I want to change the ticket prices in the pre game editor but it doesn't work. You can change it up to £300 per ticket but when I do that it reverts to something else based on what the game thinks is appropriate. Is there a way around this?

2nd season with Birmingham, flying in the league played 13, won 12, drawn 1. Closed it down and came back a few days later. 3 defeats, 2 draws in the next 5 games. Coincidence, I know...

It's difficult to keep up with all the posts in this thread so I can see why you couldn't post your massively different challenge results in here.

A team leader wanted a new contract but the club literally couldn't afford his demands so he rejected it. The only option when they moan is to say ''it's not my fault you didn't accept it''. There should be one there to say ''I literally cannot offer you what you want''. Anyway, everyone else in the squad moans about not giving him what he deserves, morale goes rock bottom, team starts losing games left right and centre. The ironic thing after that is the Team Leader that asked for the new contract wasn't performing so I clicked the 'form is bad' option and he's now the only one in the squad with perfect morale!

Always assign to assistant manager or other coaches. The ones I'm forced to do like start and end of season one I click the same options because I know that will work regardless. One wrong click and you've got a mutiny on your hands!

I know this is one that has been around for a number of years but I had another unrealistic one today. Offered a free agent the max I could of £1.7k p/w and he rejected it in favour of £75p/w elsewhere.

There is an in-game editor out there in which you can edit your stadium.

You're confusing real life with a game.

The problem I always encounter with this kind of Wales save is that it's fun building the team up to compete in the league, but once you have a good run in Europe (getting to any of the group stages) it's basically game over. Because the money you get in Europe means you can basically buy the league and you're just waiting for the next season to try and do well in Europe again. Becomes a bit boring.

It says restricted on my game but I've been able to buy and sell players just fine. Currently playing in the Northern Premier League Division 1 Midlands

A few games into the season. Playing as my local team, so much appreciated, thanks. No issues or bugs that are effecting any game play. It's nothing you can do anything about but I had 1 away fan for the FA Cup Extra Prelim game and 4 for the first away game of the season, and the away stand in the ground was packed . I'm not bothered about to be honest, I just go with the number rather than what the gameplay looks like.

Thanks for the advice, much appreicated. I cleared the cache and preferences as suggested. It seems it could be a skin issue though. The game works fine on the basic skin now but the other 2 I have downloaded I have the same issue on both. The only other thing in my head is maybe it's to do with the stadium backgrounds that come in once you click on a club. Anyway, I can play the game again perfect again now so I'll just leave it as for now

I haven't put this in the bug tracker because I'm not sure that it's the games fault but I thought I'd see in here if anyone has similar. The game was working fine with some background and logo packs and 1 other skin going on in the background. I downloaded some different backgrounds, logos and skins along with the level 8 database from here. I then had the game just stop on me and display an error message (didn't screenshot it unfortunately so don't know what it said). Now I can't click on a club to go into their info from anywhere else but the league table for that club. For example if a club name comes up in my inbox and I click on them, then the game stops for about 5 minutes before going to the next page. I've had this laptop for a few years now and played FM on it absolutely fine up until this. Deleting and re-installing everything including the game is next up on the list to try, but just thought I'd see if anyone has experienced anything similar. Thanks

Just for them to add something like a behind closed doors option for friendly matches would be good.

So standard priority then. But considering they aren't scouting anything else, I'll assume that's the only one they are looking for. What other information would be applicable?

It's the only one I've got them looking for. I'm enjoying playing the game, but if something doesn't work as they expect then there's no point putting the blame back on the user. It's not like I'll stop playing because of it, I've just found some loan players myself.

I'm setting for any position, for a loan, minimum 2 star current ability. How else would you like me to set it up if that's what I'm looking for?

I've only just got round to playing some games this weekend and I've started with Crewe, so maybe this is lower league based opinions, but some of the stuff just doesn't make sense. For example, before the start of the match I have people who are injured for like 3 months 'hurt' or 'offended' about the team shape or mentality. The assistant auto picking stupid teams. My most in form player after about 15 games is a 3 star player and whilst fully fit my assistant doesn't even think he should be on the bench. I set my scouts to look for a loan in any position, yet they come back with absolutely nothing. Not one player. The recommendation to change mentality to cautious in what seems like every game despite the scenario being something like my team in the play-offs and playing a team at home who are 22nd. Maybe you could argue most of that is actually real and football is a game of opinions, but hey. I'm happy with the game overall though and hopefully I'll have the time to get some good saves going again this year.

Is this still a thing in 23? I hate seeing the likes of Utd, City, Chelsea etc all playing their main team in the 3rd round of the Carabao Cup against the likes of Mansfield or something.

If there's a tweak to the instant result feature then I'd like to be able to watch the match highlights without knowing the final score.
