DazRTaylor
End of Season Review Season 2026/27 Kings Langley Season Summary A fabulous season, where we stormed to the league title and promotion as well as a decent cup run. I couldn't really ask for more. Season Details League Table - With promotion secured with four games remaining and the title wrapped up with three, we were always in control and dominated the division. To win the league by xx points is very pleasing. League Fixtures 1 & 2 - We started strongly and never really looked back, having regular long unbetean runs. F. A. Cup - We were excellent in getting to the fourth round, including getting revenge on second tier outfit Burnley, before Premier League club Leeds United proved to be too strong. Carabao Cup - A narrow home defeat to Championship side Burnley put paid to any chance of a cup run this year, with the defeat occuring in the second round. Papa John's Trophy - I fielded the backup players throughout the competition and as a result, we went out at the group stage as we could only finish third. Friendlies - With just the one defeat, we prepared for the new campaign well. Squad - We have such a good squad, I feel we can cope at a higher level relatively comfortably. Squad Dynamics - Everyone loves everyone else. Transfers In 1 & 2 - I am yet to spend a penny on transfer fees, if you exclude loans. Some cracking free additions this season. Transfers Out 1, 2 & 3 - Over £3m was raised in player sales as the need to balance the books continued. Youth Candidates - It was yet another poor intake with South African centre back Tshepo Meyiwa YP27C3 supposedly the pick of the bunch. Finances - We made a healthy profit, down to player sales and despite spending money improving our facilities. Key Players Tom Dele-Bashiru - The Nigerian midfielder enjoyed another excellent season. Joe Rothwell - My player of the year, the midfielder had a fabulous campaign. Bali Mumba - One of the most versatile players I have ever seen, he can comfortably play in nine different positions after all, he was good wherever he was deployed. Miguel Azeez - Signing on a free transfer in November, the central midfielder took time to find his feet but when he did, he was exceptional. Eros Benedettini - I took a punt on this young Italian striker, signed on loan from Spezia in Serie A in his homeland and he repaid my faith by scoring 27 goals in 39 appearances. Next Season I don't think a playoff spot is unrealistic. Faramir
2026-2027 Season 1st season League 1 A strong middle of the season stretch allowed us to survive some end of the season woes as we hung on to win League 1. The biggest key to our moving up to the Championship was the pre-season signing on free of forward Louie Barry (after Aston Villa let him go and we beat out several clubs to attract him). Barry had 33 goals, 6 assists and 9 POM while averaging 7.56 in earning League 1 Player of the Year honors. Other key contributors were Caleb Chukwuemeka (18 goals, 6 assists, 7 POM, 7.39) and Ben Simpson (14 goals, 7 assists, 4 POM, 7.32) up front. Our midfield saw Daniel Redfearn, now established as a New Zealand International (2 goals, 8 assists, 1 POM, 7.18) joined by 18 year old Joseph Tchami (arrived from Liverpool after youth release, 2 goals, 3 assists, 2 POM, 7.06) , on loan Ben Doak (also from Liverpool, 1 goal, 11 assists, 1 POM, 7.04), Alexander Dolo (5 goals, 6 asssists, 6.92) and an occasionally resurgent Noam Emeran (6 assists, 6.99). Defensively, we suffered badly towards the end of the year as our main keeper Lewis Thomas became very inconsistent and his efforts were mirrored by our very young backline of Martin Rae (on loan from Man United as our rightback), Daniel Maher, Skipper Scott Holding and Stefan Parkes. We were plagued by injuries in the backline and Stephen Jones missed most of the season after tearing his anterior cruciate. Our pattern in the final two months was to go a goal down, often on either a simple defensive miscue or fluke play and then have to fight back to earn a draw. No idea where we play our home matches next season as the new stadium remains in the pure planning stages and our temporary home of Chesterfield's Technique Stadium likely doesn't meet Championship level standards.

wheatoplays
Does anyone else find it easy to haggle upwards when a club makes a transfer offer for a player? Someone just offered me £60,000 for a player, and I was able to haggle them up to £100,000 upfront with a potential extra £45,000 and 30% of the players next sale value.

