  1. You can't correct that club. And the answer is unknown. There is a pending data update for the Chinese league, but it's uncertain whether they'll change other league's data.
  2. If your senior team plays a match on the same day as your B/youth team, but earlier, you still cannot ask your players to play for the B/youth team as the whole squad becomes unavailable as soon as the senior team match starts. They'll only play if you demote them, but that's just asking for trouble. This is something I've seen in FM20 and it's still here. Just fixing longstanding bugs like this would make the game much better as they influence the real gameplay outside the ME where the majority of players, I assume, spend most of their time playing this game.. It's frustrating to see issues like this year after year. I'm generally satisfied with the ME chaos we have this year, but long balls are ridiculous. Both in quality and quantity.
  3. Be positive towards players and don't start fights/criticise them.
  4. Yes, sometimes it does feel like it has a bigger impact. Especially if you're destroying your league and play continental competitions against stronger oppodition.
  5. And they should be punished for that rather than rewarded. Gegenpress in itself isn't an unrealistic tactic one can classify as an exploit as it's probably the most known tactic currently in football. The problem is that it's giving unrealistic results with players who shouldn't be capable of pulling the tactic off and that's something SI should address. When it comes to the game being too easy/hard, I think of the major problems is actually morale managment. Morale has such a big influence on your team that, if you know all the tips and tricks, you'll basically never suffer because the game provides you with enough morale boosters to recover from bad results. On the other hand, if you don't bother with tiresome and unrealistic praising training/conduct, with carefully avoiding conflict with random players over random BS and with summoning a team meeting when your team's on a positive run, you'll suffer greatly no matter how good your team or tactics are. This can be realistic at times, but I believe it's exaggerated in FM. This is still a game and micro-managing under the threat that everything will turn against you isn't all that fun.
  6. I've read most of this thread and I think that something that hasn't received enough praise over here is heading. It's much better than in previous iterations as now there's no power-headers that fly all over the pitch as if the player volleyed the ball and they generally seem much more natural. The direction of headed passes and clearances is also much better this year as players now try to find a teammate with their headers. They aren't always successfull, but at least they're trying and aren't sending balls into throw-ins or no-man's land all the time. Yeah, something's wrong with this. Most players apparently don't want to play football if they start on the bench. Even fringe players in official matches.
  7. I remember Roko Šimić was known as the Croatian Benteke in one of my FM22 saves, but I guess that was an exception.
  8. The player from "The next [good player]" feature doesn't have to match the younster's nationality so it could be the Arsenal's Pepe or the other Pepe in Porto.
  9. The first picture is showing a right corner and the 2D one a left corner.
  10. You're to old to play only when you can't work with the mouse anymore. Just enjoy FM. It's a hobby just like anything else.
  11. Currently, adding installments to your transfers doesn't directly influence your transfer budget, which makes them a cheat as you can have a transfer budget of 0 and splash out hundreds of millions in installemnts for new players. On the other hand, incoming installments don't improve your spending power as the game doesn't recognise them as the part of the transfer fee. I think a way to make this more realistic is to have a planned budget for the next three seasons as you can pay and receive installments up to three years in the future. The planned future budgets would be based on your financial projections and incoming installments and would be negotiable with the board just like current and next season's budgets are now. This would make the game harder and more realistic, but would also make incoming offers with installments more appealing as those would properly influence club budgets. Thanks for considering this request.
