We have started off well here at Fiorentina, I am really pleased with the results and the performances so far, we look like a team who can compete in the upper echelons of the table and we hope we qualify for European competition. We will face Torino in the next round of the Coppa Italia.

With Everton floundering in the league and things not going quite to plan, I have now left Everton and I have joined Fiorentina who are 8th in Serie A and are more stable. I feel like it was the right time to leave Everton after nearly 18 months in charge, they slashed the transfer budget and I had no money to spend on players in January, so I felt it was appropriate to move on. This is what the Fiorentina squad looks like.

Everton are going to face Charlton Athletic in the FA Cup third round. Also we have signed Gelson Martins and Ryan Fraser on free transfers. We are sliding down the table and we need to avoid a freefall.

Leicester City have approached me to be their manager. I applied for the job after things were very much middling at Everton and it looked like we are consolidating our place in the league. Leicester are higher in the table, but Everton are a bigger club, so I have declined the offer, and it is a hard pass. And also I am building something at Everton and making them a solid club, so yeah.

We have sold Neal Maupay to Cagliari for 2 million pounds. And we also sold Yerry Mina to Norwich for 13 million pounds. It is good to see we have raised money from player sales and when the transfer window opens the wages will also be adjusted accordingly. We have made good progress in the league after our hopeless situation starting off at -10 points last season. Nearly 18 months on, we look like a stable Premier League club.

We have had a steady start in the league and we are doing well enough to be in mid-table. Ismaila Sarr is going to Al Ahli (KSA) for 20 million pounds.

We are currently midtable and we lost to West Bromwich Albion after a promising start in the league. There are a few injuries we have to deal with and we look like a good team moving forward.

We made four signings on transfer deadline day. Philippe Coutinho has joined Everton from Aston Villa for 14.75 million pounds. Benjamin Mendy has joined Everton from Bologna for 8 million pounds. Andre Silva has joined Everton on loan from RB Leipzig and Matt Doherty has joined Everton on loan from PSV Eindhoven. Also Matthew Apter joined Southampton from Everton for 235k pounds.

Two transfers have happened. Ross Barkley went to Real Sociedad for 9.5 million pounds. Ugurcan Cakir went on loan to Southampton. Also the first few games of the new Premier League season have been played and we are in 7th place. We also got knocked out of the Carabao Cup against Preston.

Marko Livaja has gone on loan to Al Qadsiah. Aleksandar Pavlovic has gone on loan to Coventry. Everton will face Preston in the second round of the Carabao Cup. Also we have signed Ryan Gravenberch from Bayern Munich for 10.25 million pounds.

Billy Crellin went to Oxford United on loan. Ishe Samuels-Smith went to Salford on loan. Luis Suarez went to FC Porto for 2.9 million pounds. Duje Caleta-Car joined Everton from Southampton for 47 million pounds. Also, Roman Dixon went to Coventry on loan.

We have brought back Demarai Gray to Everton from Nottingham Forest for 9.25 million pounds. Also Martin Sherif went to Nottingham Forest for 225k pounds. Also, Lewis Dobbin has gone on loan to Wigan. Daniel Maher has gone on loan to Partick Thistle and George Morgan has gone on loan to Morecambe.

Reece Welch has gone to Wrexham on loan. Ellis Simms has gone to Rangers on loan. Vitaliy Mykolenko has gone to Al Ahli (KSA) for 17.5 million pounds. Michael Keane has gone to Universitatea Craiova on loan. We are looking to strengthen the squad this summer and hope that we push up the table in the league.

Yes I get players who would help me now, regardless of their age. The aim is incremental improvement. So whether that can be achieved with a 18 year old or 38 year old doesn't matter.

Some transfers have happened as the new season has started. James Garner went to Leicester City for 19.75 million pounds. Joao Virginia went to Venezia for 475k pounds. James Rodriguez went to Montpellier for 2.6 million pounds.

We finished in 12th place in the league with 46 points. I am really happy with how the season has gone and we look like we can build on this season and do even better next season.

We need a strong finish to the season, even though it looks like we have avoided the drop, we need to end the season well and the next four games in the league will decide that. Britt Assombalonga has gone on loan to HJK.

I can say now that our team is clear of the relegation spots and we will survive comfortably. The 10 point deduction was horrendous when it happened but now we look like a stable team. This is a very strong group of players and I am confident that we can do well at the end of the season as well as in the upcoming seasons as well. The future looks bright for our team. Also Idrissa Gana Gueye is going to Marseille for 3.5 million pounds next season and Billy Crelin has gone on loan to Western United FC.

Tom Gonzalez has gone to Pacific FC for 22.5k pounds. We got a famous win over Manchester City in the league and we will definitely survive the drop this season. We have also got a few injuries we have to deal with.

We signed Ugurcan Cakir from Trabzonspor for 18.5 million pounds. Bryan Fiabema has gone on loan to Wycombe and Lewis Dobbin has gone on loan to Rotherham. Also Burak Ince is leaving the club at the end of the season to join Panathinaikos.

We signed two new players. We have officially signed Luis Suarez, yes that one, for 1.7 million pounds from Gremio. Also we have signed Edinson Cavani from Valencia for 1.8 million pounds. The Uruguayan strike partnership is back, here at Everton. Also we got knocked out from the FA Cup against Millwall.

Yes that is true. We are just making sure we survive in the league this season, and then next season we go for it.