wheatoplays
Help?!? I got a new chairman about an ingame month ago, now I just got an inbox message saying he's retiring from hands-on roles in football and will only pursue part-time roles going forward... Does that mean he's going to sell the club?? I'm very confused by this message.

HighFlyingDwarf
Lewes F.C. - Season 2028/29 National League Table Transfers Dumped out in the first round of the playoffs. Frustrating. But we're getting closer to getting to League Football. FA Cup We reached the FA Cup Third Round again and had a big match against Tottenham where we were eliminated 0-2 at home. FA Trophy Boreham Wood chucked us out in the Fourth Round after a pretty pathetic display, 0-1. Transfer of the Season Sula Kigonya - A loan signing from Birmingham who anchored the centre midfield and played nearly every game for us this season. Solid. Player of the Season Kellan Hickinson - Our attacking midfield maestro. 7.24 avg with 10 goals. HighFlyingDwarf
Lewes F.C. - Season 2029/30 A season where all of our christmasses came at once. National League Table Transfers The finish to this season was unbelievable. After losing to Gillingham at the beginning of April, it looked like our chances were over, but going unbeaten until the end of the season kept the dream alive. In the end, a win against Hartlepool on the 22nd of April put us on the brink, and a draw against Stevenage when a win would have done it for us took the battle to the final day. On the final day of the season we needed a win to guarantee the title. Away at Fylde, our standout signing Luis Grimes secured a brace to take us to a 2-1 victory, and league football for the first time! FA Cup We reached the FA Cup Fourth Round in an incredible run with a favorable draw (Dartford away in the Third Round) before being beaten handily by Livepool 0-5 at home. FA Trophy After the astonishing finish to the league season, we played Hartlepool again at Wembley in the FA Trophy final and won in our last shot at the non league double with a 2-0 win, courtesy of Messrs Grimes and Arnold. Transfer of the Season Luis Grimes - See the player of the season report for more information. Player of the Season Luis Grimes and Kellan Hickinson - Impossible to separate these two. Hickinson was the better over the course of the season, but Grimes played an astonishing 57 games as a brand new signing. They combined for 39 goals at ST and AMC respectively. wheatoplays
Santa Claus St. Ives Town National League 2024/25 League - Season Review - Such a surprising season, winning the league with great ease. We only lost one match, and destroyed all previous league records. One again I won manager of the season, and Peacock won player of the season. FA Cup - Fixtures - We massively over-achieved in the FA Cup this season, reaching the 4th round. In the 3rd round, we managed to hold Premier League side Crystal Palace to a draw, the in the replay we beat them on penalties. Forget parking the bus. We parked about 10 buses during those two matches! We attempted the same away at Wolves, but we were totally outclassed and deservedly beaten. FA Trophy - Fixtures - We won it, making up for the disappointing final the previous season. With us doing so well in the league, I kind of expected us to win. Hopefully that's the last time we have to enter the competition, with League 2 football looming next season. Transfers - Another busy season for transfers, as we filled in the deadwood and strengthened the squad considerably. We made a record sale, as Arbroath brought Lachlan Brook off us for £105K! Finances - Thanks to the league win, the FA Cup run, the FA Trophy win, and the sale of Lachlan Brook we have over £500K in the bank. Hopefully sinking into the red will be a thing of the past for this club. Key Players Best 11 Tom Peacock - Another phenomenal season for this amazing young striker. Top scorer of the club, and in the league. He just keeps going from strength to strength, and I hope I can keep him for years to come. Jonty Hibbs - Snapped him up from Glousester City (the same club Peacock came from) at the end of the previous season, and he performed brilliantly on the wing. Guychel Kitenge - This Belgian under 19's player was another youngster who played brilliantly on the wing. He scored the second most goals for the team this season, and got a lot of assists as well. Maldini Kacurri - Very solid young defender, who broke down many opposition attacks. Joe Rose - Was great in goal, managing 17 clean sheets in the league this season. Next Season - After back-to-back promotions up to League 2, I think we'll struggle against teams much better than ours. We'll hopefully stay up, then build our way to a promotion the season after. Scab
Warrington Rylands 2026/27 Season Review League Table Squad Transfers Finances Up we go! Comfortable, in the end. Hit a bit of a snag in March before which we had a mere 2 losses in the league, but nothing so bad our points lead couldn't cushion it. Time to turn professional! Ended up letting Smith go *cough*some Promises are buggy*cough* and reworked our tactics into a low block 4231 with two DMs and a AML-AMC-AMR line ready to make runs on the counter and feed a more mobile center forward. It worked a treat, as evident from the results, and reinvigorated Dolan who's back as our top goal scorer. After years of trying, the board finally managed to find a parent club in Salford City. They're only one league above us so I'm guessing this will be cancelled following our promotion, but at least it got me Kargbo and McNulty in on loan for some squad depth. Salford has a couple of considerably better players loan-listed that I was hoping to approach for next season, but oh well. Aim for next season: Survive League Two. You will be able to sign players on professional contracts which expands the scope of whom you can sign (within reason). Looking at my L2 pre-season I released more or less my entire first team squad after their contracts expired from the NL season, and loaned out another my previous top scorer.
