ElJuanvito
Ever since the beta, almost all striker roles (except false 9, target man and poacher) have been a near guaranteed 6.5 or lower for me, It's like the move into channels instruction is kryptonite for them in my tactics (plural). Any help?
Johnny Ace
Head over to the Tactics and Training board, post a screenshot of your tactic up and you'll get some help
ElJuanvito
Is it possible to move this thread over there? I started with my FM22 tactic which was working well back then: a 4-3-3 with an advanced forward, inverted wingers with stay wide instructions, and mezzale or CMs on attack. From that I've done many tweaks to formation/roles, with little luck. I think I just found a promising tweak, though: use one of the 8s as an Advanced Playmaker. CARRERA
22 minutes ago, ElJuanvito said: advanced forward, inverted wingers There is no need to also have your striker to move into channels if your wide players already do. Someone needs to provide a threat in central areas. Make one of your wide players a Winger, keep your AF and have a deep runner that’s not moving into channels to penetrate central areas. Or make one of your wide players a winger, pick a striker that’s penetrating central areas and have a deep runner, that’s moving into channels to penetrate Or keep both wide players inverted and have a striker that’s penetrating central areas. If you want to, also have a deep runner to overload central areas
