  1. Thanks @LowestLeagueHero good to have you following! I think we can get past Derry but Dinamo will be a step up too far for us. I've experienced that too before, turning professional too soon ruins you financially in the background and obviously contracts to change all the players from part-time to full-time. We're some way off yet though.
  2. June 2026 We've drawn Irish side Derry City in the UEFA Champions League Champions Path First Qualifying Round. IF we win in this tie we will face... Dinamo from Croatia.
  3. Thank @WhiteCat33, let's just say it's been all too easy to be honest but maybe that's because it's such a level playing field in Luxembourg. There's no prize money, no TV deal at the moment, and sponsorship ranges from £250k to £50k. Every club is also semi-professional at the moment. Dudelange probably has the closest chance to turn professional due to having £1.5m in the bank. A couple of seasons in Europe we could be sitting with a similar amount in the bank.
  4. 2025/26 Season Review A crowd of 1067 saw us beat Progres 2-1, the goals coming from Veselcic and Milord. Which means... Unreal scenes at the Estadio do Cents as we secure the National Division title for the first time. We've blown our pre-season predictions of attempting to avoid relegation out of the water. We have also won the division title in each of the last three seasons at three different tiers. Luxembourg National Division - Predicted 11th | Finished 1st We finish three points clear of Jeunesse Esch and Differdange with Progres being leapfrogged by both on the last day of the season. We scored the 5th most in the league with 64 goals and conceded 32 goals which was actually the least by five goals. Luxembourg Cup - 3rd Round - we beat Atert Bissen before losing to Titus Petange in the 3rd Round. Top Scorer - Oliver Veselcic (20) - another step up for Veselcic but he made it look easy, the young Luxembourgish shadow-striker notched 20 goals in all competitions with 18 coming in the league which sees him tied for 4th in the league goalscorers chart. Most Assists - Serkan de Wit (8) - eight assists in 1500 minutes for Serkan, he was largely a rotational player behind Veselcic and Frick. Average Rating - Oliver Veselcic (7.67) - 10 Player of the Match awards this season for Oliver, he contributed 20 goals and seven assists. U19 POTY - Tein van der Ham - a great debut season for Tein in Luxembourg, he played the Mezzala role in a midfield two, he scored six goals and made eight assists. The owner has pumped in three separate cash injections into the club this season totaling £285k. That money won't last, finishing top of the league however, does enter us into the Champions League for next season, so we have a chance of some participation money and maybe some prize money if we get a good draw.
  5. May 2026 A poor 1-1 draw against Mondorf tightened things up at the top. A much-needed win over Titus Petange thanks to the midfield duo of van der Ham and Claude Mendes with the goals. We were 5-0 up against Mondercange before they came back into the game with three goals of their own. Veselcic and van der Ham with two goals each. We play Progres on the last day of the season... A draw will be enough to see us crowned Champions of Luxembourg.
  6. April 2026 We opened the month with a solid win over Swift Hesperange, we amassed 3.94xG and created four clear-cut chances, maybe we should have won by more against the side bottom of the league. We then drew at home to Wiltz, a poor result in reality, we had more chances but Wiltz had more clear-cut chances. Some rotation due to niggly injuries and a couple of suspensions, it did us no favours as Una Strassen beat us comfortably. We had plenty of opportunities but it was Andre Oliveira who notched a hat-trick for them who did the damage. Back to a full complement of players for the against Schifflange. Claude Mendes, the best youth player from last season's intake got us off to a flyer after just two minutes, we could have had more than six as the goalscoring ended with around half an hour of the game remaining. Top by two points to Differdange, four games remaining.
  7. March 2026 Another good month, a solo Veselcic effort was enough for all three points against a strong Differdange side. We took our one clear-cut chance and those three points saw us hit the top of the table. Marley Milord struck twice to down Dudelange, a fairly even game where we took our chances. Then we failed to take our chances against Fola Esch as we racked up just over 2.0 xG whilst having six shots on target. Veselcic failed to score in injury time penalty to steal all three points, his first miss from the spot of the season. Top by three points as Differdange lost to Racing FC.
