  1. Is it possible to change the names of stadiums that are only used in certain competitions (namely continental and international competitions) via a LNC file? For example, changing the name used for Marseille's ground in Europe from the generic 'Stade de Marseille' back to 'Stade Vélodrome', or changing the name of the 'BVB Stadion Dortmund' - as it's called in the Champions League - to the more historic 'Westfalenstadion'?
  2. Two quick questions: 1 - Is there a way to add the offer type column from the Scouting Centre overview (the one that says 'agent offers', 'highly recommended', etc) to the recommended players screen? I've looked and can't seem to find what it would be under. 2 - Is it possible to edit the skin/panels of the in-game editor? I'm curious as to whether it'd be possible to add future start dates to any loan deals by adding a new field in there...
  3. Might not exactly be a simple question per se given that it might not've been done much, but you never know. Basically: Is it possible for B teams to play in a league in a country that is different from the main team? Is it possible for said B team to qualify for Europe if the main team does as well? The idea here is that rather than trying to have the main teams change country/leagues at a future date (which seems like a huge headache in itself) to instead use their B teams in the so-called 'lesser' league. The primary example I was thinking was to have the Welsh teams enter their B teams (with limitations of course) in the Welsh system, but it could also be useful for a potential separate Catalan league system I was considering*. Is it doable? * - The idea being to have Barcelona, Espanyol, Girona and possibly Gimnastic de Tarragona remain in La Liga but their B teams in the league of a Catalonia that has unified with Andorra, taking their spot in UEFA/FIFA (and sneakily avoiding the limitations of the game when it comes to creating new nations, particularly in regards to their name pools).
  4. So I've been trying to add the real results from last season's Scottish Premiership after downloading an extended Scottish league system file. However, whenever I try to test the competitions and/or verify the file, it keeps cropping up with an error as you can see attached below. Oddly, it can calculate up to certain dates and give a totally different error regarding the number of teams in said fixtures. Even more infuriatingly, it always seems to crop up in January/February, and not when the league splits in April (I assumed it might've had something to do with the delayed Dundee-Rangers match that was played after the split). Not to mention that the number of teams part - which is always consistent - doesn't match up with the number of teams in the league itself! I was curious as to whether it has something to do with the 'date index', because certain matchdays are spread out over certain weeks due to postponements and whatnot, but once I filled that out the same error keeps occurring. Any ideas as to what could be going on?
  5. There's only one way I can think of doing it, but it's a bit awkward and possibly cumbersome: Toying about with FMRTE, they have a 'Future Transfers' screen where you can alter future transfers due to take place. The FMRTE site also hosts an editor data file that allows you to start your game right at the end of the season just prior to the Champions League Final. If you had the time, I'm sure you'd be able to start a game at that date and edit the future transfers so that players would join their new clubs on the correct date in Summer 2024. However, there are quite a few limitations to this - you can't arrange future loans, you can only arrange the player clauses after the signing has occurred, and the competitions might not be 100% perfect depending on whether fixtures work or not. (I'm unsure of whether or not the option of 'Disable First Season Transfer Activity' would help or not either.)
  6. It does seem like, at the very least, they could be viewed separately from the 'People' section by changing the UI to enable it. Changing them might be a tad more difficult - they currently appear to be flagged as 'Read Only'. However, looking at the initial thread it is absolutely possible to enable and change settings that were once hidden - someone mentioned changing Newgen Preferences by Club - and doing some tinkering with the XML files myself (at which I am not an expert) I was able to at the least make a section for 'Alternative Stadium Names' visible inside the Stadium entry page. With a bit more tinkering, I hope I can allow people to enter alternative names to be used in certain competitions (for example, sponsor-free names for European games). Seems like something that will require a fair bit of trial and error though.
  7. Having a look at the files included in the 'Customize Editor' mod, there appears to be a few XML files referring to 'Person Name'. Given that they refer to 'ethnicity', 'count' and 'use for regens', could these indeed be the files that could be enabled to fully edit the namepools?
  8. Anyone able to give me a hand with this? Trying to alter the league format to change starting season 2024-25 but I keep hitting errors with team numbers and whatnot. Want to get the leagues sorted first before I even think about the cups... Scottish Pyramid (Future Format).fmf
  9. I know you can add completed league fixtures in the pre-game editor if you want to start a game at a future date, but is it possible to add cup (and even continental) results as well? Would it be a case of changing the 'Cup Tie Mappings' for knockout games, for example?
  10. That's exactly the kind of explanation I was looking for! Thanks a ton! A follow-up question to anyone who might be able to answer it - is it possible to have teams change countries from a fixed date in the future rather than at the start of the game? Part of my plan is to have the Welsh teams in the English pyramid move to the Welsh system around the same time as the UEFA regs change (more chance at the riches of the Champions League and Cup Winners Cup, after all).
  11. Is it possible to edit news items that appear in your inbox/on news screen? Is it also possible to edit the event that they trigger on (for example, a league reconstruction or competition change)?
  12. Long story short, I'm looking at changing the format of the UEFA competitions in a similar way to the old 'UEFA Revival' databases that were around for earlier FMs. There'll be a champions-only Champions League, revived CWC, altered Europa League (two entrants for bottom 4 associations in coefficient ranking, three for everyone else but Liechtenstein), altered Conference League - now called the Conference Trophy for the Group Stage dropouts to enter between February and May - and tweaked Super Cup. Additionally though, I want to run another competition called the Continental Shield that'll run from February to May and be competed for by the winners of twelve regional tournaments that run alongside the CL, CWC and EL between late August/early September and December. Initially I wanted to limit the regional cups to teams that hadn't qualified for European competition already, but given that a good number of the dropouts from CL/CWC/EL qualifiers would likely be from countries lower down the UEFA totem pole, it seems odd not to have the biggest teams from those countries representing them in the likes of the Baltic League or Black Sea Cup. How would I go about setting it up so that the dropouts would take the places in these regional cups that might otherwise go to qualifiers from their leagues? Would it be a case of setting up a UEFA Regional Cups parent competition, for example?
  13. Damn, that's a shame. As a follow-up, is there a way to import team names en masse rather than doing it one at a time through the In-Game Editor? Like how you can import player pictures using the directory in your device's internal memory.
  14. Hey there, Looking at buying FM Mobile for something to do on the go, but I'm curious about a couple things mainly: 1) Is there a pre-game editor that allows you to change settings prior to starting the game, as with the PC version? 2) If not, is it possible to import edited FMF or XML files created with the PC editor, or does the database use an entirely different structure?
