If you set it up in the staff responsibilities -> scouting, it should happen automatically for each match.

How do you send your scout to another country competition, say, Premier League?

You create a scouting assignment where you set that country as the place to scout.

If you want to send a scouter to scout Premier League:

Scouting > Recruitment Focus > Create Recruitment Focus

If you want your Chief Scout to scout Next Opposition:

Scouting > Scouting Coverage > Match and Team Analysis

Choose Scout / Choose Analyst

I am usually pick my Chief Scout and my Head of Performance Analyst

Also, make sure to choose them from:

Staff > Responsibilities > Scouting

- Providing Scouting Opposition Reports (Chief Scout)
- Providing Own Team Analysis Reports (Head of Performance Analyst)
- Providing Opposition Analysis Reports (Head of Performance Analyst)