DazRTaylor
End of Season Review Season 2027/28 Kings Langley Season Summary It was a nervy campaign where we blew automatic promotion chances, though went up via the playoffs as well as another domestic cup win. Season Details League Table - We have to be pleased with a third place finish, though I am left wondering of what might have been. League Fixtures 1 & 2 - We were well set before a run of five straight defeats in February and March gave us too much to do for an automatic promotion place. Promotion Playoffs - After crushing Charlton Athletic over two legs, we met Huddersfield Town in the final. After a goalless 120 minutes, it went to penalties where we held our nerve, winning 7-6. F. A. Cup - It was a decent cup run, all the way to the fourth round stage, just like last season, before we lost at home to Premier League side Brentford, who outclassed us. Carabao Cup - A disappointing performance away to fourth tier side Bristol Rovers saw the club crash out of the competition at the second round stage for the second successive season. Papa John's Trophy - By easily winning all three group games, we won the group with ease and qualified for the knockout stages, where we won every game, without conceding and lifted the trophy. Friendlies - With just one defeat, it was a good pre season campaign. Squad - We have a fine squad though not good enough to go up again just yet. Squad Dynamics - It is rather nice. Transfers In 1 & 2 - I finally spent money, over £2m, as I significantly strengthened the squad and brought in some quality youngsters. Transfers Out 1, 2 & 3 - Over £2m was raised in player sales along with a plethora of young players goping out on loan. Youth Candidates - Bosnian striker Matt Underwood YP28J17 is the best prospect out of a mediocre intake. Finances - As we further improved facilities, we lost money, though we have interest in our players so I think some will need to be sold to balance the books. Key Players Tom Dele-Bashiru - The Nigerian midfielder continues to play way above his level. Miguel Azeez - The central midfielder had a quality campaign and was one of our best players. Mark Hirst-O'Leary - The club record signing, who I deploy in the anchor man role, has been sensational since I recalled him from his loan spell at Bristol Rovers in January. Ollie Berry - Our best loan signing, the central defender was an absolute rock after signing from Arsenal for the season. Noah Weibel - In his second season with us on loan from Young Boys in his home country of Switzerland, the winger enjoyed a fine campaign. Next Season I feel we are good enough for a mid table finish next season, though we do need some quality additions. DazRTaylor
End of Season Review Season 2028/29 Kings Langley Season Summary A unbelieveable season where consistency secured the club promotion to the top flight. A good cup run was the icing on the cake. Season Details League Table - But for defeat on the final day, we could have gone up as champions. League Fixtures 1 & 2 - Consistency was the key, as we picked up points even when we played badly. A fifteen game unbeaten run in the new year, despite nine of them being draws, proved to be crucial. F. A. Cup - For the third year in a row, we went out at the fourth round stage. Fellow promotion hopefuls Norwich City beat us rather convincingly at home, in a replay, denying us a fifth round trip to Manchester City.; Carabao Cup - Our best major cup run to date as we made it all the way through to the quarter final before Chelsea proved to be far too strong and turned us over on our own patch. Friendlies - With just the one defeat, it was another cracking pre season campaign. Squad - We need significant strengthening to be able to survive in the Premier League. Squad Dynamics - It is still rather good, isn't it? Transfers In 1 & 2 - I spent over £5m, including our first ever seven figure transfer fees paid, as the overall standard of the squad improved significantly. Transfers Out 1, 2 & 3 - Just under £12m was raised in player sales as cash was raised to improve the quality of the squad. Youth Candidates - It was our best intake to date, with Welsh central midfielder Morgan Griffiths YP29A18 the best among a fairly strong group. Finances - Thanks to player sales and transfer clauses being cashed in, we made a very healthy profit this year and with the Premier League monies about to roll in, this will only improve. Key Players Aaron Ramsey - The central midfielder had a tremendous season. Gonzalo Barrios - The club record signing at £1.5m, the uruguayan central midfielder has quickley settled and become one of our best players. Fabio Miretti - Another midfielder, we picked the Italian up on a free transfer from Juventus and has proved to be an absolute steal. Luis Herrera - Another Uruguayan, the striker was signed for just £325,000 and quickly repaid the faith shown in him, as he returned 26 goals in 47 appearances. Jonjoe Raynes - The English defender has been an absolute rock for us since arriving on loan from Liverpool for the season. Next Season I just want to survive. wheatoplays
