  1. Quite a financial incentive to try and win a cup each season, it will pay for Thom's goal bonus each season anyway!
  2. 2030/31 Season Review A really good end to the season, we rotated quite heavily each game to give some of the fringe players some game time. League - Winners - Unbeaten with just three draws, 112 goals scored and 23 conceded. Luxembourg Cup - Winners - Jeunesse Useldange, Rumelange, Bastendorf, Jeunesse Esch and Mondorf were beaten en route to the final where we beat Wiltz. Champions League - 3rd Qualifying Round - Lincoln of Gibraltar and Cypriot side Omonoia were beaten before the Swiss side Young Boys beat us comfortably. Europa League - 25th In League Phase - We beat Olimpija to reach the League Phase. We beat Stuttgart and Riga and drew with Basel and Besiktas. Top Scorer - Seth Yeboah (33) - the main man does it again, 33 goals and that includes a 13-hour goalless spell. Most Assists - Thomas-Le Desurmont (17) - surprised to see it was a rotation midfielder who grabbed the most assists. Average Rating - Aiman Dardari (7.56) - I gave Aiman more of a chance at AMC this season and he delivered with 20 goals and 17 assists. We spent some money this season upgrading both the training and youth facilities, as well as improving the junior coaching and youth recruitment to exceptional levels.
  3. April 2031 A busy month but one full of green. It was within this month we won the title again, I believe it was having beaten Wiltz. Another easy game in the cup, beating Bastendorf to set up a quarter-final against Jeunesse Esch which we also won on the last day of the month. The title is sealed and currently 22 points clear. Hapless Progres are bottom with 11 points.
  4. Seems like the attendance has averaged out at around 90. How many season tickets did you end up selling? Even 100 fans at a friendly last month
  5. March 2031 Another good month with three wins from four games. Another Seth Yeboah hat-trick downs Kaerjeng before van der Ham steps up against both Progres and Rodange to score goals in both games. A disappointing fan day against Fola Esch sees the points shared. 15 points clear is quite a commanding lead with eight games remaining.
  6. March 2031 Pap by name and Pap by nature. This is a very poor intake. No new unique nationalities.
  7. February 2031 A solid month back in domestic football. Swift were swiftly dispatched with a Seth Yeboah hat-trick amazingly his first goals in nearly 13 hours of football. Differdange were well beaten and it took until the second half to plunder four past the Jeunesse Esch goalkeeper. 12 points clear now having just beaten 2nd placed J.Esch.
  8. January 2031 We stole a point from the Besiktas game through Veselcic's 74th-minute strike. The 3-0 loss to Feyenoord was disappointing but I'm happy we didn't implode and concede five or six. We're knocked out of the UEL on virtue of goal difference. If we'd lost 2-0 or 3-1 against Feyenoord we could have progressed to the Knockout Play-Offs. A deal which happened way back in September but forgot to update you on was that of selling Luciano to Benfica for just £75k rising to £125k. As part of his contract, it was to allow him to leave, I couldn't risk a mutiny. We also get 30% profit from his next move and a friendly with the Portuguese side, plus we got him back on loan for the remainder of the season. He's now worth £9.8m to £14.5m.
  9. Congrats on the title, good to see the bump in attendance too, I think I saw a 171 in there somewhere. Is that your record attendance?
  10. December 2030 Three games this month before we break for winter. A close game against Jeunesse Canach, a 90th minute penalty stole all three points. A better result against Dudelange with a semi-rotated side, two youth prospects scoring. A solid point from the Basel game in the UEL. Back to seven points clear. We drop two places despite the point gained this month.
  11. November 2030 We advanced in the Luxembourg Cup, beating Rumelange who were relegated from the top flight last season. A convincing 5-2 win over Racing FC largely thanks to a Dardari hat-trick. The draw with Titus means this season is already worse than last season, having dropped points in two games already this season. The gap is down to four points but we have a game in hand which we play in December. It looks a poor month in the UEL but I'm pretty pleased with the performances, to only lose 2-0 to PSV is a good result. We could have won against Rosenborg had it not been for two Yeboah goals being disallowed. From 8th to 22nd, a collapse but we're where we expect to be. Basel, Besiktas and Feyenoord remain to play.
  12. Imagine being the 22 fans that didn't show up to the Corkerhill thriller compared to the Kilwinning loss. Congrats on the promotion!
  13. I think I would have gone with Dalziel and named my manager Pascoe...good title for a thread there.
  14. October 2030 Another good month, three wins from three in the league, we dominated the game against Una Strassen but had rotated fully and had a man sent off after 15 minutes. A comfortable win in the Luxembourg Cup too. Seven point gap to second place already. Just one game in the UEL this month, in a game we earmarked for three points. We comfortably won 5-1 with Yeboah netting a hat-trick. Currently 8th after the three games so far.
