    If you load the save game and force the results that see Wimbledon finish 2nd, you will get this news item. Of course, it is not a repeat of last season's performance because the team has achieved promotion this time (2nd so automatic) rather than finishing 3rd (play offs)

    His parent club accepted the extension. I would have thought someone with this profile would be happy to keep on playing first team football for a team 3rd in Championship.

    You can recreate this by using the save 'afc wimbledon poor qa testing from si' and then running it through to 1st may. Cheers

    Is it by design that you can only offer staff a 2 year contract? Or is that the code not understanding that the staff are staff, and not players (board has a policy of not offering players over a certain age more than an x year contract)

    Maybe there is something in the code that is confused by loan options. Screenshot below shows sorted by 'fee'. You can see that Ben Heneghan should be at the top or bottom of the view, depending on whether it is ascending or descending.

    And if you play the save through, you'll see that everyone wage demands triple if you win your last game of the season. Thus meaning the impact of the above is extreme.

    File name is my name and afc wimbledon in the save, uploaded today. Real small suggestion here to cange the last sentence to 'Club have guaranteed their highest-ever league finish........' I imagine the dev code knows there are still league games left for other clubs (playoffs). But the reality is this club have no games left so the sentence doesn't quite read correctly.

    Hi Friends. In my 2nd season with AFCWimbledon in fm24, and trying to extend Jesse Lingard's expiring contract. He's keen, but for some reason my board wont let me pay him more than 4k per week, despite us only being at 50% of the wage budget (50k spend on 100k budget). Has anyone found any factors that can influence something like this to help me get the board to spend more money here?
