If you're enjoying the save then I'd just use the editor to revert your transfer budget back to zero. It's not like you're going to buy anyone.

Did you sign any from the previous season that might have carried over? I know that if you've reached the limit for one season, you can set the transfer date as next transfer window (England) and you can still complete the transfer, with them obviously joining at the start of next season.

Is there an easy way to change this database so that teams in step 7-10 can sign players to part time contracts please?

How do I edit a chairman to be a genuine tycoon. I know that I can change them to be an underwriter sugar daddy but that doesn't always give tons of cash. Are there other attributes I can change to make this more likely to happen?

They are nice sound bites, but actually that doesn't make sense. If the transfer budget was £90m and I didn't get promoted then I could sort of get it, but the club got promoted to the riches of the PL. Have £90m to spend but if you don't spend it then it goes down to £37m even if you still get promoted. There is no way that ever makes sense.

Really enjoying my current save. Took over recently relegated Palace in the Championship and sold over £200m of players while bringing in only £34m. Projected finances looking all good and transfer budget at the end of the season stood at a healthy £90m (they even increased it in January!). Promoted back to the PL and they've given me a budget of £37m! Why? I could have just spent all the budget in January and we would be completely screwed I assume. I wonder if the budget would have still been £37m if I'd have spent it in January. Why am I typing this, I don't know. There's not really a question in here, maybe just more of a vent. I have read comments from people about this sort of thing before but it's never happened to me in a save.

I don't think this needs its own thread but hopefully I can get some feedback on it. Started Sunday League rep (this might be the issue), mid table in NLN, won NLN, 2nd in NL and into L2. Wanted to move on and was kind of expecting some better offers to come in from league clubs. But literally can't even get an interview anywhere. Even clubs which are in the NL won't even give me an interview which in terms of realism feels a bit off. I'm 6th in League 2 so will stick it out for a bit and currently doing another coaching badge, but just wondering if this is supposed to be the case? I feel like from what I read about other peoples non league careers that I should have had at least interviews with teams in the league below me by now.

As PVFC Matt says holiday a few months into the season and see what jobs are available. I done similar and I'm enjoying my current save. Out of all the jobs I got offered were 19th placed Alfreton and I finished mid table and then got promotion the season after.

I've done a Google but there wasn't much in the way of results... which attributes are needed most to play a gegenpress formation please?

I have a question and I figure this thread might be best to help. I want to set up a game where I start with a team in the VNLN or VNLS but change their youth facilities, recruitment and junior coaching up to the max (don't shoot me :D). I thought that holidaying through until March, editing the facilities and waiting for the crop of wonderkids to drop would be all I need, but I didn't get a youth intake. Did I miss something out? Or do I need to take over the team before the youth intake preview to see an intake?

It's a simple rule to live by, but it's effective. Never trust anyone with those logos...

On the flip side, up until this version I hadn't seen big teams resting players for Carabao Cup games. They have on my save.

Off the back of this, the said player will then go and sign for someone else on half the wages he was already on...
