  1. Suddenly not everything can change in one season without any reason. There were problems from the beginning, it's just that for various reasons he was unbeaten. I've learned from my many years of playing the game that if you are having problems on defence, it means your attack is not working efficiently and not putting enough pressure on the AI. If the AI realises that then they will adjust and the wheel will turn in their favour. In every area of the pitch you have to be sure that there is an organised attack. Also keep in mind that playmakers are like magnets. Each role will look for them in the pitch to play with them and if you lose the ball in the middle of the pitch then you turn the AI’s counterattack into a very dangerous one. And one last thing... there is no magic formula that you can win with ease... play with the suggestions I gave you above and you can come back here and tell me if everything is going well or not. @Bahnzo
  2. I will give you my own advice on how I would approach the changes you are asking for in your tactics. First of all, behind IF role there is no player behind him who provides width and support. A better option here would be to change FB to WB on support or attack. MEZ will move in the same space that IF moves and I think sometimes that can be a problem. You can leave it as it is though to observe their combination within matches. An alternative here would be to change MEZ to AP on support. Also it would be good to use one playmaker in your system and not more. So I suggest changing your DLP to DM and change your MCR to CM on attack or BBM. And finally make your DR become a FB because you already have a player who gives width (Wa) and your FB would be more supportive and provide depth.
  3. You don't find it easy enough since you know, if not all, most of the things that happen under the hood?
  4. Very good!! But honestly, I've always wondered... can the developers of the game, when they play the game, enjoy it? I mean, they know everything about the game, so for them it should be a piece of cake.
  5. At first the "famous" positional play is 3-2 and not 2-3. In my opinion its not just those players. You have to take into consideration how your team behave overall and how your team build up. You can see what each role do or dont through their PIs.
  6. I have a question about this. Move into channels and half spaces isnt the same spaces in the pitch? Because AF has move into channels PI hard coded and IF also moves in half spaces.
  7. I think SI measure this differently as irl. This stat measure opposinitions passes in their half and a little after halfway before a defensive action happen by your team. SI measure this on YOURS half which mean how many passes opponents have made in YOUR half before your team do a defensive action but I have experience this too that whatever I do if you play with high press you have high numbers of OPPDA.
  8. When a player wins a foul, why is it considered in the statistics that he lost possession of the ball? It doesn't make sense unless I don't know that's how it is irl.
  9. The last thing I will suggest is to verify your game files through Steam or Epic otherwise report it as a bug.
  10. Are you using Windows or Mac? If you are on Windows open file explorer and copy paste that path I sent you but change the username to yours.
  11. C:\Users\“Your Username”\AppData\Local\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2024\Preferences
  12. Try clear your cache and delete the preferences folder and then try again.
  15. So it's better to use High Press without Prevent Short GK Distribution if you want the opposing GK to play it short and then press them. This is logically correct but do you see it happening in the game and having an effect? Another way is if the opposing goalkeeper is in support or even attack duty then he has "Take More Risks" which will pass short regardless of whether you mark their central defenders.
  16. I'm not sure if I understand what you wrote here. "If you want to press the centre backs and win the ball there, distributing the ball short is exactly what you want." ??
  17. At the beginning I want to say that most of it is in the game. As far as tackles and the equation you use, I don't think they tell the whole story. "Tackles Won Ratio" is the best stat here compared to "Tackles Attempted per 90 mins". Also for number 4 can you give me an example? Because usually the "per 90 mins" stats are small and in decimal format, while the playing minutes are in the hundreds or even thousands. So for example if we have a number for the first one e.g. 2,3 GAA/90 and 1000 minutes of playing minutes then the result would be 0,0023. A more correct formula here would be to do the total goals conceded by the goalkeeper by dividing them by the amount of playing minutes and then multiplying the number by 90. For example: (80 goals allowed / 2500 playing minutes) * 90 = 2,88 per 90 mins
  18. An honest question... Why there are stats in the game since they are not exported correctly inside the Data Hub?
  19. You can save set pieces routines as a separated file.
  20. Just use “Roll It Out”. It will not happen every time btw. ST which doesn't press DC in this scenario is an issue from FM22.
  21. @Aoyao you want to learn how to make that goal kick or how to get your forwards to press this goal kick?
  22. That's why i mention llama3 who is the creator of this article
  23. What does football have to do with the changes FM devs are making to the game? For example now they have removed the hard coded instruction to WB and W to run wide with ball and the graphic above shows that it is not a good combination.
