in fm23 as in previous years if u do a  touchline shout to only 1 player, u have to wait for a while to be able to speak to the other 10 players.

why is this still working like that? since when irl managers cant give multiple instructions in a short amount of time, for example if u shout to an AMR "berate" due to poor performance and in the next play your left back gets a yellow, u have to wait multiple minutes to be able to shout "calm down" to the left back, its like u have to coordinate different touchline shouts bc your manager gets muted for a while and if u make a shout to one or two players to better cross your fingers that nothing happens for the next 10-15+ mins because u wont be able to shout anything to the other players.

If you click on the player's icon on the bottom row there's an option to individually Shout for that player

This is a really important post that I must admit I have not previously considered. Get further forward, switch the ball to the opposite flank, pass it shorter / longer  etc etc … just do what you’re told!!

I definitely think traits like those should work like Positions, where over time increased familiarity means greater proficiency

Are we back to jerky 3D???

It was fixed in FM22 and now it`s back again

I have a RTX 3060ti that can take any game on high and ultra and can`t play FM23 because of a jerky 3D?

    It`s FM21 and FM22 all over again....

3D ME is running perfectly for me at max settings and 200% render scale, with a GTX 1080 and 1440p monitor. Hopefully it's just a driver issue for you!

  4. Early ME thoughts (only played a couple of matches)

    - ball progression in midfield seems lacking with a tendency to spray the ball wide too much

    - the ball seems a bit too light and floaty with not enough intertia when kicked into the air, feels like long balls should have more power hit into them

    - players are foul-happy even with no hard tackling instructions/PIs set - if they were set I think I'd be getting at least one red card every game

Slightly disappointed to see this is unchanged. I made a feature request a couple of years ago requesting that the size of the picture you have to add nodes to be increased in size, because on a 1440p monitor it's really awkward and fiddly.

On the other hand there is a change to the Create Manager screen - you can no longer Edit Face to change the facial structure like you used to be able to do. Wonderful :)

    Hello,

Does anyone knows if I can run FM on Steam Deck? If anyone one owns one, is it good to play FM thinking in portability? Can I use third party DB on it, just like in windows notebook?

    Thanks,

You can check the list of games verified to run well on Steam Decks here: https://www.steamdeck.com/en/verified
Or check the games in your Steam Library: https://store.steampowered.com/steamdeck/mygames

This is the compatability rating for FM22, so I think FM23 will be fine too:

  7. Judging from Clayts's video covering the dynamic manager timeline, there seem to be events that don't get added to the timeline as much as the player might want.

An early suggestion I have would be to add a button to the bottom of inbox articles (for stuff like transfers, retirements, players breaking records, etc etc) that might not automatically be added, but the player wants to preserve - similar to how you can Keep History After Retirement when you get the inbox message that your veteran player is hanging up his boots at the end of the season.

The button could be hidden behind a Gear icon dropdown menu (like in the top-right of the Scouting update inbox message, where you expand the button for Inbox delivery options) so that you don't accidentally click it.

In the Manager timeline itself, you could then have the option to Edit Timeline to remove items you previously added as you see fit.