  12. Hi. While transfer and contract negotiations aren't a part of the game that's too buggy, I think there's still major room for improvement in this area which would make the whole process more dynamic. My first suggestion would be to make it possible to conduct transfer and contract negotioations simultaneously as this is something that can definitely happen in real life. Especially when the deadline is tight and all three parties are interested in a transfer. The way this would work is pretty simple: the first transfer offer should have a twofold response. One response for the transfer offer itself and another yes or no response to allow or forbid parallel contract negotiations with the player. This would also make it possible to change the unhappiness system for transfers. While currently unhappiness is triggered as soon as you reject a bid, even when the bid is laughably low, now the player can stay calm even if you reject a few bids but allow contract negotiations to start as by doing so you're showing the player willingness to let him go. Furthermore, if the player isn't happy with the contract negotiations, he might not even become agitated if the buying club pulls out of the deal even though he initially woud've made a fuss about not being able to leave your club for a bigger club. On the other hand, if transfer negotiations get dragged out or you reject one bid too many, the player might still become unhappy and do all the usual shenaningans unhappy players do at the moment in-game. This could also happen with players who weren't too interested in a transferin the first place, but the buying club offered them a surprisingly good contract. Another interesting thing that could be added to complement this suggestion would be the option for the buying club to ask the player to put pressure on the selling club in a bid to lower their demands. Then the player would either go through with the request and make a fuss or get mad and reject the contract offered out of respect for his current club. Something that should accompany this first request is to make accepted transfer offers permanent in a way. I believe there is no need to cancel the transfer as soon as the player rejects the contract and force us to reenter transfer negotiations when everything was negotiated and both clubs were happy with the deal. I know most times you just have to resend the same offer again, but sometimes the selling clubs want more money and you are forced to start from scratch which is annoying. Of course, if other clubs make bids, the selling club might want more money for the player, but that should work in the same manner a player's agent can now contact us and ask for improved contract terms when other clubs offer better contracts to the player we're trying to sign. When it comes to conducting transfer and contract negotiations, I believe we should have more chances to strike a deal than we currently have. Some clubs and agents are very impatient and you only get 2-3 chances to make them accept your offer before they either pull out or give you a non-negotiable offer. This makes it seem like real-life negotiatians are a five minute chat after which one of the parties says **** you and leaves. More back and forth would be welcomed as currently it's hard to find the sweet spot without having to deal with constant non-negotiable offers and clubs asking you to submit an official offer which they'll reject because you don't have a clue what they want. In addition to this, it would be great if a rejected contract offer by the agent wouldn't trigger a 2-3 week sulking period. I really don't understand why this is in the game, but a better system would be if the agent would just ask us to talk again in a few days when our offer isn't good enough. And only after trying to negotiate a deal a few times should the agent come with a non-negotiable offer or ask us to give our best offer. The same thing should happen with transfer talks, after a few prolonged back and forths, the selling club could conclude that negotiating is, for the time being, hopeless and give their final demand. And my last request is to remove non-negotiable fees and clauses. I'm not saying there shouldn't be something like this in the game, but there should be more flexibility. Currently both we and the AI can start transfer or contract negotiations and immediately mark something as non-negotiable or remove it from negotiations. A better system would be to mark certain fees and clauses as "preferrable" or "non-preferrable", which would make it clear what makes the deal easier/harder to negotiate, but would also leave room for the other party to still try and strike a deal even while offering non-preferrable clauses and fees. Another neat feature alongside this would be if clubs and agents would make suggestions regarding preferrable and non-preferrable conditions. Something like: "While we understand that you are not inclined to accept a 30% perccentage from profit of next sale clause, offering such a clause would make us inclined to accept a transfer fee of 15M instead of the 22M we're currently asking." or "We do understand you are not willing to accept a 10M release clause for my client, but we urge you to reconsider your stance as my client would be willing to accept a much lower wage if you include such a clause in his contract." Thank you for reading all of this.

    Loan-backs

Loan-backs are a great introduction to FM. I like them a lot, but they still have some room for improvement. It would be helpful if we could offer loan-backs, just like loans, outside of the transfer window. It would also be nice if we could ask the agent if the player is interested in staying at his club or get that info on his transfer offer page. Thanks for reading this.
  14. Could we please get an option to forbid the assistant manager from adjusting our training schedule after fixture rearrangements? He usually does a terrible job and just makes it harder for you to fix the training schedule. Thanks for considering this request.
  15. If you're playing in Latvia, Croatia, Poland, Czech Republic and a number of similar leagues, your transfer windows end at a later date, usually after the registration deadlines for the continental competitions group stages/knockout rounds have passed. Currently, the players you're trying to sign don't take those deadlines into consideration when they're deciding on your contract offer and will happily take a day or two longer to make a decision than to play continental football for your club. It would be great if players would be aware of those deadlines while deciding on our offer or if we could, at least, have the option to remind them about said deadlines when we try to convince them to make an earlier decision. Thanks for reading this request.
