Fair play to the German media calling the hand ball decision technically correct, but not in the spirit of football. I agree. Danes were very unlucky, even if Germany was the better team.

They've been very positive. The late draw against Switzerland was celebrated like a win, and the narrative is that you need a game like that to really gel together as a team.

Tbf, Wirtz hasn't done anything since the Scotland game. On a good day, Sane can be a game changer, but yeah, he hasn't looked sharp when he came on, so it's a bit of a head scratcher.

Just checked and Turkey has 10 players sitting on one yellow card. With another performance like today and somehow beating Austria, they may have to swap out the entire team for the quarter-finals