I'm going to take a break from this save. I just feel like I'm going through the motions right now. The club is doing great, but I don't feel like I'm getting the enjoyment I should from the success the club is having. I'm going to give the level 10 challenge a go, and maybe come back to Dafuge's later on.
DazRTaylor
End of Season Review Season 2029/30 Kings Langley Season Summary With no cup runs of note, we had no excuses in the league and a safe mid table finish was good to see. Season Details League Table - I have to be pleased with a solid, if unspectacular, mid table finish. League Fixtures 1 & 2 - We were exceptional in the first half of the season but then went on a dreadful run, where we picked up just four points from a possible thirty three. F. A. Cup - We went out at the third round stage as we lost narrowly away to fellow top flight side Norwich City. Carabao Cup - There was no repeat of last years quarter final appearance as we played poorly in losing to Leeds United at Elland Road in the third round. Friendlies - I was happy enough with our pre season campaign as we lost just two of our ten games. Squad - Our squad is very young though with plenty of potential. I need these players to start developing. Squad Dynamics - It is looking great, which I would expect after such a solid campaign. Transfers In 1 & 2 - I spent over £30m bringing in a lot of new players, much better than what we had and with a a lot of potential. Transfers Out 1, 2 & 3 - We raked in over £20m in player sales as I shifted a lot of deadwood. Youth Candidates - Welsh left back Craig Jones YP30A29 is the brightest prospect out of a disappointing intake. Finances - We have a very healthy balance after the Premier League monies arrived throughout the season. Key Players Gonzalo Barrios - Our best player this year, the Uruguayan central midfielder was key to most of the points we won in the league. Fabio Miretti - The Italian midfielder couldn't replicate his heroics from last season and he may have to be moved on. Diego Pereira - Another Uruguayan, the 21 year old striker, who cost just £2m, had a decent first campaign in England, scoring 21 goals in 39 appearances. Karl Jakob Hein - The Estonian international goalkeeper was very busy after his £325,000 move from Millwall. Aleksander Kostić - The 20 year old Serbian international right winger flattered to deceive to be honest. I expect more from him next season. He was still a bargain though, costing only £2.5m. kdavva74
I have always been fascinated with Merthyr Town as they're by far the smallest of the Welsh clubs competing in England. They're a really proud and historic club though even in their new iteration and I want to try this challenge with them, and only use Welsh players. Scab
Warrington Rylands 2027/28 Season Review League Table Squad Transfers Finances Poor end-of-season form made it tighter than it should've been, but after some final-day drama we're 1st on goal difference! I'd expected the step up to the EFL to be rough, so I'm frankly thrilled to sail on past League Two already! Much credit must be given to Dolan, scoring a whopping 41 goals from 48 appearances and the league top goal scorer a comfortable 12 goals ahead of the nearest competitor. He hasn't had a season like this since the Vanarama North, so it really caught me by surprise. And kept an increasingly disgruntled Holland-Wilkinson on the bench. Judging by our analytics, the key actually appears to be our improved wing play delivering large numbers of crosses and square balls needing little more than simple tap-ins to be converted, but I guess still good on Dolan for consistently getting there ahead of the defenders. I'll take a 40+ goals/season poacher! Quite a lot of changes to the starting line-up compared to last season. Blackburn didn't want to renew Jones' loan so I brought in Quansah and Maghoma as our new DC pairing, then Humphreys and Maycock as our