  1. Yeah, I'll send you a message. Hopefully you can use this method.
  2. Here's a screeshot, basically it tells the game to put certain teams into a competition before a certain stage of that (or another competition) starts. It allows for a lot more control of what teams are in what competitions: Those secondary divisions are the 'tags' for the regions, just as in your dynamic relegation system it ignores all other regions. This is one of the regions with only 8 levels, the game is told here to add all teams from that region and that level (+ the lowest level, where there isn't a comp for this region) to the competition before the league stage starts. This is setup for all regional competitions, so all teams are 'forced' in the right regional division. I used a group competition to divide the teams in parallel leagues for the same level and region, as in real life there are sometimes 2 or more competitions for that region on that level ([3rd provincial Region X] A, [3rd provincial Region X] B, etc.) As for the contracts: that is strange. Is there some higher level data that could change this (maybe on the country level?)
  3. I used 'other stage rules' > 'move teams to division before stage is created' to force the teams to their respective level and region before the competition starts and I mostly used one group competition per region per level. It seems to work well. One disadvantage is that it is difficult to set real life teams for the first season, but I might find a way around that eventually. For the contracts, I set this up in the data of both the parent competition and the child competitions:
  4. Also, I might have found a workaround for this. But it is not perfect, maybe you might have ideas to further improve it. I have 8 levels in two regions and 9 in all the other eight regions.
  5. I got something like that working. I do have all clubs as semi-pro/part time though. For the lowest leagues I put in that only star players and first team regulars have part-time contracts and then the players of lower playing time are amateur or non-contract. Where do you input that data? I could take a look as to how I did it, it has been a little while.
  6. I just checked if this was the case in my DB, but it seems that there is more of a spread in the generated players, influenced by a few factors. To me it feels natural while playing, so that's ok. Just one more thing, when you speak of setting kits for your team, do you just add their colours and a basic template for their kit (I just put in the same basic kit for all teams with the same colours all at once) or is there another way to mass edit these?
  7. So the yellow is the average CA you use for the players you generate? Or is it the default level the game generates players at? How do you generate that many players anyway?
  8. Definitely haha! I just simplified things an got something working in the end
  9. I've been trying to use a group stage on the level of a parent competition to have more control over which teams are put in what child competitions. Each child competition should take teams from one of the groups, but I have not been able to make the team selection in the child competitions work properly. The teams are not put into the child competition, it seems. What is the best way of setting this up, if it is at all possible? Some more details: The number of teams in each child competition is variable (the group stage has no problem dividing the teams in equal groups) My plan is to use one 'group stage' per region, each group is a seperate division in that region. The teams are divided correctly, but I can't seem to get them in the actual child competition.
  10. I'm trying to fix an issue with regional divisions in an editor file. Situation: The lowest division level of my file has 8 regions with a few competitions per region, for a total of 48 divisions/child-competitions on that level. Those competitions have a variable amount of teams in them, as I'm working with a system for dynamic regional relegation (sometimes less teams from a certain region get relegated from the division above). Regional boundaries are set up and the game proposes the correct regions for all teams in testing. Issue: The game ignores its own proposition for the 'Best competition' in Regional Division Scoring and randomly puts teams in other regions (this causes trouble after a few seasons). I think it tries to even out the number of teams across all child competitions of this level by putting extra teams in some regions. This is, however, not possible. Question: Is there a way to force the game to always use the 'best competition' or can I tell the game to 'reshuffle' the teams in the lowest level, to even out the number of teams (this would then use the correct boundaries, hopefully)? Attached is a screenshot with an example: 'division' should be the same as 'best competition', but it is not.
