  1. This is hilarious. Some of the comments in the review column surprised me tbh. 'an NPC talked about climate change', for example. I must have sheltered myself from the culture war messaging because I didn't even know this was so offensive to these people. Is a spherical earth woke too?
  2. The ones by MasterIgor seem well researched and reliable
  3. The Mac performance has always impressed me in these threads. Tempted by an M4 Mac mini in a few months but worried about excel on Mac (never had a Mac). Off topic but would be keen to know Mac users experience with excel on Mac?
  4. Could be very interesting and defo keen to see how this is represented and plays out for different league
  5. I'm interested to see how women's and men's teams are linked in game. Pretty sure in England they are linked financially. I think the womens team for EPL clubs, as with academy, doesn't count for PSR, for example. I'm sure SI will aim for realism, so would be great to see how structures differ around the world.
  6. Tbh my knowledge of women's football is so limited I wouldn't know where to start. Defo looking forward to some academy saves and learning about the women's leagues around the world.
  7. Love this. Reminded me a bit of Cantona and trawlers, which is never a bad thing.
  8. It's international management, rather than international football, that has been removed. At least that's my understanding. Agree though, adding women's football is really interesting but I imagine many would find it more accessible if international management was an option.
  9. I remember that split too. As you say, the Eidos CM games were so bad. I think they limped along for a few years but gave up eventually.
  10. Being autistic probably helps me. I only have a few narrow interests (namely FM, football and my 🦎 🦎) so I just do what I enjoy 😁. Socialising just gets in the way of having fun! My youngest son is 14 now and has been hooked on FM (and CM, I started him there as it's easier for a young kid) for about 4 years now. I think we can all agree that I am the best parent lol.
  11. FM still feels like it's designed around the old English model of an all powerful Manager. It was fine when playing CM and early FMs, but feels a bit archaic now. I agree, a better representation of the modern structure to include a proper Sporting Director role would be fun. I am actually wanting to find a way to play as a SD (so the opposite to the coach role) but it's so limited.
  12. As a Villa fan, I feel like I might do a Monchi save as a Sporting Director. A save where I sign players. I'm not sure I remember how to :). Am I having a mid-life crisis!?
  13. Cool. Is that the film I mentioned in this post (Africa United)? I've seen the preview and it looks really funny. I checked how Afrika are getting on the other day. They're showing great consistency, in that they're still getting thumped most games! 1st round of cup: The high number of Polish players might be somewhat reasonable, based on some of the things I read recently (its in that link above), but I too was hoping to see more African players coming through. It feels odd being called Afrika, and then having a club full of Poles
  14. Afrika Reykjavik (Iceland) - Season 20 (2043) - FM24 Premier Division - Winners Cup - Winners League Cup - Semi-final Europe - Europa Conference League, League Phase (ongoing) My save in Guinea Bissau has ended after just a season and a half so I'm back to my home in Iceland for our fifth season in the top flight. Domestic and Continental Performances Afrika Reykjavik, commonly known as Afrika, have had an exceptional season in 2043. Based in Garðabær, within the city of Reykjavik, the club solidified its status as the 2nd highest reputation team in Iceland with a national reputation of 2.5 stars, maintaining the same level as last season. In the domestic league, Besta deild karla, Afrika clinched the title, finishing 1st with 67 points, just one point ahead of their nearest rivals, Vikingur R.. 15. Must be those intense Libbyball training sessions!
  16. That save is looking fun. Probably not everyones thing, but I really like the fact that resources are so limited outside Europe.
  17. Im not aware of a workaround - perhaps worth raising a bug report? I tend to control everything, so there is normally something I need to respond to every few days and I never have more than a few messages that I need to skip back and read. In the off season it can be more of a pain, especially if I miss an offer coming in for a coach and come back to find he has left without me knowing
  18. @Neo_Geoforgot to mention that I use this to help move things along a little bit quicker. I don't select the fewer stops in play option as I like to jump in if I see something that needs attention:
  19. I think RUS teams are unable to enter euro comps, unless SI changed something? Indonesia is fun, I'd recommend a save there.
  20. Yeah, a season a week is about the quickest I can progress too, and that's with some instant results and viewing some matches on comprehensive highlights on just over avg. speed (normally continental, big cup games and the occasional important league game). I do handle all contracts, training, talk to players before all games to boost morale, control friendlies (albeit using instant results normally) and have quite a few playable leagues. So I guess that will slow things down a bit. I quite like taking it slow tbh. I find I get more immersed that way.
