  1. One thing that amazes me in this kind of thread is how nobody even mention sounds. FM sounds in-game are TERRIBLE, even worse than the graphics. They improved a little bit, but it's still awful. Of course, when you are playing in an empty stadium, it makes sense to hear ball noises, referee whistles and stuff. However, in a packed stadium it should be different, according to the country. If I'm managing in England, I want to hear the English-style chants (it doesn't need to be real chants, just something that resembles it). If I'm playing in Argentina, I want to hear the instruments and feel like the crowd is going crazy. Even those trash flash games from 2009 like Goalkeeper Premier have better sounds compared to FM.
  2. they are just trying to kill each other in training at this stage
  3. Hello! I'm playing with Audax from Brazil. Started in the 3rd division of Sao Paulo state league and now I'm in the 4th season, managed to get our team in the state 1st division and Brazilian 2nd Division. Our facilities are great and I'm always looking for young and talented players to fill our U20s. However, I use a set of attributes to see if a player will fit in my system, with some exceptions between positions. They are: Passing, First Touch, Technique and Dribbling (technical) / Concentration, Decisions, Flair, Work Rate, Positioning/Off The Ball, Teamwork, Vision (mental) / Acceleration, Agility, Balance, Stamina and Speed (physical). I'm being very succesful with this approach; however, I simply can't find young players with good concentration. I have done a search with all U17 players available in my save and only THREE of them have 15> in this attribute. And they all seem like future gems. Limiting the search to players that would be willing to sign for my team, I could only find 3 players with 12> concentration (one of them seems pretty decent, to be fair). Is this supposed to be this way? Concentration will increase with time and I shouldn't be worried? Because I can find a lot of good young players, but they always have like 5, 4 or 3 in concentration. Kinda weird.
  4. My team would be: Borjan (Canada) Oviedo (Costa Rica) Khoukhi (Qatar) Rudiger (Germany) Lamptey (Ghana) Boudiaf (Qatar) Buchanan (Canada) Pellistri (Uruguay) L. Martinez (Argentina) Cheddira (Morocco) Almoez Ali (Qatar) Manager: Kasper Hjulmand (Denmark)
  5. You guys are learning today how VAR works in Brazil. Referees just let the game continue almost everytime, if it's a pen he'll be called to see it anyway.
  6. Who's been the best? Spain did a great job against Costa Rica - obviously, a very much weaker opposition, but nobody was expecting 7-0. Who's been the worst? Qatar was awful, Ecuador has his strength in home games (due to height, like Bolivia). They were playing away in the sea level and even then battered the hosts. I'm expecting total humiliation against Senegal and Netherlands. Biggest surprise? Saudi Arabia. They are too weak, but their defensive tactical performance with high lines and fierce tackles was outstanding, they really were in their limits against Argentina. Don't know if they'll keep the pace against Poland and Mexico though. Biggest disappointment? Argentina disappointed everybody, but I think this was due Saudi merits and their anxiety. I was expecting more of Uruguay, their game against South Korea was absolutely awful. Subs made by Diego Alonso were so bad and their team looked like a mess sometimes. Who's going to win? Brazil, of course. And Gabriel Jesus is going to score his first and only World Cup goal ever in the final.
  7. CLUB ATLÉTICO BELLA VISTA - 2023 YOUTH INTAKE Mixed feelings about this intake. Three good players in Richard Hernández, Miguel Alonzo and Gonzalo Prieto, they have good personalities. Hernández lacks technical quality, but is super quick. Alonzo for me is the best player of the intake, well rounded and he has a lot of room to improve, specially in mental attributes. Prieto also has a lot of things to improve, but being a good shot stopper already is something that makes me happy. I have also signed with Nicolás Araújo, Tiago Fernández, Giorgio Rizzo and Matías Martínez.
  8. CLUB ATLÉTICO BELLA VISTA - Introduction Finances | Staff | Manager Profile Trying this challenge once again, this time in a country that I have never managed before: Uruguay. The chosen team was Bella Vista, a traditional club from Montevideo who spent a lot of years in Uruguay First Division - they even won the league in 1990 - but in recent years struggled financially and dropped to the Third Division. Now they are back in the Segunda División (Second Division) and I'll try to guide them to glory, Bella Vista had a lot of famous players in Uruguay, most notably Egídio Arévalo Rios, who played in 2010 and 2014 World Cups. Bella Vista host their games in the José Nasazzi stadium. Board expects us to survive, but we need to have at least a mid-table finish if we want to stay without scare: Uruguay adopts the Average Points (Promedio) system for 2 years. The good thing is: youth intake happens in pre-season and we'll have enough time to prepare them for the season. Here's our youth intake preview. And this is our current squad: 3,5* and above players are rated good enough for the league, but we'll surely need improvement to survive and I'm looking to quickly develop two or three youngsters.
  9. Thank you, now the game opened. I've tried the troubleshooting, but it didn't helped. I'm playing with Xbox Gamepass, somehow I've needed to uninstall FM22 to make FM23 open.
  10. I can't start the game, it keeps loading eternally. Where can I get some help?
  11. Hello, don't know if this is going to be included in FM23, but it would be nice to have coaches specialized in set pieces (like the goalkeeper and fitness coaches). And also psychologists, but I have seen this being requested so many times before. Set pieces coaches should be able to directly influence the quality and variation in our set pieces. Of course, you can still have a good setup if you don't have a dedicated coach, but they would be an extra. Didn't even knew that this role existed, but saw reports that the club I support hired a set piece specialist to work with the players. Hope that this is already being considered!
  12. Hello, I have a simple suggestion, but it would be useful if we were allowed to copy routines in set pieces. I have designed this defensive corner routine, but I want to create a second routine that changes the AML position, as I want him to be upfront alongside the AMC sometimes. To do this, I need to save the routine, create a new one and then load the original. It would be much easier if we were just allowed to copy routines, like we do with tactics. Another thing that would be useful: copy the same set piece routine in more than one tactical setup. Thanks
  13. Hello, I'm trying to negotiate this player called Brandão. After getting interested in an attacking midfielder, I offered his club a simple exchange deal, and they accepted - then I have negotiated contract terms with the player, who also accepted. However, Brandão refused to go to the other club. I thought it would be better to make an offer for the attacking midfielder again, this time without including Brandão in the deal. They accepted, and when I went to talk with the player... I needed to negotiate everything again. Why? He already accepted the terms I offered. Of course, someone is going to say: well, what if he suddenly changes his mind and wants more money? Alright, this can happen, but just include an option called Use previous accepted terms. If the player thinks it still fine, he'll just accept the deal and you'll save a lot of time. If he wants improvements, then you go back and negotiate again.
