It's surely impossible logistically for a country to book a bank holiday on such short notice. Surely

It'll be enforced in all fairness. The office the day after the last one was just empty, nothing functioned.

Tbh, it's over.

In my mind Spain has about 1% chance, England just can't lose another final.

I've got four more days until I have to concede that someone like Southgate can win a major tournament.

can't lose another final? we've only been to two and won one of them :D

Boots desperate for a day off. You on a promise?

It's the right thing to do. Imagine being in power for a week and not giving a bank holiday.

What a stingebaG he'd be. He's even going there, I want a bank holiday if we win, or win on xG, or xT.

But not in Scotland, Wales & NI obviously. They can pick up the slack.

Scotland get an extra bank holiday on 2nd Jan don't they. Damn right.

My word, Southgate has nearly won over Gunman :D

He's just wanting to be able to say BOTTLED even if we lose because they score a worldie and then keep the ball for the rest of the game....

Booking work holiday for Monday now

pissed off that I have a deadline which makes that unfeasible and it's a collaborative things so I can't even work the Saturday instead.

Everyone who makes multiple finals in the approximately the same era eventually wins one.

Argentina lost a few Copas, but got over the hump eventually.

France lost an EURO final at home and won two years later.

Italy's two EURO finals were 9 years apart, a loss and a win.

Germany won WC after losing EURO 6 years earlier.

Italy lost EURO and won WC 6 years later.

Brazil won WC 4 years after losing.

Not winning now would make England the biggest losers among NTs. :D

I'm always objective.

When England lost to France in Qatar, I said it was their best game of tournament, lost because of individual errors.

This entire tournament they've been horrible, but this was a great first half and a decent enough second with good subs that were late, but apparently not too late.

Still wouldn't have won without the ref. :brock:

It was always obvious who will Zwayer favor.

We played really well in the 1st half, 2nd we was poor

Southgate made the right subs today. It was bold but obviously paid off. He's best moment for England. He's had luck but who really cares

Graham Taylor would have loved today. But i thought Koeman was magnanimous in his Interview on ITV

3rd final for England, 1st overseas. We won in 1966 under a Labour Government

Bet the O2 were a **** sight more relieved than Brandon :D

I'm imagining the Killers opening with Mr Brightside whilst, in the background, Jarrod Bowen comes on for Saka as the 105th minute ticks over...

Club level is different from NTs. :D

Otherwise look no further than a certain Italian team in CL finals.

But I do truly believe England will win it unless they get scared of the opportunity.

I'm so excited for the possibility of Rob going on a mass quoting spree even if I'm called out myself.
