  1. Hey guys, I haven't been able to work out a fix for the National League Championship and Grand Final. The competition screen wipes the regional league information for the grand final winning team but the winner and runner-up are recorded in the competition past winners. Statistics and records are unfortunately not displayed in the National League tab and player stats are not separated between the regional league phase and the national league championship and grand final stage. I am hoping that because the New Zealand league is becoming more structured that SI will include the league in its future versions of the game. If someone wants to keep tinkering with my file to address these issues it would be nice to know what is causing these errors. Thanks for the support from the community in the making of this file. It has taken many hours of hard work and input from others in the community to help me along the way. New Zealand National League v23.3.0.fmf
  2. The FIFA Club World Cup file is designed to work with the NZ National League file. The start date of the NZ League is set for 2023 which ties in with the 2022 edition of the FIFA Club World Cup which was played in February of this year. Whoever wins the 2023 OFC Champions League will qualify for the FIFA Club World Cup of the same year going forward. Interesting news has come to light in recent days of a 6 team annual Club World Cup. A playoff between the CONCACAF and CONMEBOL champions with the winner facing the last team standing between Africa, Asia and Oceania's champions, to decide who faces the UEFA champion. That will be interesting if it comes to fruition starting from 2024, because I can adapt the file to run that way from 2024 onwards.
  3. I have resolved this in the forthcoming update. I changed the Phoenix Reserves to a standalone team with a 'B team' affiliation with the Wellington Phoenix and Lower Hutt as a 'feeder team' to the Wellington Phoenix. The only problem left is that after the Northern, Central and Southern leagues finish, the National league screen only displays the Championship tables and Grand final screen and no other information is transferred to the competition screen. Furthermore the competitions screen for teams wipes the regional league information and replaces it with the National League information if the team qualifies for the grand final. I am trying to resolve these issues before submitting the final updated version.
  4. Hi there, I am working on updating the file. I have a couple of bugs to iron out. I can post the OFC Champions League and FIFA Club World Cup here in the meantime. OFC Champions League v23.3.0.fmf FIFA Club World Cup v23.3.0.fmf
  5. As I have been playing a ten year save with the original file I discovered some errors and some other changes that I wanted to make to allow for better gameplay and also to include some changes that have happened with rules around the league structure in New Zealand. I have also updated the FIFA Club World Cup format for 2023 with Saudi Arabia recently been confirmed as the host of the next edition. I would like to thank a few members of the forum who have reached out to me in private and helped out with the file. Your contributions have helped me produce a file that improves the experience of anyone wanting to play in the New Zealand league. I have run a quick 2 season in-game test and have not seen any obvious errors with the three files. The list of changes to the New Zealand league are as follows: - Player registration rules concerning foreigner limits, substitution limits and usage and under-20 player requirements have been updated for the 2023 season, as well as a triple round robin being implemented for the Northern Conferences and Championships. - The 10 team championship phase of the National League has been tidied up and rewards the teams with the 5 best regional league campaigns with an extra home game. The tiebreaker criteria has been updated and goal difference is the next criteria after head to head results. - A minimum stadium capacity of 1,000 has been added for all teams in the Northern, Central and Southern Leagues. - The transfer window of 1 January to 30 June has lots more news coverage of transfer rumours and an immersive transfer deadline experience for the top tier, leading up to the window shutting on 30 June. - I have removed all Scouting Packages for all the teams outside of the Northern, Central and Southern Leagues. Media Policies are reduced to big matches for the divisions in the second and third tiers to not have unrealistic press conferences before and after games. - Awards such as team and head coach of the year, top goalscorer and best young player (under-20) of the year as well as some monthly awards have been added for the National League to mimic real life. Some award histories were also added with real life data. - Phoenix Reserves are now a playable team and they cannot play in the same division as Lower Hutt who are an affiliated team. Consequently Phoenix Reserves cannot be relegated from the Central League and Lower Hutt cannot be promoted from the Capital Premier League. - Phoenix Reserves should always participate in the National League championship but never the Grand Final as they are affiliated with the Asian confederation and so cannot qualify for the Oceania Champions League. - Teams that have semi-professional or professional status and get relegated to the third tier or lower become amateur teams after a year. 6. There was never any suggestion by FIFA to have a 16 team edition. Initially it was 24 and now they are talking about 32. The in game version is 24 teams I believe. If you don't want to use the existing 7 team format just untick my file at the start of a game and it will revert to the in real life system which is 24 teams every 4 years if I am not mistaken.
