  1. You've not answered the question, though. How have they performed on your FM compared to the teams they've faced IRL already. I don't care about how well they've done IRL, we're talking FM here.
  2. How have they performed against the teams they've faced IRL? That's a better comparison, as IRL it's nowhere near a full season....
  3. The Scarborough goalkeeper came out to meet a long ball that had been missed by the defence, but then decided to let the ball past him for the striker to score in an empty net. There was no attempt to collect the ball, or even maybe letting it into the area for picking it up.
  4. Whatever people think, it won't change when it comes. As always, "Early access is normally available roughly two weeks prior to full release". FWIW, I would say it'll come on the Thursday just over 2 weeks before release (19th October).

  6. Imagine a striker that can shoot with both feet - you're better off having someone with Finishing 15 (for both feet) than another striker who can only shoot with one foot but has Finishing 20. He's more likely to do better across multiple games. An IRL example is Anthony - how often does he use his right foot to cross? Very little. Even if his crossing attribute is in the high teens, it's more effective (in general) to have someone with a lower crossing attribute, but can cross (nearly) equally well with both feet.
  7. They freely admitted FM24 is what FM23 should've been. If you can't justify the price, don't buy it...
  8. Yeah, it's not variable PA, it's a bigger difference between actual PA and perceived (scouted?) PA at the point the player is released by the bigger club. Players then surpassing what was expected to be their PA (but wasn't) later in their careers - presumably due to regular first team football at the lower level, rather than age-level football with a bigger club, and working their way back up to their actual PA.
  9. The roadmap for each release says week commencing rather than a specific date.
  10. I mean, people could have worked around this by buying their own copy of the game and use it for however long they liked. How many Gamepass users would've bought Gamepass simply because of FM being on it, rather than already having it and essentially getting FM for no extra cost.
  11. If you don't buy FM24, you may just be able to download the public demo on release, and convert the save to FM24 ready for FM25. Unless they don't offer this feature in the demo...
  12. Just keep requesting every few months, it goes up in stages
  13. Without 100% confirmation, I would say so. All the data is saved in the save game file
  14. It's their way of hopefully avoiding the finances going back to Insecure.
  15. New FMFC blog from Miles: https://www.footballmanager.com/news/football-manager-2024-feature-rollout-and-new-partnerships
  16. Do I need to prove that more than the handful of people who've commented on this thread have bought FMM 23? If less than 5 people bought it, I don't think FMM24 would even be in conversation. You are reacting to a headline, have been told the decision will be explained shortly, but still choosing to speak for the FM Community yourself.
  17. I don't think SI's budget would stretch to all 1500+ researchers getting freebies every week 🤪
  18. Depends on the team you research for, and it's fluid throughout the season making transfer/contract/attribute updates. No other benefits other than a yearly free copy...
  19. Nothing like speaking for the vast majority of FMM players who have yet to comment on this thread. It's very possible that SI may have been boycotting FMM 24 themselves, without Netflix stepping in to help out - which is something I'm sure Miles will talk about in his upcoming.
