There's nothing to suggest they're banned, just states they are unavailable, and 'isnt going to be registered'. They have FT contracts, 19/21 years old, been there for several months, Turkish nationality. And it has happened to BOTH goalkeepers and no one else!

in that case I do not know...I did not have that issue while playing in Turkiye

I haven't seen this before - I have no senior GK and the two youth GKs it states the following

So I can't register any GK for a full season. Is there a reason why registration is usually not allowed for a season?

they probably got suspended in real life for using maybe illigal substances...check their profile there should be more info there.

    Transfers / Players

You guys have been showing such awesome info I needed to join you and cam up with the overview above. Great season in 1. Lig. We managed to get into playoffs again..so In theory we could have back to back promoted, but we lost in playoffs sadly. Just not good enough yet. With maybe 2-3 seaosns more I recon we could be. We had some amazing players breaktrough into the first team. AKDENIZ the best regen of last seaosn grew in half a year into 4 stars so I had to star him as center back at just 16 years old. ÇALIS and ARSLAN (year 0 regens) broke through into the first team and now both at 4 stars too. While KOSUKAVAK on the wing back is getting there.

We managed to increase the Youth recruitment twice and teh coaching once so hopefully we will be getting even better youth intakes. Our training facilicisties did degrade so that is a pity.

Training degrade / Junior coaching increase / Youth recruitment increase / Youth recruitment increase 2

    Not a bad intake. 2nd year in a row 15 players from Izmir. again 4 4,5 star potentials. A goaly while not needed yet could come in handy. The two midfielders and another wing back will def have a chance for first team within a seaosn or 2. Best two out of the bunch;

TURAN. Good personality in F. Prof. A bit small but could become a great box to ox with alot of training. But with his Determination and work rate I think he will get there.

GABEL. Decent goaly talent. ok Handling but needs work. His work rate does worry me.

Hey guys, i got a question for you. Which attributes from a HOYD actually matter? I'm always aiming for a good personality, but aside that "Working with youngsters" really matter? And judging CA and PA as well?

Check this thread by searching for HOYD. some people have given already anwsers better than what I can come up with.

Maybe we need to sticky one anwser or add the to FAQ?

Just wondering because there was some changes in Polish league and now Second Teams are able to play in 1st League which means that potentially this will make less teams promoted to choose so might be that you need to make some more reloads in game. I don't know if that was implemented in fm23. Same as bonus for playing youth players now is changed. Now teams must play designated time over season I believe 5k minutes to fight for bonus and if you dont reach it you will have to pay fine depends of how much minutes you are missing. There are 3 lvl's of such fine.

I believe they still dont fix it as it was in FM22 but in Poland Winner of u19 league is playing in young Champions League but in FM22 the Winner of top team is sending their u19 team to that competitions. I think that is small but might have nice effect on your youth development.

Are we able to check this in beta?

well  might be good if someone can test it. in my few seasons I did not see any B team promote to Liga 1.

Since @Sn00gle created a big list for Poland, I thought I could do the same for Norway, so here are a few clubs I think could be interesting to play in this challenge.

Lyn Toppfotball - A bit of a fallen giant of sorts. They went bankrupt in 2010 and folded before they were reforged at a lower level and has slowly worked their way up. They've struggled to take the last few steps up into the realm they think they should belong at.

Follo Fotballklubb - They might not be that interesting to everyone, but they are my local team, and I've tried this challenge with them several times, never finishing it. An interesting tidbit about them is that they reached the final of the Norwegian cup back in 2010, beating teams like Lillestrøm and Rosenborg to get there. They were, and are, a part time club, so if they had beaten Strømsgodset in the final they would have entered the Europa League while going down into the 3rd tier, as they go relegated from the 2nd tier the same season.

Eik Tønsberg - Fallen giant is a bit over an overstatement, but the club was a regular top team back in the day, only finishing 2nd as their highest place in the top tier. They are also from Tønsberg, the 10th biggest city in Norway, and the biggest without a top tier team!

Fotballklubben Senja - A club located far to the north of Norway, and on Norways biggest island Senja. I could have mentioned any of the teams from the far north, but I think the fact that they are located on the biggest island in Norway makes them stand out a bit extra.

There, those are the teams that stand out most to me as possible teams for the first season in Norway. No foreign investors or anything like that here, as all sporting institutions in Norway are owned by their members and the boards are elected, so no sugar daddies to be found here.

we shoudl add both lists to first posts to help newcomers to the challenge choose a club :) (and others want to (re) join

I see positive and negatives. Unlike the above poster, I do like the removal of away goals which made for very cagey games IMO.

I do have a question: how are the fixtures generated? There was no draw for the group stage I've just entered (as Arsenal), the fixtures just appeared. It seems I got a lot of tough teams: Bayern, Lazio, PSG, Napoli, Shakhtar and Athletic Bilbao with just Viking and Kobenhavn as "minnows". Would be good to see how these fixtures are decided on. Don't get me wrong, I know there should be some big games but that seems like a lot of games against teams from high-coefficient countries to me...

seesm to be random to be...maybe someone knows?

But my xp so far is that you play 2-3 big teams and 2-3 small ones...so it seems to be based on coefficients

For those who are considering playing in Poland and like a lot of RP and lore, I have prepared a list of several teams that can advance and you can go on! :)

Motor Lublin - A club with a millionaire mr. Jakubas, who is really pumping a lot of cash into the club's development. The money has allowed them to bring in some good players who can confidently compete higher. Start IRL hopeless red lantern, which recently emerged from the relegation zone thanks to a new coach.

Polonia Warszawa - With a French millionaire leading them after they went bankrupt and were relegated to the depths of Polish football. Being at the bottom, they have invested heavily in the academy which has been very successful and bigger clubs are stealing heavily from them. Currently 2nd place in the 2nd division. It's worth adding that they are a direct rival of Legia Warsaw so by playing them you have potentially one of the biggest derby's in the country. 2nd league newcomer.

KKS 1925 Kalisz - A very nicely developing football project that puts a premium on balance in the club. They recruit nicely especially the coaching staff (basically openly which is rather unheard of in Poland). They try to catch local outstanding young players.

Znicz Pruszków - I mention it only because this is where Robert Lewandowski started his adventure as a professional footballer. A club from near the capital of Warsaw. Thanks to this it has a good chance of generating good newgens from all the teams that can advance in Poland.

Kotwica Kołobrzeg - The current revelation of 2-league games in Poland. They broke this year's record of consecutive wins and matches without defeat which puts them in the position of league leader. It's worth mentioning that they are also this year's newcomer. Despite this, they are not from the poorer clubs and are said to have large financial resources. I would say that they are such a club made of unwanted players who, properly guided, fired up. It has good training facilities.

Radunia Stężyca - If memory serves me correctly this is the club with the best training facilities available in the previous FM. This gives you a big advantage and ease in this challenge :)

Siarka Tarnobrzeg - A club worth mentioning. It is a very big pioneer of scouting development in Poland when it was still in the lower league. They put a lot just on its development which results in the sale of young players higher up and on a regular basis. It is worth noting that Mr. Dryś is the youngest head of scouting in Poland who is 18 years old... soo why not :)

Gonna do Polonia Warsaw run for thirs year in a row once the beta is over :)
