Again, a save you expect any decent keeper to make.

totally, I'd expect any professional goalie to save that,Savage is going on like it's Gordon Banks v Pele all over again

Thought one of the Welsh lads would have started this by now but guess they're not as hyped this time around? ;)

All too busy being outraged by the BBC’s non-Welsh bias.

Wales is one of those sides that would've never made it into a 16 team tournament.

Idk, this current generation has more talent than they've ever had, as far as I remember. It'd be tougher to get in, but we've seen far worse teams getting into the 16 team format. For example Latvia in 2004.

They were way better in 2016 and that rating kept them high in the seeding for these qualifiers.

Fun fact is that 4 teams from the same group qualified.

Croatia, Wales, Slovakia and Hungary. With this game's hosts, Azerbaijan, being 5th.

Shaqiri has never been the same since Mancini sent him to that mountain healer.

Player shouldn’t have to go down for it to be afoul.

And then we wonder why players dive so much.

Neymar would've fell and done a double roll, it would've been a pen.

That's a penalty surely.

If he goes down it would be. He gets punished for staying on his feet - that's exactly why players dive and go down easily.

Don’t know how VAR can watch someone’s shirt be literally yanked away and not give a pen. Player shouldn’t have to go down for it to be afoul.

He's stayed on his feet and laid off a decent pass which the other fella should have put in for 1-0.  If the ref sees that and plays advantage it's not a clear and obvious error.

The less we see of VAR in this tournament the better imo.

Midfield 3 not working, Morrell not offering anything Ampadu doesn't when we're not capable of getting on the ball. Might have to sacrifice Moore and match them up with a back 5 to stop these crosses and simple passes behind our midfield.

It wasn't a great pass, possibly because the defender was yanking his shirt at the time. It should still be a pen, VAR absolutely should be used for stuff like that which you can forgive the ref for not seeing.

Angle referee is at, he can’t see the shirt being pulled. It’s side on so all he can see is Embolo right side.

Embolo has looked ok once the ball reaches him, no-one else on the Swiss team looks like taking it past someone. I'm a bit fed up of seeing the Swiss back 3 passing between each other.
