Darius1998
Switzerland conceded 2 in 10 in the qualifiers. Will be funny if Santos now comes out and says Ronaldo has learnt his lesson and will start against Morocco and then that ends up sending them out. A lot of people wrote off their chances because they expected CR to start most games. People definitely slept on their stacked XI/Squad. Arguably the best squad in the world imo.
Darius1998
At some point, they will end up replacing Pepe with Antonio Silva and have their CB duo sorted out for the next decade as well.
themadsheep2001
People wrote them off because Santos was playing with the handbrake on in the group stages. In fact this performance is against the grain for what they do

themadsheep2001
That was abject from Switzerland. So passive, just allowed Portugal to have the run of the pitch

Pukey
I don't even know what Switzerland's plan was supposed to be. Never expected them to be so ridiculously open, I know they went 1 down quite early but still you don't just...not defend? Portugal were absolutely ruthless. Can't see them not getting past Morocco, who'll probably defend a hell of a lot better but are pretty toothless up front.

I've not exactly taken it easy on him in the past for holding Portugal back, so have to give him some praise this time.
