  1. I play all competitive games. I leave freandlies to AsMan
  2. IFK Lidingö season 26 | 2049 swedish premier division No major sales during preseason. We started the season in swedish cup with a great run to the final. League season also started well and we were around 3rd or 4th place for most of the season. In May it was finally time for our first ever cup final. We were the underdogs against BK Häcken who made it to the cup final fifth time in a row. In the first half Aydin Şahin 38A scored to give us the lead. Our lead lasted untill 79th minute when they equalled the game. extra time was goalless and penalties were waiting for us. Victory in penalties means we have won our first major title. It also means Europa League will be waiting for us this autumn. League season continued pretty well and we finished 4th meaning we will be heading back to continental football next autumn. We occasionally had problems scoring goals and ended up scoring 13 goals less than expected. Europa league has started well with 4 wins from our first 6 matches. Squad Jonas Schaaf 41E has been in good form in midfield. Joel Andersson 47A is our best defender and he luckily has a contract untill 2053 as he is unhappy and wanted by some big teams. Aydin Şahin 38A was again our best goalscorer with 11 league goals. Youth intake This must be the worst intake ever. Bora Altintaş 49A has potential nd height to be a target or even CD. Niclas Sletsöe 49C might have potential to be a fringe player at some point. Transfers A lot of upgrades this year history
  3. Club icon Jonathan Sletsjøe 30A deceided to end his career after last season, two years after turning grey haired. he's the only club icon we have produced. He's also club record goalscorer with 125 league goals. he playd most of his career as CM/AP. At his Peak We now have a new u19 coach
  4. IFK Lidingö season 25 | 2048 | swedish premier division Preseason No major sales during preseason. We had a nice run to the quarter finals in swedish cup. We are also steadyily rising in bookmakers ratings. We were now predicted to finish 14th. League League season started decently. After a few round we found nice form and stood brilliantly on 3rd position with 6 round to go. Then we collapsed and only took 1 wictory and 4 points from our last 6 mathces and dropped to 5th position. It's still the best finish ever by a big margin ( 10th was tge earlier best finish) and might give us continental football next autumn (if some of those 4 above us wins the cup). summer transfer window meant some sales. I wanted to get rid of Viktor Niklasson 36A and Rasmus Ohlander 35C. They didn't play much and both had bad personalities. FC Porto also came in with a big offer for Jörgen Sundberg 44A. So our first choice right back was of with around 8M€. Board agreed to improve training facilities with some new money (will be finished after the season). Squad Aydin Şahin 38A was our top goal scorer with 16 lague goals. Jonas Schaaf 41E was in a fine form in midfield with 5 goals and 6 assists. Joel Andersson 47A made massive improvements and climbed into a regular starter. Youth intake Our HOYD deceided to leave for some managerial job just 2 weeks before the intake day. I was in a bit hurry to find a new HOYD. here's the new one Intake was nice potential wise but personalities are not lacking årofessional players. I see a good trend in determination and some ambitious ones as well. Robin Sandström 48A stand out as best prospect. usefull winger who can play anywhere in attack. Victon Mörfelt 48B looks like he will be retrained as CM playmaker. Niclas Lundqvist 48C is a farly promising midfielder. transfers After the season board once again took some more loan and deceided to expand our stadium. this is the third expansion since moving to new stadium in 2044. history
  5. my HOYD must have great persuation skills to get him to the club he dislikes so much. A decent youngster, not a big deal if I lose him.
  6. IFK Lidingö season 24|2047 swedish premier division Preseason Apparently it took me around 10years and 6000h to figure out you can change shirts for an excisting save:) Bayern München came in with a huge offer for our young playmaker Magnus Karlsson 43E. He's off with a record fee of 13,5M€. Board accepted to improve our youth facilities an youth recruitment. A little bit help from the press was needed. In swedish cup we finished 3rd in our group. League League season was pretty solid. we finished 11th with record points haul 40. Middtable was really close to each other and we were never really clear from relegation playoffs untill final few rounds. Squad Aydin Sahin 38A was the top goalscorer of the whole league with 16 goals. last season I changed him from AML/IF to play as AF(at) and that has work wonders. he wasn't performing on the wing and our other strikers were really inconsistent in scoring. James Kyambadde 34A and Jonas Schaaf 41E played fairly well in the midfield. Youth intake A nice intake. finally we got some taller CDs. we've been lacking CDs over 175cm in past 5 intakes. Joel Andersson 47A looks really promising. he can play as CD or CM and could be retrained as DM. Markus Billborn 47B is a rather pacy fullback/winger. Dan Björk 47C also a quite promising CD. Transfers Board deceided to take another loan and further expand the stadium after the season. history:
  7. IFK Lidingö season 23 / 2046 | Swedish Premier Division Pre season was fine as we were able to keep all players in the team. Only a couple of fringe players were sold. After promotion back to the highest tier I was supprised to see we were not rated last by the bookmakers. I guess it was the first time in premier division. In cup we finished 3rd in group with 3 draws. League started brilliantly with 19 points from first 9 rounds. Then once again it al started to collapse and we only won 3 games from our last 21 rounds. Fine early season was enough to keep us on a decent 11th place with 34 points. Squad James Kyambadde 34A and Magnus Karlsson 43E were impressive in midfield. Aydin Sahin 38A was our top goalscorer with 8 league goals. Our long serving core of CD Jesper Bergtoft 30E - DM Christoffer Söderström 29B - CM Daniel Rynell 29C - CM Jonathan Sletsøe 30A have declined to (useless) backup options. Söderstöm is club league appearance leader with 428 caps. Sletsøe is club top goalscorer with 125 goals. Youth intake A nice intake with couple of high potential players. David Perić 46A is DC/STC, a combination I haven't seen too much in youth intakes. He's a bit short for a CD role but he could still grow or he could need some retraining as midfielder. Theo Normén 46B is a promising winger/midfielder with nice finishing so he could even make it as a striker. Martin Westman 46C is a winger with high acceleration. transfers Board decided to expand our new stadium. Not sure we needed more debt.
