Become a part of the Research Team, do a great job, and finally you will have your free copy.

I’m not asking for a free copy. I’ve purchased every FM since 2008, FM mobile since 2014 and an Apple Arcade subscription for the past year for FMT23 on my iPad. I have no issue paying £40 for the game. My issue is the recent trend of expensive subscriptions to play the “lighter” versions of the game

  2. Sad reality is that there are many many upset and disgruntled FM mobile players who will be boycotting, but to be quite Frank, SI won’t give a flying **** because they’ve already got their money from Netflix.

Never saw FM going the way it’s going but I’m pretty sure over the next few years the series will be viewed the same as FIFA and NBA 2k etc is now.

Hopefully over the next few years someone else will come along and create some improved competition for those of us who don’t have time to play the full game and are done with the constant subscriptions, lack of communication and transparency etc.

They are just seeing if they can pull this off. They are testing this thing with the Mobile version to see how it goes, how people react, and if things go well they will implement this on the full version.

Because why people should be paying a one time fee when they could pay 2x or 3x more in monthly installments?

I happen to have a Netflix account, but I will not play FM Mobile 24 and I really hope people to understand what's at stake here and boycott the new version.

Exactly my thinking. Apple Arcade last year, Netflix this year, and a “brand new” FM next year. I guarantee it’s not a one time buy either, they have been testing the waters the last 2 years.

  4. Anyone else worried about the future of FM in terms of how much it will cost us as players in the future? With the news about Unity charging developers per install and the latest apple arcade and Netflix subscriptions, I really do worry that from FM25 onwards it will become an expensive subscription service.

I know gaming is changing, inflation etc but 2 years ago you could buy FM for roughly £35, touch mode on IOS for £20, and mobile for £7. 2/3 years later and its now £40 for the base game, a £60 yearly subscription to play touch mode on Apple Arcade, and now a £60 Netflix subscription to play Football Manager mobile.

for those of us who don’t have the time to play the Full FM experience (family/job etc) I feel we really have been punished. With the withdrawal of Touch Mode on PC 2 years ago, to now having 2 subscriptions for Touxh mode and Mobile that is now almost twice as expensive as the cost of the base game. I really do worry about the cost of FM going forward.

If we've understood it correctly it does seem like a strange decision. So the game is basically 'free' if you have a Netflix subscription but you can't purchase the game from the Google play store?

I have a Netflix account, I have done for years, but I would be tempted to boycott the game purely on principle.

I’m with you on that. I’ve had a Netflix account for years, but for others that don’t they’ve basically increased the price from £10ish to £60+. Absolutely disgusting. With this and the withdrawal of touch on iPad with Apple Arcade, I may finally be done with FM. Greed has corrupted SI it seems to me. Shame.

I took a job back in England for the first time in 20 years in my save. What are the top tactics to avoid getting fined for ill-discipline? I have a decent squad, potentially top squad.  Didn't have to worry about this crap when I was in Italy.

Just remove Get Stuck In instruction. Doesn't change anything for me other than less yellow cards

Safe to say that WOF 424 PSG P112 really does work at all levels.

The below was the final league table for the VNS, took over Dulwich Hamlet (predicted tenth) with them bottom of the league on four points (P11-W0-D4-L7) and four goals scored. PPG of 2.62 would have had around 120 points over the season, and would have scored around 135 goals.

Made it to the FA Trophy final but lost 3-1 to Wrexham (xG was higher than theirs, just unlucky with finishing/Wrexham very overrated on FM) after beating two National League sides on the way.

Scrapped a lot of the team because they weren't good enough, signed as many players with good pace, acceleration and decisions as I could, and this is the National League table after 12 games. Oh, and we scored six goals at home against relegated Doncaster Rovers, which was nice.

Plus also generated the most xG (4.6 NPxG) I can remember seeing in a league game - just let down by some hilariously poor finishing.
