Andros Posted October 3, 2022 Share Posted October 3, 2022 The instant result button can be a great way to get through games quickly, however it is not good for playing people out of their natural position (like if you want to train people in a new position） and for youth (the assistant manager will always sub out the youth starter for someone on the bench, often very early on in the game, and will never sub in youth). phnompenhandy Posted October 3, 2022 Share Posted October 3, 2022 I only use it for meaningless matches, mainly because the AI assman makes the most ridiculous substitutions, like changing a striker for a fullback. Also, the fact that you can't make in-game tactical tweaks ought to mean the IR results are on average inferior to your played matches. If the opposite is happening, and your IR results are vastly better, does that not imply that your tactics and human choices are poor? There are probably lessons to be learned!