new DM pairing - the former starting our attacks from deep while the latter gets himself forward, then finally Heard and Cooper to add some quality to our attacking midfield. McCourt and Holland-Wilkinson left in January, tired of mostly warming the bench, and I was lucky to get Maggs in last-minute on a short-term loan to avoid any squad depth issues. Successful signings all around. Aim for next season: Survive League One. I can't imagine we're ready after back-to-back promotions. That is a worthy challenge kdavva74- I always start as a Welshman in this challenge and I typically have at least one or two key players boosting me up from Wales (because of the scouting knowledge). Good luck on this one!

DazRTaylor
End of Season Review Season 2030/31 Kings Langley Season Summary It was another season of mid table mediocrity in the Premier League, though we did reach our first major cup final. Season Details League Table - We were always in the middle of the pack and never really struggled with staying up. League Fixtures 1 & 2 - A poor run in the new year curtailed any hope I had of pushing for a European spot. F. A. Cup - A dreadful performance away to Championship side Watford saw the club crash at at the first time of asking, at the third round stage. Carabao Cup - Our best cup run to date, despite nearly throwing away the semi final. We made it all the way to the final before narrowly losing to Arsenal by the odd goal in three. Friendlies - It was nearly a perfect pre season, where we won every game except one, where German outfit RB Leipzig held us to a draw. Squad - Our squad is still very young though the players are developing nicely so we are going from strength to strength. Squad Dynamics - It remains rather good. Transfers In 1 & 2 - We broke our transfer record no less than four times as we spent big, over £110m, using our budget as well as monies raised through player sales. Transfers Out 1, 2, 3 & 4 - We did lose one superstar, though the £70m offered for Diego Pereira was too good to refuse. Other sales and loans brought in over £160m. Youth Candidates - I am told Irish left winger Eoin Mullen YP31D43 is the best prospect out of what I consider an average intake. Finances - Our bank balance continues to be very healthy as the rewards in the top flight are so big. Key Players Gonzalo Barrios - When fit, the Uruguayan central midfielder, now a full international, is one of our best players. Ikhbayer Altantsetseg - A Mongolian international, yes Mongolian, who cost just £2.1m and has been forced to play more than I expected due to the club record sale of Diego Pereira. Maro Katinić - The Croatian international centre half has been a rock since his arrival from Middlesbrough in the summer. Miguel Capango - Signed from Manchester United in the January transfer window, the Portuguese left winger has settled in very quickly. Marcos - Our Brazilian goalkeeper is desperate to leave ti further his international ambitions though he remains a class act for us. Next Season I would love to be able to challenge for a European place. The key player in our promotion was SC Louie Barry, who was a goal-scoring machine all season and his consistent scoring and big moment scoring were the key ingredients to our success. The other key player was the addition of 20 year old Scottish GK Gordon Paton. Paton had already been the regular starting keeper for St.Mirren for three seasons when we were able to land him for 50K because he wanted to move to a bigger club and was in the final year of his contract. Paton is already being tapped to get his 1st Cap this summer after 20 clean sheets and a 7.01 rating. The race to the title was close as we battled Leeds, Crystal Palace and Middlesbrough down the stretch. Key Players for Matlock Town: GK- Gordon Paton 7.01 20 clean sheets DR- Edier Ocampo 6.98 6 assists- flew up and down the right wing all season DRL- Connor Tierney 6.96 key mid-season addition helped us survive lengthy injury to Ocampo DL- Stefan Parkes 6.92 DC- Eoin Toal 7.01 Elder Statesman on the club and Northern Irish International who was a rock on the backline DC- Daniel Maher 7.07 3 goals 2 POM Continued his promising development DC- Mpilonhle Mathebula 6.85 2 goals 1 assist Huge South African youngster who contributed in almost every match he played MR- Charles Sagoe 7.04 12 assists Anchored our right wing all season ML- Ben Simpson 7.25 4 goals 10 assists 2 POM Completely converted over from SC to Inverted winger to get him in the lineup on a regular