  16. I'd like to suggest a few things that would improve the way preseason works in FM. 1. The first thing is to give the manager a chance to select when the preseason starts. I know the game sometimes does give you that option, but those dates are fixed and out of context. What I'm suggesting is to always have the option to pick a starting point of your preseason on your own, just like you can set reminders for your notes. This way, the player can enjoy the benefits, or suffer the consequences, of a longer/shorter preseason rather than the game just picking a random date that all too often doesn't give you enough time to prepare for the new season. It would also be helpful if the inbox item asking us to set the start of our preseason contained the dates when the club's competitions start. Even if you don't implement the first part of this request, it's always useful to know when does the league start and when is your team entering cup and international competitions before the preseason starts rather than having to wait for that information to become available during preseason when the league fixtures are drawn or the game creates the season that's about to start. 2. The second request is the option to control when players on international duty that miss the beginning of preseason join the team. I don't want to see my players a day after they played their last match on an international competition at training, I want an inbox item that notifies me immediately after that match that the player has been knocked out of the competition/has played his last match. That item should also prompt me to manually choose when the player will join the team. Additionally, if, for example, I choose that one such player joins the team only a few days before the first match of the season, which means that he's missed the whole preseason, I should be able to force the player to undergo an indivudual set of preseason training for a week or two, during which he doesn't participate in the first few matches of a season. This would prevent players that miss the preseason from being too prone to jadedness and fatigue in the new season. 3. And the last thing are training camps. Since training camps aren't only a way of avoiding unfavourable weather conditions during preseason, every club that is at least semi-professional and isn't financially in ruins should have the option of going on a winter/summer training camp. Depending on the money the club has, the player could choose between a number of local, regional, national or foreign resorts. Those camps could also have a star rating of their own. The more stars the resort has, the better the facilities are and, subsequently, the better the clubs are that are available to play friendlies with at that resort. The price of the training camp would also increase with every half a star more the resort has and the amount of players could also influence the total cost of the trip. Also, just like with the preseason, the player should be able to set the start and end date of the training camp on his own. It would also be useful if we could ask players on international duty/extended holiday to join the training camp at a later date. If I recall correctly, that wasn't possible on FM20 and that just doesn't make any sense. Another interesting training camp option would be the ability to send a player home to train with the B/youth team if you're unhappy with his conduct. That should, of course, come with the risk of making the player or the rest of the squad concerned/unhappy, but it would be an option that would allow the manager to assert himself and put pressure on the player to drop his concern. Thanks for considering this request.
  17. When your senior team and a youth/B team play a match on the same day and the senior team is the first team to play, all your first team players become unavailable for the B/youth team match, even though you haven't picked them for the senior team and have made them available for the youth/B team match. This should be changed because it unnecessarily complicates squad management. Either only senior team starters and benched players on the tactics screen should get unavailable for the other match, or players made available for the youth/B team match should automatically become unavailable for the senior team. Thanks for considering this request.
  18. One of the few things that are immersion-breaking for me is having 10 clubs interested in one of my players in March, but not making a bid until July because that's when their transfer window opens. It would be great if clubs would start making "unsolicitated" transfer and loan offers outside of their transfer window. That would make the game feel much more dynamic because you would be forced to deal with transfers and possibly unhappy players all year round, which adds to realism. Thanks for considering this request.
  19. As the title says, I'd like to have the option to sub off a player that got sent off in a friendly. That's standard practice in friendlies and it would be great if it gets included. Thanks for considering this suggestion.
  20. I've just held unsuccessful contract extension talks with a player and decided to decrease his playing time to "Surplus to requirements" because he values himself way too much and I'll have to let him leave as a free agent. After he became concerned about his playing time, I noticed that none of the options given in the chat fit the context. It would be great if we could tell players that we're not planning on playing them/giving them desired playing time unless they agree to sign a new contract on reasonable terms. The player's reply could then either be disagreement or a promise that he'll agree to lower his contract demands. Here are a few suggestions for the new chat options: "After our last unsuccessful contract extension talks, it became apparent that we cannot come to an agreement on the terms of your new contract. Therefore, you will leave the club at the end of your current contrat and I cannot justify giving you the playing time you want." "Since there's only a short time left on your current contract and you are not willing to agree to the terms we have offered to you in your new contract, I cannot give you the playing time you want as you'll leave the club in the near future as a free agent." "Unless you agree to sign a reasonable contract with us, I will not play you and you'll leave the club when you contract ends." "Unless you agree to sign a reasonable contract with us, I will not play you and will be looking to sell you in the near future." Thank you for considering this suggestion.
