thefmveteran86
So what is more important Average rating vs Last 5 games? I mean this is the screenshot of the team I'm with now, thoughts? Edited October 16, 2023 by thefmveteran86
kevhamster
It really depends what you're trying to measure. The last 5 games is obviously their current form and if lower than expected you'd need to be considering whether they need dropping or for their role to be reconsidered. You'd also need to take into account how many minutes they've had in those 5 games.
Dagenham_Dave
As an aside, I simply could never have a squad view that doesn't show the players age and nationality.

CAE82
Looking at that screenshot, I'd personally think most players are in poor form (last 5 games) and so you should look to address it e.g. warn players about poor performance. But Last 5 games is not always clear-cut - players may have played for U21 for match fitness. You'll often find that your second string players may have higher ratings as they may play the easy cup games/home league players against poorer teams etc.
Jonthedon26
Average rating... as the old saying goes 'form is temporary, class is permanent'. Now that isn't to say that you should keep playing someone if their rating in the last 5 games has been atrocious. But as a measure of how good a player is I tend to stick with attributes/average rating.
