Said it with Australia, nice that the nations got through, but has meant these last 16 games have been woeful. As not only quality off, they don't have the spite to make it a battle like Uruguay would.

Trade off for final matchday drama, a collection of crap L16 games.

Looks like Brazil are the chosen this WC then, must be their turn.

This game is done, what else is on

Brazil have only played against nobodies so far. It’s luck, etc but who knows if Brazil will perform well against Argentina or France.

Iirc, you haven't beaten an European team in knockouts since 2002?

Will probably change on Friday, but the road to final couldn't have been easier, despite having to face Argentina, most likely.

Aren't they doing it because someone criticised Vini for "dancing like a monkey"?

Yeah, keep it going imho.

Somebody compared Vinicius Junior to a performing monkey because of his dance celebrations so now loads of Brazilians do it in solidarity with him iirc.

Yes, last time was in 2002, in the round of 16 Brazil played against Chile, Mexico, Ghana, etc

Weird to use Australia as example, as they were rather close to getting a draw against Messi & co.

Yeah, i get why it might seem annoying but as long as they're having fun and doing it for a good cause, I'm all for it.
