as well, also that might be the best team I've ever seen. @AlikNevill welcome to the challenge!
Chevie
@JaytheGreat I’m so happy with the squad I’ve managed to put together here. That’s what drew me back to this save despite enjoying the new game. I’ve got a few players aged 30 and over now (Dias, Tierney, Cook, Neves and Martial) so I think I’m going to have a bit of a rebuild this summer. I’ve never been so far into a career so I’m going into new territory with what will be a team of regens for the majority!

Mandy42
So I need a ruling on my current challenge attempt save with Leicester City. I am aware when it comes to transfers I cannot do any business with Nottingham Forest, which is fine, however I might have inadvertently broken the 11 incoming player transfer rule. There are 15 names on that list, 3 of them are loans, so the total permanent signings for this season is 12 (which is a breech of the rule). However 10 of those permanent signings were made before I took over the club. Basically is the rule that I the manager cannot make more than 11 signings in a season? Or is it the club? JaytheGreat
@Mandy42 The rule refers to you the manager, you have no control over signings that were made before you took over.