  8. I'm in 2046 and the best penalty taker I ever had was 9 I guess, current taker is at 4. best at corners was 12 and free kicks mayby 10. In long throws I've never had anyone half decent. Edit: best ever free kicks was 11.
  9. usually intake previews don't tell that much. this time I really hope they don't. My desktop crashed and ...well.. this was the preview before the crash. looks pretty good. But after the crash as I replayd those 4 days missed (no matches just practise.) I wish I had saved the game right after the first preview.
  10. IFK Lidingö season 22/2045 - swedish 1st division elite Despite dropping to 2nd tier we were able to keep our key players in the team. I was a bit supprised, I tought someone would leave on relegation release clause. Season started with cup group. We were dropped by goal difference once again. League season was pretty constant and we were allwasy fighting for promotion. Finally we finished the season 2nd only two points behind Sundsvall. 2 automatic promotions so this in just what we needed. In xg table we were 1st around 5 points ahead of Sundsvall. Squad: Third choise GK Leif Reuterswärd 42E was loaned out to premier division side Örgryte IS. He gained 29caps in the highest tier and developed nicely. (Ösgryte was dropped with only 17 points from 30 games.) Jonas Schaaf 41E was our best player by ratings and 9 league goals scored. Aydin Sahin 38A also scored 9 league goals. Mustafa Hodzić 41C had a couple of nasty injuries and Hassan Billborn 42B played more matches as GK. Defence was really solid and we only conceded 27 in 30 games, lowest in the league. Jonas Andreassen 37B and Oskar Waldenström Soldati 41B were impressive CDs in this level. Youth intake decent intake. Once again the best prospect is a GK! Jonatan Johansson 45A looks promising. Andreas Nilsson 45B is a promising winger with fairly professional personality. Peter Andersson 45C could develop into a handy wingback. Transfers finances took a little hit as we played in the 2nd tier. we should still be fine. Our new stadium was opened and we saw a massive increase in attendances despite dropping to 2nd tier. Youth facility improvement the board accepted last season was also completed.
  11. IFK Lidingö season 21 / 2044 swedish premier division during preseason we sold our best defender Jonas Hermansson 40B to Borussia Dortmund for 1,8M€ + 50% clause. Jonas Hermansson even made it to top wonderkids list. Our first choise GK Viktor Strandlund 32B had a release clause 110K€ and so he went to Djurgärden IF. Christoffer Forsgren 40A was promoted as GK and I had no concerns about GK position with him. he had great stats but he couldn't just reach performances of our prewious 2 GKs Simon Didrik and Viktor Strandlund. during mid season Bayern München came in with a great offer for Forsgren and it was just too good to turn down. so he was sold for 5,5/6,0M€+50%. This meant we played the remainder of the season with our preseason 3rd choice GK Mustafa Hodzić 41C. On the field season started with our best cup run so far to the quarter finals. it didn't help us long as we were doomed to ralegation battle. I tought the team player fairly well but just couldn't win matches. our strikers were in terrible form and from 3 player rotated as strikers Viktor Niklasson 36A scored 1, Petter Eriksson 37P scored 4 and Alexander Backlund 39A scored 5 league goals. we also conceded way too many goals. in XG table we were on 9th position with 38 points but our lack of goals and inability to prevent goals dropped us to relegation playoffs with only 28 points. In relegation playoffs we faced Varbergs BoIS. first leg away and we were under some pressure and they managed to score 4 goals with just 8 shots. things were looking horrible as we traveled home with a 4-1 deficit. in home leg we dominated them totally but we kept our underperformance form from regular season and we are going down with a 3-5 aggregate. I still can't believe they scored 5 goals with only 10 shots (8 on target) and we only scored 3 goals with 30 shots. Squad. No real highlight in a miserable season. James Kyambadde 34A was the best player. Jörgen Nilsson 38B was our best defender. They were both on international duty during relegation playoffs! Chistoffer Söderstöm 29B became the club alltime appearance record holder, overtaking legacy player Hugo Lemne, and has now 399 league apps for the club. Youth intake was nice. Jörgen Sundberg 44A and Ted Jakobsen 44B are mayby the most promising youngsters. also one guy with perfectionist personality and decent potential. Finances are looking good after two major sales this year. we also had youth facilities upgraded with this new money. The new stadium was completed after the season and we are movint to new IFK Lidingö Stadium with 5750 capacity. A couple of our players have an active relegation release clause so some of them might be leaving, but I hope we have enought depth to cope with that. transfers A quick bounce back to higest tier would be nice.
