Popular Post michaeltmurrayuk Posted November 5, 2021 Popular Post Share Posted November 5, 2021 The FM22 Light Skin is currently progressing along with it due after the full release (when exactly will depend on changes made by the full release, and if any issues come up) and before any one asks outside of the colour changes and some minor tweaks it will be staying as close to the default skin as possible, so won't be featuring the instant result button, stadium pictures or faces or role ratings on the tactics screen, though like the Base Skin it will support background images. WIP Screenshots However in the mean time to speed things I've attached an Alpha version for people to test over the weekend. NOTE: This is purely for testing so please don't upload it anywhere else. As it is an fmf file you just need to drop it into your skins folder, then load up the game and it should show as 'Light Alpha Test' in the dropdown menu, if it isn't showing turn off the skin cache and reload your existing skin. DOWNLOAD FILE BELOW: Known Issues; - Training, Competitions, Scouting and Transfer related screens haven't been checked over yet. - Nor has the processing panel. - Whilst new screens for Germany and the Transfer Deadline Day haven't been checked either yet. Main Things to Check; - Main things that need checking are the various news items, especially the more obscure ones. - New screens or features, I've done the Data Hub but may not be aware of everything that has changed. Also if you are still using FM21 you can help by logging any issues with that version as the same issues most likely will apply (and I'll backport what I can). Poll Finally I've added a poll, the default version will most likely keep the Magenta and Purple colours from the FM22 Branding, but I'll try and release some alternative colour schemes afterwards so you can use the poll to indicate which option you'd prefer or suggest your own scheme below. 19 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Alexpuk2002 Posted November 9, 2021 Share Posted November 9, 2021 The FM21 light skin you did pretty much works with most of the white text being replaced with darker text. It seems to be so far from what I have seen the newer panels that need fixing such as Transfer Deadline Day and a few obscure news items that don't display too often. When I try to change the .fmf file (to add background opacity for example) with notepad or visual studio code, the file becomes unusable for FM. It does not show up anymore in the dropdown in FM. I just checked, and the file extension is still the same. I can see that the file becomes 2 times as big when I save it. Any option on how I can make changes and still keep it working for FM? The white text on dark background is a real problem for some people (this common with dyslexia) and without people like you I would probably be unable to play the game for more than about 5mins at a time. RogerC Posted November 15, 2021 Share Posted November 15, 2021 (edited) Some bugs found, the staff overview screen. You can see the logo is broken (not critical). In the coaching column, one side of the parenthesys is black and the other is white (2/3 coaches line). The staff search pop up: The different sections are blacked out but when you select something from the drop down it is visible again. Hope this helps, thanks for the great work!