  15. September 2030 A month of green in the league. Seth Yeboah got us off to a flier this month with a hat-trick away at Progres. A slightly rotated side beat recently promoted Rodange before some more rotation threw up an 11-goal thriller away at lowly Fola Esch. Yeboah ended the domestic month with two more goals in the win over Mondorf. A small gap has opened over the only other unbeaten side in the league Racing FC. We faced Torino in the opening game of the UEL League Phase and duly lost, I thought it would be the same outcome against Stuttgart but a single goal was enough to beat the German side. Yeboah the goal scorer has been rewarded by an international call-up to the senior Ghanaian side due to his good form.
  16. September 2030 We had to argue with the board to get all these improvements authorised.
  17. September 2030 The first player to join this summer was Ruben Pereira from Portuguese side S. Joao Ver on a free transfer, the young Luxembourg national was previously at Jeunesse Esch and will be a rotation option for DM. We then spent £190k on our new first-choice defensive midfielder Kofi Bekoe, the Ghanaian national joins from Asante Kotoko. I was recommended Lucas Etcheverry last season when he was still at his previous club Aguila but they released him, after a short trial I felt he was too good not to sign, he ousts Cathal Heffernan from the starting XI this season. Last to join was another centre back in Salifou Zoungrana from the Ivorian club ASEC. We parted with £250k for the young defender because we agreed to sell Malte Schulwitz to Hamburg.
  18. August 2030 A busy month with eight games overall. We opened the season with a 7-2 hammering of Differdange, Aiman Dardari notching a hat-trick from CM, assisting two other goals also. Disappointing to have conceded twice though. Between each league game, there has been a continental game also, so we've been rotating, quite heavily in some cases. The rotated in second XI put eight past Swift, including a goal from 15-year-old Joao Nunes who started his first league game for the club, he also made an assist in his 73 minutes on the pitch. A disappointing draw with Jeunesse Esch but they are a team that has done well recently, they've beaten both Canach and Proges already this season. We returned to winning way against Kaerjeng, a slightly stronger XI making sure of the three points with three late goals. Top on the virtue of our dominant goal difference. Young Boys were a game too far for us in the UCL, despite having beaten them before, we couldn't match them eventually going down to a 4-2 defeat and dropping down in the UEL Play-Offs. There we faced Slovenian side Olimpija. a good away performance saw us run out 3-1 winners as we comfortably drew at home to advance to the UEL League Phase once again. Quite a middling set of fixtures, only Riga looks like a good fixture for three points. Maybe we can pick up a draw here or there in the home games.
  19. Quite a cheap deal in that case! Must be like iFollow for the EFL.
  20. August 2030 Brackets and in red means negative right? If so, that means we're paying £32 per season to show our games/highlights on TV!
  21. July 2030 Back to work in European competitions after a short summer break. Gibraltar's Lincoln were up first in the 1st Qualifying Round of the UCL, comfortable away and then home wins saw us into the next round. Cypriot side Omonoia up next, we beat them back in the UEL League Phase in 2028 so we knew we could do it again. Another comfortable 2-0 away win all but see's us through. In the return home leg, it was 0-0 until the 87th minute when Omonoia scored to make the final minutes nervy but Christian Camara netted deep into injury time to kill off any chance to a comeback. We face Swiss side Young Boys in the next round.
  22. 2029/30 Season Review An amazing month to end the league season with. Four games, four wins, 23 goals scored but no clean sheets as the only negative. Hat-tricks for Dardari against Dudelange, van der Ham against Rumelange and Yeboah also against Rumelange. League - Champions - A first unbeaten season for us but we were so close to winning all 30 matches. We scored two goals less than last season with 111 in total but we did concede less with 19 compared to 25 the season before. Luxembourg Cup - Winners - quite an easy run to the final which allowed us to rotate the squad. Champions League - 3rd Qualifying Round - an easy enough win over Shamrock was followed by a shock win over Young Boys. Ferencvaros were too much for us in the 3rd Qual. Round, we dropped down into the UEL. Europa League - 25th in League Phase - We beat Trvana comfortably to reach the league phase. We picked up wins over Crvena zvezda and HJK whilst drawing with Genk and Brondby. Top Scorer - Seth Yeboah (37) - a fantastic debut season for Yeboah who joined from Portuguese side Grijo in the summer. The Ghanaian forward has been touted as being given a chance at International level. Most Assists - Alexandre Sacras (17) - an improvement on last season number of assists (14) from the Luxembourger international left-back. Average Rating - Seth Yeboah (7.57) - along with his 37 goals, Seth also contributed 11 assists and was player of the match on seven occasions. We made another improvement to the club's infrastructure by upgrading the youth facilities.
  23. May 2030 Joao Nunes was given a start in the Luxembourg Cup and rewarded us with two goals and an assist in a 3-1 win.