  8. March 2026 Downgraded to a good intake. Just one elite talent in Jose Carlos. Not a great intake overall for us.
  9. February 2026 We've returned from the winter break in good form although not the start we would have wanted with a draw to bottom two side Jeunesse Canach. We were on the right end of a five-goal game thanks to German defender Prosche's first goal for the club. A Veselcic penalty was enough for three points against top-of-the-league Jeunesse Esch and he followed that up with a double against Racing FC. An even point gap over Progres in 4th. A solitary point behind 1st and 2nd.
  10. November & December 2025 Not a good couple of months. Firstly losing to Titus Petange in the cup, we were poor in front on goal, Titus on the other hand; two shots, two goals. We outplayed Mondorf for a point, 19 shots with six on target compared to their five and two. Another defeat to Titus, this time in the league, they outplayed us and deserved the victory. Some respite as we secured a win over Mondercange, through on-loan Portuguese left-back Parente. I was fearing the worst against Progres but Veselcic had other ideas with a hat-trick. A very even game; 6 v 8 SOT, 2.23 v 2.10 xG, two clear cut chances each, a draw was a worthy result. We drop from top spot to fourth but we're still going well. We have a six-point gap to 5th place, and European football could be a possibility.
  11. October 2025 Another good month and certainly a good one for Noah Frick. An early goal was cancelled out in the 2nd half against Swift Hesperange before Milord and Frick scored their first goals of the month. A few days later against lowly Wiltz, Frick hit his first hat-trick for the club with Milord scoring the other. A third win of the month courtesy of Frick once more as his solitary first-half strike was enough to defeat Una Strassen. We ended the month with an away draw against Schifflange. Progres have begun to hit form and are close on our tail along with Jeunesse Esch and Differdange.
  12. September 2025 Dudelange were another step too far us, however, again, we dominated them to a degree; we had the most possession, shots and shots on target. They created the best chances and most xG though. Back to winning ways against fellow promoted side Fola Esch, a solitary goal from the penalty spot rewarded us with all three points. We then played in the cup, against lower league opposition in Atert Bissen, which allowed us to play a little more freely, really dominating them with four clear-cut chances, nearly four xG and three times as many shots to them. We're top on virtue of goal difference from Jeunesse Esch a team we have already beaten.
  13. September 2025 We needed a number of reinforcements for the squad, we needed to move away from amateur contracts where we could. We'll break it down by area on the field. GK - Pedro Lopes joins after a successful trial having left Vizela earlier in the summer, the young Portuguese national will be first choice. Defence - a number of upgrades and players in here. Chardonie Ilunga's agent recommended him to us, on an amateur contract at Spanish non-league side Huracan, he comes in as first choice but we'll need to work on his aerial ability and his positioning. He will be partnered by Leon Prosche in an all-new centre-back pairing, the young German arrives having been released by Union Berlin, he has good athleticism and attributes in the right areas. We've also brought in two new full-backs on loan; Aaro Tiihonen joins from Finnish side AC Oulo and Tiago Parente joins from Sporting CP in Portugal. We've also made a calculated gamble on signing Emili Cabello who was released by Spanish youth club Damm, whilst he is a RM we are retraining him to be RWB as that's where I want to move the formation towards when we have the quality available. Midfield - Miguel Goncalves comes in as rotation for DM and Tein vad der Ham was on an amateur contract at Dutch club UNA, Tein immediately becomes a starter midfielder for us. Att. Midfield & Striker - Liechtenstein international Noah Frick joins on a free from Swiss side Montlingen to be first choice alongside Veselcic and Dany de Sousa will rotate in whilst on loan from Mondorf. Just one striker signing in Marley Milord on loan from French side Wasquehal.
