  1. September 2027 Just one more player arrives, Jordan Barbalinardo joins for £100k from German side Mainz. He will be rotating with our other right back McIntyre.
  2. August 2027 A really busy month with eight games. Latvian side RFS in the UEL 3rd Qualifying Round up first and had a strong performance, the tie practically over in before half time. We rested and played a pretty much full-strength side against Racing FC, we needed to win to keep pace with the top few teams who were winning and didn't have European games to play. We rotated for the return leg against RFS, we suffered a defeat but we advanced. Back to full strength against Rosport for another league win before we played Armenian side Pyunik in the UEL Play-Off. Two goals from forward Sangare and one from Benslaiman saw us win the first leg 3-1. We struggled against Jeunesse Esch, fitness was becoming an issue for both the first-choice XI and second string. We needed an own goal to pick up the three points but we didn't deserve them. We traveled to Armenia for the return leg knowing we needed to not lose to reach the league stage of the Europa League. A couple of days later we faced Titus Petange with a rotated side and we suffered our first loss of the domestic season, Titus only had two shots on target, scoring both whereas we only had three on target despite having 17 attempts. 2nd behind Differdange. Some tough fixtures in here including the two French sides.
  3. July 2027 In an easy tie against Maltese side Hamrun in the UCL, new signing Benslaiman netted a hattrick in the first leg and Veselcic netted four in the second leg. Serbian side Crvena zvezda up next, a much tougher tie. We managed a 1-1 draw in front of a new record crowd and lost 2-0 away from home, I'm happy with that performance. We opened the domestic season up against Progres. We dominated the club that we pipped to the title last season, restricting them to just three shots with none of those on target. We took our one clear-cut chance and won the game 1-0 thanks to Benslaiman. Early days.
  4. July 2027 Another upgrade for the training facilities.
  5. July 2027 We've gone early on the transfer business this season... We sold Brito to Leixoes, he was kicking off because of the lack of game time. I would rather have kept him but not at the risk of upsetting the whole squad. Eight new players arrive with an emphasis on players from Luxembourg. We were given just over £1m to spend and an increase in the wage budget too. Lionel Amou is not great quality but we needed another left back. We raided Dudelange for Halim Meddour and Mohamed Benslaiman for a combined £60k. The former offers experience in defence and the latter goal contributions with 21 in 54 for Dudelange since joining them. We splashed a club record £150k on Rayan Berberi from Belgian side Standard, when fit he will slot in at AMC. Perkovic and Meyer are young backup options for attack and in goal. Khalil Fayad was an offer too good to turn down, the 23-year-old French midfielder can play both DM and CM whilst having the ability to play in a host of roles. The other player to join was Irish centre-back Cathal Heffernan who was released by Newcastle. He immediately becomes first choice alongside Ablordey.
  6. 2026/27 Season Review We had four games remaining to try and retain the title but we did our best to try not to. We opened the month with the loss against Rosport but redeemed ourselves against Fola Esch with a big win. Mondorf were the highest-placed team we had to play and we bottled it, for the second time this month, we lost at home. We went into the last game of the season needing a miracle, we needed to win and Progres to lose to retain the title. We did our part but did Progres? Progres were beaten by Mondorf 2-0 and we leapfrogged them to the top spot to win a second league title in a row. We finished level on points with Progres but had a greater goal difference by six goals. League - Predicted 3rd | Finished 1st (League Title Table) May also saw us win our first Luxembourg Cup, we comfortably beat Una Strassen in the semi-final before defeating Wiltz in the final thanks to a Belmin Muratovic goal. Luxembourg Cup - Winners Champions League - We beat Derry City and Dinamo Zagreb before losing to Flora Tallinn. Europa League - We were humbled by Djurgardens. Conference League - We dropped down into the League stage of the UECL. We picked up four points from our six games to finish in 30th place. Top Scorer - Oliver Veselcic (30) - Thirty goals from 42(2) games in a great return for the Shadow Striker. Most Assists - Mamadou Sangare (11) - The big forward made the most assists but also scored 20 goals for the club. Highest Average - Oliver Veselcic (7.64) - he's playing beyond his attributes, with 41 goal contributions from 43 appearances this season. U19 POTS - Adelcio Brito - 13 goals and three assists in 16(8) appearances as rotation for Sangare. He's unhappy about game time but has been called up to the senior Cape Verde national team. The board has enquired about turning professional, but I've ignored it in the hope it will go away until I'm ready. We have the money at the moment but we need to improve infrastructure again and increase junior coaching as a priority.
  7. April 2027 A busy month with lots of green but all I can see is that one red blotch; the loss to Progres. We've beaten Mondorf and Bettembourg in the cup this month which sees us into the semi-finals where we will play Una Strassen. We are level on points but ahead on goal difference, just, by two goals.
  8. March 2027 The wins continued to make it six in a row, a new club record. We, unfortunately, lost the third game of the month to Una Strassen. Progres close the gap tp one point.
  9. February 2027 A really good restart in the league with four wins from four games. We've regained the top spot due to Progres drawing twice and losing to Jeunesse Esch.
  10. December 2026 Three games this month as we break for winter. Differdange dispatched with relative ease, we dominated them and restricted them to just five off-target shots. We should have had more than two goals but I'll take that with the clean sheet. We traveled all the way to Kazakhstan to face Tobyl, who were below us in the table for the UECL, the fact we only had one point shows that they must have been quite poor too. I fancied a win but didn't expect to create over 5.5 xG and plundered 21 shots on their goal let alone score seven goals. Oliver Veselcic was the star of the show with his three goals whilst van der Ham notched twice. We ended the month and European campaign with a narrow home loss in front of another record crowd of 2580 against Brondby. We held the Danish giants until the 2nd half when they scored within minutes of the restart, the game was pretty even, both having four shots on target. We're now three points behind Progres after they drew against Mondorf. We ended our Uefa European Conference League campaign down in 30th (of 36) place. I'm happy with the performances, to get four points is a good achievement and something we can build on next time are in this competition.
