Croatia are all technicians, need something else to win here.

We got no long shot threats and noone who can dribble past defenders in tight spaces.

Still, had that Perišić chance and Petković not making the pass.

Also, goal was conceded after a corner which was given from Juranović's ridiculous clearence when it was clearly keeper's ball. Full on panic mode for him during the entire tournament.

Dalić will switch strikers, maybe put Vlašić on and then do nothing until 75th minute.

Japan is all about the system. Rather average and limited players but deserving to be ahead. We're terrible, especially Brozović and Modrić. If you can't win against a team as limited as Japan, you deserve nothing. Simple as that.

Barišić's father is head of the mafia, so he had to make 26-man list.

(I'm not even joking.)

Come on man, stop quoting stupid things said by English tabloids. His father is a clown.

Brazil on their day could win 5-0 against Japan. Some of the reactions in their defense were League 1 level, even today. We were awful at exploiting that.

English paper wrote about it? Didn't even know.

His father's business has been well-known stuff from before Barišić made the NT.

He's our 2nd best LB. Yes, that a depressing fact, but it's true. If Sosa is ill, we have no better options unfortunately. His dodgy father has nothing to do with that fact.

There must be another FM wonderkid lurking in Dinamo’s B team somewhere?

There are those two guys.

Barišić is still probably better just because of experience, but he's always been a liability. Would rather see younger players make mistakes.

We'll probably be switching to 3 man defense with the next coach, got no wings whatsoever, but plenty of midfielders.

Brazil only beat Japan 1-0 with a penalty goal a few months ago. Brazil beat South Korea 5-1 that same week.

Nah. Dinamo u19 team has a right footed CB playing a LB :D

Is Baturina going to be any good? (obviously not a LB though)

This is dire... Both sides resigned for extra time

I think Japan are spent tbh, they look out of ideas. Whereas you’d think Croatia have another gear somewhere, if they can find it. Or want to.

At this point, it's kind of irrelevant.

Sure, another QF and a match against Brazil would be a big achievement, but the match would be on Friday and this clown just refuses to sub anyone, midfield is completely spent.

Will be a walkover for Brazil, regardless of who they play.

Rather have Japanese celebrate a huge win, than have this clown luck his way into another knockout round.
