Dissepointed
I have two Samsung Oddysey G9 monitors, they are 49 inch and is run as one 5120x1440 and the other is run as dual monitors in 2 x 2560x1440. My main screen is the one run as 49 inch 5120x1440, every game, internet browser is open on this one as it is set as my main screen. However, FM is opening on the other screen and the it does not fit the screen resolution and I cant change the resolution in the meny and the window mode is greyed out. Why does not FM open on my main monitor as every other game I have ever played do? How can I change this?
thomas166
Without knowing a great deal on the subject, my guess would be FM does not support a resolution that wide?
Dissepointed
It does actually, but the interface is just ruined. The resolution ingame does not match the one on the screen even it say so. But the game wont open in 2K either so I guess there is some techniqual issues in the game. I had to change to 1080 resolution, turn on the window mode. But then the interface is not customizable enough. This game is really made to be played on a laptop I guess Not a problem for me, as I usually play on a laptop. But a AAA grand strategy game made in 2021 should really not have this issues
Dissepointed
The game is really not tested. When I go in the meny to change the text size etc, the pop up meny does not fit the screen so I can not confirm the changes. Thats laughable actually, well I have to add this to the wish list for the next edition I guess.
XaW
Please report these issues in the UI part of the bug tracker. I'm certain SI would love to get feedback from less common resolutions and sizes.
Justin Tomlinson
Hmm… I really need to step up from my 15” laptop screen!
