Training Schedules

With there been so many different options and schedules for training I wondered what strategy is everyone taking up.  I know its upto the manager to decide but theres so many options.

I have a general tactical control possession training which I use for each week based upon the pre-set but modified in places.  I have added some match preparation in for attacking and defending along with set pieces so that it can influence the next match I am playing and tweak this to suit the stats of whether the opposition concedes scores for free kicks corners etc...

I use this every week and teak it to suit even though my assistant recommends another strategy.  Should I be swapping training schedules each week or basically sticking to one and tweaking it.
