As a base, if they offer 50% I ask for the other 50% at least in fees, that used to work for me. Since my earlier post I have found that making my demands compulsory, they sometimes agree, it's still mucked up my loan system. Even League 2 teams will only take them as fringe players, EDIT it seems it only happens with lower league teams, Ath Madrid just offered important player, 60% and 150k playing for a player.

I don't think there is a button, if there is I have never found it. Usually a member of my staff will tell me that the conditions of the loan are not being kept. Then I have the option of talking the other manager

Exactly the same for me Statboy. Before the patch I was like D Dave, could often get 100% plus a decent fee, not any more.

Are you for real? you cant miss who he plays for if he has a club, it even tells you if he is unattached

All that does is confuse me. In all my years in IT, if I suggested leaving just Windows Defender running on our machines, not only would I have been laughed at, but probably sacked. W Defender is good basic protection but still falls short in some departments, like phishing and DNS filtering, if you are not using other MS products.

I currently mess about with positioning, marking and such, but leave the takers and players in the actual positions to my staff, with quite good results so far. Believe me, when you get used to it, it is much better than the old way. I used to get so infuriated when setting up the old system with players jumping about all over the place and changing roles, it was like a game of chess most of the time.

It happens with me, If other clubs are interested and I really want the player, I have to up my offer quite a bit. This happens more with young players (16/17) turning me down to stay where they are on very much lower wages.

This happens far too often in my game, I check all my players contracts at the start of the season and renew before it gets down to 18 months. If it goes beyond 18 months, a few of them say they are going to explore their options at the end of their contract. I have lost a number of very good players to frees so now when they say this I sell them as quick as possible because it's hard to change their minds. Looks like it's catching, I've just had an 18 year old potential wonder kid on a 3 year contract say he was going to "explore his options" after just one year. And if you are wondering the vast majority of my squad love me very very much 🥰🥰🥰

Same here Gouranga. I get the same response as you from the Board when I ask them to raise wages for Physios, I can only offer them a few hundred below what they are already earning. I have to wait until they only have a month or few weeks left on their contract, then I can offer what I want. This only happens with Physios.

I'm with Jonny here, I don't remember that ever being in the game in the form you mention, that doesn't mean it wasn't in the game, if it was, I never found it and used it. The nearest in the game now, I would think, is the "Opposition Instructions" screen.

C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2023\graphics If you have tried everything I would save my game save somewhere safe and reinstall everything, extreme maybe but it might work.
