  1. Anytime around the 20th suits me, wife and kids are away for a week as of the 21st, Saves me booting them out
  2. Look on the bright side, it's only October, so you can play for another ~ 7 months.
  3. Perfect, something that makes each Individual actually FEEL individual. I can't help stare at my screen sometimes and wonder why I get so invested in these little sprites when they each act, generally speakiing, so alike. Not much differentiates them on the pitch as far as character goes. It's very underwhelming at times.
  4. I Play key, can't say I've seen it. Maybe it's because my head is in my hands at the same time Also, Celebrations need work. 90% of the time the players all stand in a circle clapping like performing seals. Might be a bit hard to do much with what we have, but a proper huddle, maybe 2/3 seperate groups could be added? a "Klinsmann" here and there or a good old fashioned kick of the Corner flag.
  5. My 2p worth on the Graphics in the ME: The Physics are poor for the ball. Ball movement seperate to the kicking animation, Nets moving before the ball hits, its all very jarring and not befitting of an AA game in 2022. Same for players. Skating players, all movement seems the same, especially dribbling and tackles lacking any real "Crunch" Lack of general animations, No players with head in hands after miss, no players on floor tying laces or adjusting shinpads, No asking for a ball from the ballboy. Not major, but would be a nice touch to bring a game to life Pitch and weather effects are poor Stadiums poorly designed and lacking details. My 80,000 seater stadium shouldnt just look like an enlarged Craven Cottage. Crowd is pooly Animated. I could go on, but no one really wants to listening to me moan on a bit. I suppose my main grip is that what IS there, is Shallow. I just want a bit more variety, maybe not a total overhaul just enough to bring it up to a 2022 standard. It gets away with it because its Football Manager and its not the be all and end all of the game, same as Ultimate Team gets away with it every year on FIFA.
  6. Does doing this (Assuming you use Steam): Open Steam and go to the LIBRARY tab. Right-click on Football Manager 2021 and select Properties. Go to the LOCAL FILES tab and click VERIFY INTEGRITY OF THE GAME FILES. or Deleting Cache or Updating Drivers help?
  7. Personally, Royal Antwerp. Good history, Decent club and a good chance of decent Belgian youth. And like you say, a more realistic proposition if that is what you are after. Plus its a league I personally have little experience in, so thats always something new and fun (Sometimes!).
  8. Never knew you could, well I did, but not so easily. So what happens when on first boot the game generates the Sports Interactive/Football Manager 23 Folder? I assume thats not an issue and the game doesnt default to that? Probably Silly questions, but I usually just drop and Drag what I need to the new folder.
  9. Is there any Benefit to this rather then copying files over, bar the time? I assume SOME files may break FM23 (I'm thinking the Competition Colours fix might overwrite the Champions league/Europa league Graphics for example?)
  10. I'd like to see International management improved, for sure, but Like @DP says, the vast majority of the game as we know it is catered for week in, week out football. International management is, for the large part, Sporadic outside of Scouting for players. Not sure there is much else they could add that would make it terribly more indepth, certainly not to a point it would even be close to club football. Its a nice distraction, but not much more than that IMO.
  11. Wait till these "Whippersnappers" find out about Clive Tyldsley on Commentary (Loosely called Commentary)
  12. I have more notepads lying around my desk then my 2 School-age children. I must look like a child, furiously scribbling away. My Assistant Manager (Wife) has no interest in what's happening at Colchester United either
  13. I'm quite looking forward to the additions. ANYTHING new is welcomed and TBH, I would have probably brought it anyway for the sake of £30. Nothing Groundbreaking, but that seems to come in cycles for SI. Will play the a*se off of it for many months as always. However, there are a few things IMO, that have been neglected for too long, mainly Set piece tactics and International Management. Also, I'm old, So give me WIBWOB back
  14. Eh, I'm sure they do, but the Beta hype crowd must still be a sizeable chunk of possible lost sales.
  15. Maybe, its a good thought, but surely a price cap would make more sense to most? Mind you, It is SEGA... Or even just pull it from ShopTo altogether. Sales will, I assume, Massivly tank for them. No Benefit to using them now Whatsoever over other retailers.
  16. Talking of Graphics Etc, I just want less floaty players, poor ball movement during passes and better net Physics. Not a game changer, I know, but they REALLY annoy me.
  17. This is a really odd choice from ShopTo and SEGA. Most probably preorder for Beta Access, and now thats a no-go, on top of SI being "Enviromentally Friendly" in previous itterations, there is now a cardboard box very few care for or need.
  18. I say goodbye to my Wife and Daughters, turn off all the lights, send the cat and dog packing, take a week of work, and gently weep. All joking aside, Shift all my graphics and mods over and play as Arsenal for a week or two till the main release/Day 1 patch and get used to whats "New". Download every Skin I can find as I endlessly refresh T'interweb.
