XaW Posted June 30, 2020 Share Posted June 30, 2020 So I had a situation now that I think could have been improved with a bit more finesse. I had my reserves manager just sign a new contract due to his running out soon and everything is well. Then, shortly after my assistant got poached by another team and I think the reserves manager who just signed a new contract would be a nice replacement. However, I'm not able to suggest a new contract for him since "he has just signed a new contract". Now, I understand why this is, but I would like to offer him a new role due to it just becoming available. And since the assistant manager being a key role, I can't really afford to wait very long for him to accept talks for another contract. So, my suggestion is; If a player have recently signed a new contract and I offer him another, I should be able to ask him to accept a promotion and potentially better terms as well. 1 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