basis ML- Wayne Byrne 6.96 2 assists Loanee who I thought might contribute more but wasn't impact player MC- Joseph Tchami 7.18 4 goals 8 assists 19 year old continued to develop superbly, Liverpool is going to regret letting him go on free to us MC- Sydie Peck 7.12 2 goals 10 assists 1 POM His brilliant passing buoyed us in our early challenges in Championship as we tried to gel with all the new additions MC- Daniel Redfearn 6.89 1 goal 1 assist West Brom's midseason offer of 1.1 Million was one we could not turn down- the New Zealand international was a tackling demon MC- Jaden Palmer-Leandre 7.11 2 goals 5 assists 1 POM His stats were all in 17 matches as he earned my trust in the 2nd half of the season and turned out to be a dazzling passer SC- Louie Barry (stats below) Key cog in our offense as he could not be marked at Championship level SC- Caleb Chukwuemeka 7.41 17 goals 11 assists 3 POM Overcame a 14 match scoreless string to contribute huge goals down the stretch run SC- Tyrese Omotoye 7.16 11 goals 1 assist 2 POM A favorite of mine (if you have followed my past Dafuge runs) who helped keep us afloat when Chukwuemeka lost his goal scoring touch Teaser- got all of our hopes up and nothing came of it. This was in his 2nd season with the club. H Hanging tough at midseason. Still in well at the three quarter mark. Six left to play. Bristol City falling off their torrid early pace. In our next to last match, we went to Elland Road and led by the superb Louie Barry defeated them 2-0 to overtake them for top spot. We would need at least a draw against already relegated Preston North End to ensure promotion, but a win would give us the title as our goal differential over Leeds was substantial. In addition to losing two goals to offsides, we hit the post and crossbar three times in the match and their keeper played well- it could easily have been 10-0 (or worse). A very comprehensive win for us. We were led all season by the incomparable Louie Barry. Barry broke the Championship record for Goals, Average Rating and Most POM and was awarded Player of the Year.

Crispypaul
CrispypaulDorchester Town Championship 2029/30 League - Season Review 1 | Season Review 2 - quite a shock here as we gradually climb the table and lift the title on the last day FA Cup - Fixtures - a fifth round exit away to Arsenal, who charged sod all for tickets so we hardly made any money EFL Cup - Fixtures - actually won a game Transfers - I bought a couple of players for reasonable fees (for us) Finances - not great, but not a problem soon Squad Key players: Oliver Sanderson - still scoring, although the PL is probably a bit much and Parma are sniffing around Alex Romero - loaned again and still prolific Harry Morrison - strong striker loaned for a song from fellow challengers Middlesborough Francisco Meixedo - our previous goalkeeper was not good enough so £425k in January bought in a better keeper Darko Gyabi - strong season, wants to increase his wage from £3k to £25k though! Sam Curtis - Irish right back signed from Hibs Future - I expected at least a season of consolidation so this is going to be difficult. We've a new stadium and are off to Bournemouth for the season Season Division Position FA Cup League Cup Europe Notes 2023/24 NLS 1st 2nd Round - - Champions, promoted, FA Trophy semis 2024/25 NL 3rd 3rd Round - - Lost in FA trophy final and play off final 2025/26 NL 1st 3rd Round - - Lost in FA trophy final, Champions 2026/27 L2 1st 4th Round 1st Round - Promoted as Champions 2027/28 L1 7th 4th Round 1st Round - 2028/29 L1 2nd QF 1st Round - Promoted 2029/30 CH 1st 5th Round 2nd round - Promoted as Champions

DazRTaylor
End of Season Review Season 2024/25 North Shields Season Summary An excellent league campaign where we secured the league title and promotion to the fifth tier. The less said about the cups the better. Season Details League Table - Once top, we never looked back and topped the 100 point mark. League Fixtures 1 & 2 - We started very well and raced into a lead. Poor form in the new year could of cost us though we recovered. F. A. Cup - We reached the fourth qualifying round before being defeated away to Oldham Athletic, who play in the league above. F. A. Trophy - A dreadful performance away to Baraintree, who play in the Vanarama National League South, eliminated the club at the first time of asking, in the second round. Friendlies - We had a mixed bag of results though the standard of sides we played were generally higher than us. Squad - We have