I'm seeing an increase in injuries but they're mostly between games.  I haven't touched the training settings.
Also seeing many more penalties it seems; we miss 3/4 of ours but they don't.

Every year it seems to me that they try to increase difficulty with each patch, but do it in lames ways like increased injuries, overly clinical opposition, AI team goalkeepers playing like prime Buffon etc

    Hi folks,

Looking to start a new save once the winter update is out.

Want to try using a 532 tactic with a defensive  DLP as the main man.

Any advice on which clubs have the best suited squads for a 532, happy to hear any suggestions from your previous experiences.

Any league any country, happy to try anything.

    Thanks all.

    @knap

Could you please provide me with a link to the P98 tactic?

Basically, I love the traditional 442 formation. You know, 2 wingers, 2 central midfielders, etc. That is why I loved that WARRIOR tactic.

I don't know if the current ME allows for an effective 442 tactic.

I’m with you on that. Switched to a flat    4-4-2 on FM19 and never gone back. Sometimes use a 4-2-4 with IF as well

Have the player development, and regression with age changes been implemented into FMT at all?

2032 here and not a single regen has made it into the top 3 of the GOAL50 awards, with Mbappé having won the last 6, and still holding a pace/acceleration of 18 at the age of 32. Top teams and international sides also seem to still be chock full of 30+ year olds.

    • 14 players in their 30's in the latest England squad (and only 2 players under the age of 24)
    • 20 in the latest France squad (and not a single player under 24).
    • 15 in the latest Italy squad

Development of youngsters (and/or regression of older players) was the biggest single issue with the game from the original launch, and from this (admittedly small sample sized) test, it honestly doesn't seem to have gotten much better :(

Please tell me this isn’t on the latest update?

I’ve gone back to FM21 on iPad. The game is unplayable for me until they fix the lack of player development, and the incredibly annoying player search returning you to the top of the list each time you tap on a player to view.

I find the lack of updates really poor from SI, these major issues were raised weeks ago and nothings changed.

    Lack of player development?

This update will be primarily stability related fixes for people who are having issues - gameplay tweaks (in the main) will come in a later update.

(and so long as your tactic is 'sensible' you shouldn't be overly adversely affected by match tweaks ...)

Sounds good to me. Game is always great year on year but this years especially is fantastic 👍 top work

ok thanks,  my team is expected to be 5th so a tactic for sub-top.  But your not there with testing, that's wy i asked.

Probably different now but on FM19 I used the Beowulf 4-2-4 (wingers) with Dulwich Hamlet and won every league consecutively on my way to the Premier League. Was a lot of fun. Think knaps tactics still effective at all levels
