The 4-2-3-1 DM Wide operates similarly to the 4-2-3-1 Wide in this version of the game. I believe the AI won't use 4-4-1-1 either. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

The 4-2-3-1 DM Wide formation in FM 2023 is using two defensive midfielders. The 4-2-3-1 Wide is using two central midfielders. I tried to use the last one in FM 2023 but couldn't find it in the formation drop-down menu in the tactic screen. The _Captain Posted June 10, 2023 Share Posted June 10, 2023 4231 Denmark would be too powerful in the current version of fm. It was one of the preset formations in fm2009. A lot of ai teams used it.