  7. That seems like an editor bug to me, because I took out the prize money per round and allocated money to the winner and loser of each game.
  8. I am playing a save with the files in 2027 and the group stage of the Oceania Champions League is working perfectly. Did you test out the new Club World Cup file to see if the prize money is correct? I see 10 people have downloaded that file.
  9. Here is the file with the amended prize money to download. It should be as follows: First Place $5,000,000 Second Place $4,000,000 Third Place $2,500,000 Fourth Place $2,000,000 Fifth Place $1,500,000 Sixth Place $1,000,000 Seventh Place $500,000 FIFA Club World Cup.fmf
  10. First of all Happy New Year to everyone. I have had a look in the editor and that seems to be a bug because in the fifth place playoff both teams should get $1,000,000 which I guess is this in pounds, but it shouldn't signal out the loser for an extra payment. I will have a play around with the prize money and see if it makes a difference. If I can get it working better I will make an amendment and submit a new file.
  11. Yes, if you add Australia to the nations index of the Oceania file you can replicate this. I won't be doing it as I wanted my file to be based on the real life setup in New Zealand. The Oceania Champions league and Club World Cup were difficult to setup and I imagine that integrating Australia into Oceania in either file could cause problems.
  12. Merry Christmas to everyone. I have released the final edition of my files with everything working flawlessly between the divisions and teams staying where they should after I put some city boundaries in for each division. Because it is not a dynamic relegation system sometimes a few teams will move between divisions to compensate but in the main part the large majority of teams stay in their divisions. I also updated the FIFA Club World Cup to show neutral venues in the 2022 edition with the real life teams for this season. Enjoy. New Zealand Football League.fmf FIFA Club World Cup.fmf
  13. Hey guys, I spotted a small error in the general competition rules for the league divisions and regional and national cups. Trialists were allowed to play and I have tidied up the age group competition rules. Here is the fix. New Zealand Football League.fmf
  14. Hello to the Football Manager community and Merry Christmas in advance. I have finally got my final edited and tested versions of New Zealand league, along with the Oceania Champions League and FIFA Club World Cup working and mimicking their real life formats. I won't go into great detail about what is in each file as I will leave it as a surprise to those of you who play, but the Club World Cup is correctly qualifying the 7 respective teams and randomly choosing venues. The only small glitch is the two big sides from the Libertadores and Champions League play each other in the semi if the host is a European or South American nation. Otherwise it runs in December of each year because why change a format that isn't broken? The games are played at neutral venues as well. The Oceania Champions League now has the correct format with the preliminary phase played at a rotating central site and the group stage being played at four determined Pacific Island venues (makes it harder for the NZ teams to win every year). The quarterfinals have the first place group stage teams playing against the second place teams with the exception of playing the same team from your group (the real life competition rules exclude this). It is a single leg knockout phase played at the home stadium of the top seeded teams. I included a screenshot of the Auckland City competitions page as I was testing with them to see if the competitions were all working correctly. It is with great pleasure that I can finally offer a quality solution for anyone wanting to play in Oceania and for the people in the community who want a different kind of challenge. I give permission to anyone who wants/needs to use my files in the implementation of their projects. I am aware that @adriano roberto and the Brazilian community are in the process of making their yearly file, so hopefully the Club World Cup can help you guys out. I threw in an updated Florida Cup preseason cup file that is played between a handful of teams from the Americas in January each year. In real life this hasn't started up again but I am sure in future years it will be back. Merry Christmas and I wish everyone the best of luck in their saves. 15. Here is the Club World Cup file if you wanna load that into your game. It should work for the 2022 season with Auckland City playing LAFC (I made an assumption that the host was the USA) in the first game. I didn't have time to test it into the future. When I get back from holidays I might have another go, but at least for the first season whoever is playing with Auckland City can see how far they can go in the Club World Cup. FIFA Club World Cup.fmf
  16. I have made headway with the FIFA Club World Cup as well today. It now works for the 2022 season but thereafter it isn't registering teams in time for the 2023 edition of the Club World Cup. It is because of the Asian Champions League not finishing in time before December of 2023. To permanently fix this the dates in the AFC Champions League file will need to be amended so that the competition can finish before the end of each calendar year.
