[FM24] Stuniverse's FM24 Adventure - Norway adventure

For strikers I like Ante Juric personally the best. He doesn't have the best finishing but his determination is off the charts and his mentals and physicals are all-around good. Plus he's young so could still get better. -

120k plus capacity would make it one of the biggest in the world... although by 2095 maybe it's just average. -

Tough way to go. Looks like you had your chances but the other club's attack was relentless and your side just couldn't find the net. Still, head held high for a good season. -

I think the saying goes "the grass isn't always greener".... but like Punch said it's your world, you have to do what feels right to you. Me, personally, I go with what feels right... but a lot of that is predicated on how I feel the save is going and how I get along with the board. I left Oldham in an "older" save because I kept getting told no when I wanted to fix things and the board refused to do anything to better the club. I felt like I was going nowhere so much like what would probably happen in real life, I left. There was a part of me that wanted to stay because my goal was to fix them and get them back to the Premier League but I try to be somewhat "realistic" in my saves and follow what I think would happen in real life as much as possible. I have a Scunthorpe save in mind as well due to how fast and far they have fallen since being in the Championship just 12 years ago and now in the National League North. I believe that they have fallen the most levels the fastest in English Football history. That sort of stuff intrigues me... but I want to save Notts first, if possible. -

Irish, but whatever, doesn't really matter. I'm glad you found some stands! -

I think attendance at that stadium might be an issue. -

I'm rubbish on the defensive side of the game as I generally prefer counter-attacks and forward formations. However, when I have had to park the bus or play more defensively I generally go with 5 in the back with 2 wing-backs, 3 in the middle (or 2 center-mids and a def-mid) and then 2 up front... either a striker-shadow striker combo or you can go striker with a center-attacking midfielder so that at least you can continue some pressure up front. But as Punch said a LOT depends on your personnel. If you don't have the guys to play the positions, trying to play them doesn't work very well. -
THE FIRST 2 MONTHS: RECAP SCHEDULE So taking away the 2 losses in the Carabao Cup and the Pizza Trophy... it really wasn't a bad first introduction to League Two. It could have definitely been better but it could have been far worse. We won our opener and then got blasted in our 2nd match. But after that we sort of settled down and played the sort of ball I know we can... only allowing more than 1 goal in one of our next 5 league matches. Overall we went 3-3-2 so I can't complain at where we're at to start the season, which puts us at 10th on the table. Wrexham is sitting 18th for those wanting to know, but they had a very slow start last year as well before turning on the after-burners. Quite honestly if we can hover around this spot for the next few months while our youngsters are learning to play together... then I like our chances to finish strong in the league. If nothing else an upper-half finish should cement us as serious contenders next year. This is all very early though, we have a long way to go. THE TABLE
