I've got my local town to the premier League. Can't second last season and semi finals of champions League. Lost in extra time to real Madrid. This is in FM 24. Still going. Most successful save so far. The save is still going. Will be emotional when it ends if we win the premier League and champions league

Tell me about your favourite saves in the past.... The ups and downs.... Was it emotional to end the save?

I play mostly lower league football so excuse me if these things i'm mentioning is commonly known. Firstly I love the Champions League and Europa theme songs pre match! However, the timing is wrong. The theme must be playing while the teams are lined up (22 players in a line) Every real champions league game has the camera going along the players . My little team with 5k capacity started playing in the London Stadium for champions League matches then switching back to my normal stadium in one campaign. My stadium was not in the process of upgrading. Very weird. PS. I hate the new Europe Format. Not a FM criticism but would like to know if its easily edited with the in game editor?

I find that there's a flurry of assists/goals/clean sheets towards the end of the season to get bonuses then a drop off in form the last few games. Not sure how true this is but seems this way from my teams

I doubt many here watch women's football, especially at club level. If you say you do you're lying. Elite football is what majority want. You're not going to find a bowls game that sells so why waste time on it. I know you want to to be that one who's "I'm so nice ... Like me" but you don't watch women's football, no one does and there legitimate reasons why this is. Dont hate people because you don't like facts.

Reporting a post because you don't likes someone's opinion even though the thread was asking a question is ridiculous.

It really annoying that underperforming players who don't get starts moan about it but there's no response option to tell them their performance hasn't been acceptable. Is there another way I can get the message through?

It's just my opinion. The thread asked a question. There's a reason they don't make good money because no one wants to watch teams that can get beaten by boys under 12s. Also the extra processing if you can't turn it off will be annoying.

Hi all, Got my local team from the depths of below the football league to the premier League. First season the transfer budget was 20 million, survived relegation by 5 points finishing 15th. This season my budget was 95 million. I'm already 10 points more than last season at this stage (I dont want to jinx. Fortunes can change quickly) I'm struggling with attracting players. I want some advice of where to look for cheap players which can elevate me. I'm also having to make empty promises to players who are backups for playing time. Endless team leader meetings to appease new contract requests and playing time requests. Also I don't understand this failed work permit slots I can allocate 4 places to still allow players to play. Can this later be denied later? I don't understand

Anyone used a level 7 and/or below and noticed the players are ridiculously OP compared to 2 leagues above? Some of them are League One level. Might be a database thing

Hi, I have successfully been able to remove the Glazers from Manchester United, I cannot see any Sir Jim Radcliffe left on the board to remove but when I load the game database Sir Jim is still there. This is more of a general thing. Not tactic specific.

I'm at a loss of what to look for and how to find it to the point of I am making changes blindly. Some games we have 1 shot the whole first half mean while the opposing team have attack after attack highlight. I am blindly changing from low block, to mid block to high pressing, shorter passing, slower tempo, more direct passing. Where do you look and what do you look for when things aren't going your way? Please help.

Also, all the supporters seem to wear T-Shirts all year round. Even in December in England. Die hard fans

First this: The result

I am playing in English LLM as an underdog promoted from the Isthmian Leagues now in League 2. The below 2 screenshots are the 2 tactics I move between. In most games I am either full on high press or sitting back trying to be tight. One of the 2 tactics seem to be competitive depending on the opposition. I have many questions. Firstly, am I the only one switching to 2 different pressing styles for the same formation? With these tactics I do want to try build up from the back but It will occasionally remove this if we aren't able to play out from the back but generally I am not happy just booting up field to a 50/50 which my players may not be as good at the aerial duels due our fast ascension up the leagues. I do also reduce the passing length and pace down game to game and work ball into the box if the shots to shots on target ratio is not great. I acknowledge the roles might not be great and i'd love some help on roles if you could. One issue I find is that I dont like the gap between the centre mids and the 2 forwards and allows some teams to play in front of my midfielders. On the whole I prefer to keep instructions as small as possible so I can make small adjustments during the game such as speed, passing distance (keep the ball or middle settings on passing), Work ball into the box, early crossing etc. I will also sometimes go full press with attacking mentality as the underdog to try exert aggressive pressure and trying to numbers forward hoping that the better opposition under estimate me. I would like to be able to press aggressively but still be compact between the lines but I'm not sure how to go about this. Sorry that this was a bit unstructured.

In my current save I am in the National League, yet I seem to have the same amount if not more press conferences than Liverpool/Man United in real life. I also get BBC radio five live in my conferences which is silly to me. They wouldn't give a crap who my team is. I do every press conference because I don't know how much of a difference it makes to how the team plays. I don't want my assistant manager saying something stupid that derails a team performance. Is this a thing? Also on previous saves where I would skip all of them my manager profile would show I didn't handle media well. Should I care less and skip? I hate the press conferences. I feel all the needed information on this game is in the forum and not at hand in the game.

I just want to express my disappointment that after buying the FM24 full game on pc I can't play the mobile version without a Netflix subscription. I no longer have a Netflix subscription and do not plan to restart it. I certainly don't want to get a subscription to play the mobile version. Please tell me this arrangement will cease for the next version or tell me a way I can get the game without Netflix?