  17. Hey guys, unfortunately I have not been able to get an OFC Champions League or Club World Cup file to integrate with the NZ League file that I have made and tomorrow I will be traveling to Christmas time. I may come back and have a look at these files when I come back but at least here is the file for the NZ league system. There is a generic O-League file but it will always qualify Auckland City and Wellington Olympic. At least this is what I saw in my in game testing and the FIFA Club World Cup will only be scheduled in 2025. Many hours of hard work spent trying to get these files all to work in harmony. The editor is very frustrating to use and very complicated to get something fairly straightforward to work. I have included the OFC Champions League and FIFA Club World Cup files if someone else would like to have a crack at making these work. New Zealand League.fmf OFC Champions League.fmf
  18. A quick update. I am testing the file in game and it seems to be without glitches. I will look to make a Club World Cup file that integrates with this file. All going well in the next 24 hours or so I will be releasing the New Zealand league file with the updated Club World Cup for 2022 to play in early Feburary 2023 in-game.
  19. I have now got the Northern, Central and Southern Leagues working. It turned out that the Oceania Champions League and Club World Cup files were causing interference. The Oceania Champions league seems to integrate with the file putting Auckland City and Wellington Olympic into the 2023 competition which is correct. I am just fine tuning and tinkering with some things but all going well I should have a final update out tomorrow, then working on a Club World Cup file.
  20. Queens Park are now playing in the ODT FootballSouth Premiership which is the feeder league to the Southern League.
  21. You cannot play with the Phoneix Reserves in the NZ Competition. They are greyed out when you go to select the team.
  22. I have replicated this system but with a few updates and included all the 2022 league promotions and relegations ready for the 2023 season. I included all regional cups with their histories as well and have updated team uniforms as well for the lower division teams. There is a national secondary schools championship that plays in the background each year as well as the new national youth league. I am still facing the same problems as before. I cannot get the Northern, Central and Southern League to not be domestic top divisions when I test the advanced rules. All the intra-division playoffs are working properly and the format is as close to the real life NZ football league from 2023 onwards.
  23. Since the data editor for FM 23 has been out I have been working hard to get a NZ league update out to the community. I have rebuilt the database from scratch and edited a few community files to try to get it all together and working. I believe all the competitions have their correct names and pretty much replicate the real life systems with their actual teams. I have also compiled extensive competition histories where possible as sometimes it isn't always easy to find this information on the Internet. The only thing I cannot figure out is how to integrate the Northern, Central and Southern Leagues under the National League system. Every time I verify the rules these divisions revert to domestic top division in the database and then the division does not show up in the game as there are multiple domestic top divisions. This could be a bug with the editor? I had it working and then this error started happening. I also have not being able to get the Wellington Phoenix Reserves team permanently playing in the Championship phase of the National League. Maybe that has something to do with the team being based in Australia? Other than that I have the Oceania Champions League (real life format) and FIFA Club World Championship (7 team format) working with the file, usually with Auckland City winning the O-League and then representing Oceania at the Club World Cup. I have set the venue for the Club World Cup in 2022 for United States as the venue has yet to be announced but that is the rumour, and from 2023 and thereafter in Japan, as like in old times. I have edited the FM Scout name change files so that the competition names are updated in game. If someone can take a look at the issue with the top divisions in the NZ league file I would appreciate that a lot. Thanks in advance! 24. Hey, To get the Brazilian team names and colours and kits etc to work in FM 23 you need to go into your steam folder and delete some files and add some other files. Go to your Steam Directory on your computer then -> steamapps -> common -> Football Manager 2023 -> data -> database -> db -> 2300 folder Then go to the Inc folder and then the all sub folder and delete: fake Inc; lic_dan_swe_fra.Inc; nleague.Inc Then paste the two files that I have attached below into this folder. I have added the correct league names from my New Zealand league database. Then delete fake.edt from the permanent sub folder which is inside the edt folder. Finally delete four files from the permanent sub folder which is inside the dbc folder: brazil_kits.dbc; forbidden names.dbc; Licensing2.dbc and Licensing2_chn.dbc You should be all set to go after that.