  14. August 2025 What a brilliant opening month in the top flight for the club. We faced Rumelange on the opening day of the season, a club expected to finish dead last, a comfortable 2-0 win, scoring both of our only shots on target. Juenesse Canach were predicted to finish a place above us in 14th, we dominated them in their own backyard. 22 shots, seven of those on target with three clear-cut chances created. We achieved nearly four xG away from home. Things got even better as we battered another Juenesse side, this time Esch, they finished 5th last season. The result didn't match how the game played out, it was more even; 2.41 v 2.89 xG, two apiece on the clear-cut chances. It was 2-2 until the 87th minute then we put them to the sword. I wasn't expecting to pick up any points from Racing FC Union Luxembourg, a bumper crowd for us saw us come away with another three points. Probably deservedly so too, more SOT, more xG and more CCC. Differdange were a different kettle of fish, with multiple league wins and runners-up to their name. They've finished 8th and 4th so far in the save. However, we weren't outclassed, both achieving three shots of target, 0.94 v 0.58 xG but they took their one chance. Stop the season now. I don't expect to finish the season within this picture but we'll roll with it for the time being.
  15. August 2025 We're on the eve of the 2025/26 National Division season, let's take a look at where we expect to finish. 15th, As expected for a promoted side. Fola Esch who finished eight points behind us they are expected to finish in 12th. We face Rumelange on the opening day of the season who are predicted to finish bottom. Ideally, we need to finish clear of the relegation spots in 12th but so far we would need to achieve 32 (23/24) and 36 (24/25) points to finish there. If we can finish in either the 13th or 14th place which would see us given the opportunity for play-offs, we would need a minimum of 30/31 points which isn't far off the avoid relegation completely totals. I believe anything above 15th would be a success for the season.
  16. June 2025 Two new sponsorship deals help us massively. Increases to the ticket and season ticket prices will also help.
  17. 2023/24 Season Review Luxembourg Division of Honour - Predicted 9th | Finished 1st Luxembourg Cup - Second Round A totally unexpected promotion to the top flight. To finish the season with an eight-point gap to second-placed league favourites Fola Esch. Top Scorer - Christivi Masombo (25) - big-waged signing but he proved his worth with 25 goals. 24 of those came in the league which saw him come 2nd in the league placing. Most Assists - Andre Moreira (13) - he made the step up to the 2nd tier on a permanent basis and delivered 13 assists from right back. Average Rating - Oliver Veselcic (7.61) - 15 goals and 10 assists in 28(1) appearances. U19 POTS - Jonathan Braun - second season running for Braun, the 17-year-old made 25(1) appearances from left back making nine assists and scoring twice. The money quickly went from black to red as the ticket pricing didn't reflect the promotion/2nd tier. We need the owner to pump some more money in soon.
  18. May 2025 All it took was one game but it was late drama as going into injury time we were 2-2 until Masombo struck two injury time goals to give us all three points and more importantly... We rotated for the Rosport game and suffered as a result but... Fola Esch also failed to win, losing to Hosert meant we were champions at the first time of asking. More rotation followed with a win over Berdenia Berbourg but a loss in the season-ending game.
  19. April 2025 A big opening win for the month, with Veselcic scoring twice and the other attacking midfielder with a goal but also picked up an injury. His replacement de Wit scored twice on his first start for the club in a 3-1 win over Grevenmacher. A shock loss to bottom four side Hosert followed, they deserved it; more shots, more xG and the only clear-cut chance of the game. We ended the month with a win over Atert Bissen to keep the gap at the top and claim a playoff spot. Nine points clear with four games remaining, we can win the league in our next game.
  20. March 2025 A very good month. A comfortable 3-0 win over Marisca, which was fair due to the we only had four shots on target. A crunch match against Fola Esch, a game we dominated on all the metrics and took us clear of the chasing pack by five points. A late 88th-minute goal stole all three points at the Stade Am Deich, which maybe was a fair result as we created three clear-cut chances to their zero. Another 2-1 win over Mamer thanks to the Veselcic / Masombo combo scoring a goal apiece. Masombo was then on target twice more to take his season tally to 21 goals for the season but we failed to take all three points, conceding a 95th minute equaliser. Nine points clear is huge at this stage.