a good nucleus though our loanees will need to be replaced and more depth added. Squad Dynamics - After such a good season, this is as good as you would expect. Transfers In 1 & 2 - I overhauled the squad witha plethora of free transfers and loans. Transfers Out - I allowed a lot of the old guard to leave, all on free transfers. I did receive a nominal fee for Charlie Olsen, a player I signed that unfortunately proved to be a bust. Youth Candidates - Right back Peter Brown is supposed to be the best player out of a very poor intake. Finances - Our one area of concern as we are hemorrhaging cash and losing money. Key Players Joe Westley - An extraordinary season from our striker who scored an incredible 60 goals in just 49 appearances. Luke Bell - Despite being just 18 years old, the central defender has the composure of a veteran. Paul Allen - One of our oldest players at 25, the Scottish midfielder was a sensation. Jacob Beaumont-Clark - The teenage right winger was an assist machine. Max Woltman - Signed in December on a free transfer, he is comfortable either as the main striker or on the left wing. Next Season Is it greedy to be targeting a playoff spot? Crispypaul
CrispypaulDorchester Town Premier League 2030/31 League - Season Review 1 | Season Review 2 - an expected tough season however we scraped enough wins (and got smashed by Leeds 8-2..) to finish in a very creditable 14th FA Cup - Fixtures - knocked out by Arsenal again in the fifth round EFL Cup - Fixtures - made it to the 4th round only to lose to Spurs Transfers - needed to spend money and we did, as well as moving a couple on Finances - this is after the spending and multiple ground improvements Squad Key players: Alex Romero - secured him permanently for a bargain £5m and he stepped up Darko Gyabi - I gave him a new contract and he continued to perform Michael McGuckin - paid a fair bit for the Northern Irish international striker from Plymouth and he had a good season Stacy Casciato - cheap signing from Arsenal as our backup but "could be the next Gordon Banks" and became first choice keeper Ivan Azon - bought the striker for £9m in January as we were weak there Future - we still have a low rep, with six Championship teams above us, but should hopefully improve as I keep getting League One player recommendations from the scouts Season Division Position FA Cup League Cup Europe Notes 2023/24 NLS 1st 2nd Round - - Champions, promoted, FA Trophy semis 2024/25 NL 3rd 3rd Round - - Lost in FA trophy final and play off final 2025/26 NL 1st 3rd Round - - Lost in FA trophy final, Champions 2026/27 L2 1st 4th Round 1st Round - Promoted as Champions 2027/28 L1 7th 4th Round 1st Round - 2028/29 L1 2nd QF 1st Round - Promoted 2029/30 CH 1st 5th Round 2nd round - Promoted as Champions 2030/31 PL 14th 5th Round 4th Round - Stayed up

streety
Pre Season Rushall Olympic 23/24 Pre Season was a case of getting the tactics i wanted getting the staff i needed and the players i wanted who looked somewhat decent...oh and the friendlies. First lets get the staff in to help me in the club for the coming season. Staff Still not sure on my head on my HOYD will keep looking but decided to stick with him but think this season will be just maintaining our position in the league. Will still be looking for any staff i can fill but once the season is underway i think that i will stick with this lot. I have a feeling my scouts will be the most busy. I have decided as most of my squad are going to be poached on free transfers i will replace when it happens. so i looked at the Squad i had and bought a couple of players in. Transfers In/Out As one of my GKs went to Bradford i signed a couple of GKs to bolster that area...including a certian Schwarzer...so the GKs are sorted for a few seasons i also signed a Striker and a winger and a midfielder...Overall i feel the squad is ready for the season. I still have some room in the wage budget for a couple more signings if needed but i will see how we get one once the season starts. i might look at getting a defender in before the end of the season. Friendlies The friendlies went well apart from a slip up against Oxford City was still messing with the formation and tactics so i put that one down to, To much messing! i felt that that was was good bar to set the team against and we lost 2-4. With the board setting Attempt to avoid relegation asnd be competitive in the cups. I feel the club is being counted out even before a ball is kicked. Its time to prove them All wrong!