  11. December 2026 Took some convincing but the board finally agreed.
  12. November 2026 We welcomed Moldovan side Sheriff to Luxembourg and found ourselves 2-0 up after 25 minutes. We conceded before halftime but looked likely to hold on for that first-ever UECL victory but our hopes were dashed when Sheriff scored and injury-time equaliser. We took our frustrations out on Rosport a few days later and came away with a 4-1 victory to keep us within touching distance of Progres. We were lucky to come away from Fola Esch with all three points, an injury-time winner for ourselves this time as we dominated the game and created 3.48 xG but couldn't find the back of the net until then. We struggled massively against Sturm Graz away in Austria, we had five shots on goal but couldn't get one on target whilst the home side created plenty of opportunities and took a couple of theirs. Defeat in the league for the first time this season a few days later as we traveled to Mondorf, a side sitting in 4th place at the time. We dominated possession but again couldn't take a chance, whilst the home side created 3.19 xG with three clear-cut chances. Progres keep winning and that loss to Mondorf has opened up the gap to five points with 3rd hot on our tails.
  13. October 2026 A busy month with the cup games thrown in there. We started the month in good fashion, hammering bottom of the table Bettbourg 5-0, Sangare with a hattrick. We rotated in the cup and came out the other end unscathed against Canach. A few days later, back to full strength apart from Sangare who was away on U23 international duty with Mali. We faced top-of-the-league Progres and found ourselves 2-0 up but Progres scored twice before half time to bring things back level and that's how it stayed Fenerbahce in the Conference League saw a huge turnout of 2200 fans at the national stadium once more. We were blown away by the Turkish side only to fight back with two goals of our own when we were already 4-0 down. A tired side was rotated for the game against Rumelange and we struggled to a 1-0 win where we didn't even allow the opposition a shot of goal. A week later we faced the same side again in the Cup, a freshened-up side won 4-0 with Sangare returning from Mali U23 duty. Still two points behind Progres and we're both still unbeaten.
  14. Thank you very much @LowestLeagueHero I never thought we'd get past Dinamo as we did and when we got the defeat against Flora I knew we'd drop down to UEL but didn't realise you drop again if you lose in the playoff. If we can manage a point from the group stage I will be very happy.
  15. September 2026 A quieter month for us which gave us a chance to rest some players and welcome some back injury. We were slightly lucky against Wiltz, whilst we had more chances they had the better chances to score. We beat Una Strassen by the same result, Veselcic scoring from the spot and a second goal of the season for Klisurica. Our first game in the Conference League ended in defeat to Sarajevo. A mad 10 minutes in the first half, saw Sarajevo score in the 20th minute, Veselcic put us ahead and by the 27th minute things were level again. Sarajevo went on to win the match. Sangare struck twice to defeat promoted Etzella Ettelbruck in a fan day which didn't seem to attract many more fans than normal. 2nd place and still unbeaten.
  16. September 2026 Nine new players come in to improve the first team. Mahamadou Sangare - Started the season with seven goals in 10 games after signing on a free transfer, he was previously at PSG. Liam McIntyre - our new RB who signed for free from Chorley. Belmin Muratovic - surprisingly released by Progres having played 123 league games for them. Straight into the first team at AMC. Roni Klisurica - a rotational signing. Palmi Rafn Arinbjornsson - the Icelandic national was previously at Wolves, he becomes the first choice in goal. Davidson Ablordey - recommended to us by his agent, he joins for free from Ghanaian side Attram de Visser. Dinis Gama - released by Braga, I immediately put an offer in and he joined to be first choice DM. Adelico Brito - another signing from Africa, another recommendation by his agent, the Cape Verdean signs to be back-up for Sangare. Rodrigo Dias - we nearly had a mutiny on our hands, our backup right back demanded more quality at LB, so in came Dias.
  17. August 2026 Despite all the European games we've done quite well in the league too, we've rotated quite heavily in a couple of games which resulted in draws to both Jeunesse Esch and Mondercange. The win over Dudelange was great, with three new players scoring the goals. 3rd and unbeaten behind Progres and Mondorf.
  18. August 2026 Dreadful. I'd rather not have had to play the games, it's ruined the confidence and fitness levels plus injuries to Sangare and Veselcic. Some consolation with £190k for participating. Then...
  19. August 2026 A tie too far for our young side. For some reason, we played this game at the national stadium instead of our own. Maybe that was a factor, maybe it was because Flora are mid-season. We were probably marginally the better side in terms of chances across the two games but it wasn't to be. Another £85k in the bank and we drop down into the Europa League where we will play...
  20. July 2026 What the actual... at home we welcomed the might of Croatia to the Estadio do Cents as a record crowd cheered us on to an unlikely draw thanks to a Oliver Veselcic goal. But, to go to Zagreb and put in a tie-winning performance was nothing short of a miracle. Dinamo dominated the game as expected but we took our chances. Dinamo went ahead in the game early in the second half, maybe resting the whole first XI was key to the comeback as Veselcic scored once again to even the tie-up and take us to extra time where he again bagged another goal to see us through against the odds. We received another £85k for winning the tie whilst we also received around £40k in gate receipts from the first leg. We'll play Estonia side Flora Tallinn in the 3rd Qualifying Round. They've beaten Sant Julia (Andorra) and Sheriff Tiraspol (Moldova) so far.
  21. July 2026 Mahamadou Sangare | Leon Prosche
