    Every season I have players across my squads, saying that they only have 18 months left on their contract, and as such they would be considering their options. Some of those players will eventually negotiate, but I have lost some very good players. As you say, shame it doesn't happen the other way round.

    I have my keeper on roll it out to the back 4 and that's what he does most of the time, It's a "bug" I've never come across.

    A long shot: If you had it set on a number of rolling saves try loading a previous save to see if it works, I have mine set on 10 saves and to save every week just to be on the safe side. For a bit of overkill my saves are backed up automatically everyday. I'm sorry if my advice doesn't work and I hope you get it sorted.

    Good question. I have just tried it as I am managing England and West Ham in the same save. You can not play your own team in a friendly i.e. England V West Ham, but you can play other non international sides. I was able to arrange a friendly with PSG, but it would not count towards world rankings and the players would not receive caps for it.

    It happens to me at the beginning of a long turn save when I haven't had time or money to upgrade my facilities and they fall below the required standard. I usually win Premier league 2 Div 1 only to get relegated to Premier League 2 Div 2, the same happens to my U18's. Keep an eye on Board Requests and upgrade everything you can

    This happens to me. It aways happens when I am a few points in front at the top of the Premier. 3 or 4 up at half time, then I'm lucky to scrape through with a draw, all my important player ratings go down to 6, when I sub them other players go down to 6. Then after a few games I am a few points behind in the league and everything returns to normal. I know people keep saying nothing is scripted, and I believe them, it does make me wonder sometimes. SI's AI gone mad perhaps?

    So every time something like this happens you start a new game do you? If you do, there is nothing to stop you using the editor to make real life changes and restarting a new game.

    And today they were deducted 10 points, do you really expect SI to react to everything as it happens in real life and issue patches?

    My under 21's won the Premier League 1 but were put in PL2 due to my facilities being down graded, so maybe the same happened to you?

    The more successful you are the more money they want when renewing contracts. I would do the usual first, beg the board for more money. If I was unsuccessful there, I would sell them and try to buy replacements from lower leagues or cast offs from the big guys. Failing that you might end up like a lot of teams that hit the big time only to spiral back down again, that is if you keep your job long enough.

    250 mb from my Beta save, I could delete it but I have become quite attached to it for sentimental reasons.

    Might be an idea to tell people to stop filling the bloody thing in, to be told at the end sufficient reply's have already been received. It just cost me 5 minutes of FM time I will never get back.

    You still can't play another team from the same association in the new Swiss Model (36 team league) It is a bug that you should report.