Tyer
I had to reinstall game lost save, luckily only a couople months in. Hopefully I remake and get Marine again but I won't try 20 times. I think the idea Daz had for holiday 2 years and pick a team promoted twice sounds fun so I'll try that, I'll update this post. Took a while but I found one, although this club had previously been at tier 6 before, should be a decent challenge, probably wont' be hitting the premier league in 8 seasons here like some of you! DazRTaylor
End of Season Review Season 2025/26 North Shields Season Summary What a season this was. We stormed to the league title and together with an F. A. Trophy win, we secured a league and cup double. Season Details League Table - We were always the best side in the division and secured the title and promotion to the Football League with three games remaining. League Fixtures 1 & 2 - We went off like a train and didn;t lose a game until November. We maintained this form throughout and won the league comfortably. F. A. Cup - We made the first round proper this year before a dreadful performance away to promotion rivals Maidstone United sw the club crash out. F. A. Trophy - We enjoyed a glorious cup run, all the way to Wembley where we played Kidderminster Harriers. The match itself was one sided and we comfortably secured the trophy. Friendlies - Considering the strength of some of our opponents, only losing twice was a good effort. Squad - We are good enough for mid table, though I expect us to challenge for a top four spot once reinforcements have arrived. Squad Dynamics - It is marvellous, which you would expect after such a terrific campaign. Transfers In 1, 2 & 3 - As usual, I brought in free transfers and loans and they were a clear upgrade on who we already had. Transfers Out 1 & 2 - I broke the transfer sale record four times as I continued to try and raise funds for the bank balance. Youth Candidates - The intake was even worse than last year. I am told striker Alun Tymon is the pick of the bunch but he is dreadful. No one will be offered professional terms. I think I need to look for a new Head of Youth Development. Finances - Thanks to a trip to Wembley, we made a small profit this year, though we are still heavily in the red. Key Players Max Woltman - Now deployed as our main striker, he had a great season. Andy Smith - The central defender played better than I expected and was actually one of our best players this year. Di'Shon Bernard - It was a fabulous season from the defender. He is sulking and has announced he is leaving on a free transfer. Femi Seriki - The right back arrived on a free transfer in November and quickly settled in as our best full back. David Robson - Our goalkeeper was very reliable. Next Season I honestly feel, with the right additions, we can challenge again. streety
So the halway point in my first season in charge is going well...still have not decided on my number 1 tactic so im rotating between 3. (could do with input/views on this) anyway the league form is indiffrent but i would say we are heading in the right direction League Table The league form aside my other thought was the FA Cup which io really wanted to get to the first round proper FA Cup Run As the season has gone on i decided i was not finished in my squad improvement/Overhaul so i bought in 2 new additions to the squad 1 Midfielder and a defender. Cameron Black - Now i bought in Cameron on trail pre season and he had impressed me but i did have my eye on someone else but i got snubbed. and i let Cameron go but i have bought him back at 6'6 hes a tree of a defender that in therory shouldnt get beaten in the air... Aiden Finnegan - Now looking at my squad the midfield worried me so this was/is my next area of call after sorting my defence out. but i want it to be gradual improvement over the seasons...if i make it past the first season So so far its going in the right direction