  12. I was offered an international job. was the rule like no international jobs until completion? I'm declining the job anyway.
  13. IFK Lidingö season 20 / 2043 (swedish premier division) A solid season out of relegation danger. Finished 11th with our record points haul in highest tier. In cup we finished 2nd in our group. I'd call it a slight mut steady progress. Squad: Daniel Rynell 29C and Viktor Niklasson 36A were our best goalscorers with 7 league goals. Jonas Hermansson 40B developed into a solid premier division defender and he was sold to BVB after the season. Jörgen Nilsson 38B was one of seasons top performers but sadly his development has halted. James Kyambadde 34A is now a good Premier division midfielder and has 33caps for Uganda. Aydin Sahin 38A has developed nicely as well. 2nd choice GK Christoffer Forsgren spent the season on loan in a fellow premier division side Brobbapoijkarna. Youth intake: pretty happy we got some outfield players this time. Rikard Sandin 43A is a promising looking winger. Tomas Lemne 43B looks like a promising fullback. Magnus KArlsson 43E with his professional personality might develoe into a solid player for us. transfers: no major sales this season. Finances are not great with current loan interests ( for upcoming stadium). facilities are the same as before. I hope the sale of Jonas Hermansson 40B dosn't hamper us too much going forward and we can stay clear of relegation. summary:
  14. Does anyone have a good formation to field six goalkeepers? I might need a one after a couple of seasons.
  15. IFK Lidingö season 19 / 2042 (swedish premier division) Second season in the highest tier was once again a full season of relegation battle. Good late season form saved us from relegation. 10th place with 34 point is the highest so far. in swedish cup group stage we were 2nd with 6 points from 3 games. Squad remained pretty much the same as last season. no major sales. For the first time since breaking to the first team in 2030, Club icon Jonathan Sletsjøe 30A has been dropped from the starting 11. Daniel Rynell 29C and James Kyambadde 34A were our best midfielders. Viktor Niklasson 36A was our top goalscorer with 10 league goals. GK Viktor Strandlund 32B was an important player as well. Youth intake was good. not so many elite prospects but a lot of good prospects to help with squad dept in a few years time. James Britton 42A is a promising looking winger. With Hassan Billborn 42B we now have around 4-5 high potential goalkeepers. Adrian Svanberg 42C has nice potential and personality, but has a lot of work to do with his skills and physics. Transfers Construction for our new stadium has started and facility upgrades from last season have been finished. Finances are OK. with current Premier division price moneys we are pretty even with expences. Summary
  16. IFK Lidingö Season 18 / 2041 First season in the highest tier started brilliantly. In cup we were dropped in the group phase by goal difference. League started wery well with 15 points from the firts 10 games. a lot of goals were scored and conceded as the goal difference was 26-23. then we suddenly lost our form and only took 1 point from the following 10 matches. So the relagation battle was waiting for us. Late season team managed to get a couple of crucial wins and make it to the relagation playoffs. In the first leg against Åtvidaberg we were the better team xg wise and in possession as well, but we could't take advantage and draw 2-2. Second leg at home was a thriller. they took the lead 59th minute and it looked like we were doomed to relegation. Our pain lasted untill 84th minute when James Kyambadde 34A scored to tie the game 1-1. Narrow survival on away goals it was. Mid season we sold our best player Johan Svensson 37A to Napoli (Parthenope) for 1,1M€+50% clause. after a couple of months clause was sold for another 5,73M€. He's probably the best player this club has produces so far and by far the best transfer. Josip Kalinic 28F scored 12 goals. Jonathan Sletsjøe 30A had the higherst rating of regular players with 7 goals and 4 assists in 16 (+8) caps. Jörgen Nilsson 38B was our best defender and Jonas Andreasson 37B was called back from loan as Johan Svensson 37A was sold. Viktor Strandlund 32B has developed a lot as our GK, but he still doesn't perform at high level and we conceded around 20 goals more than xg projected. Youth intake provided us with some new goalkeepers. not a bad intake but I'm not sure we need 4 GKs with 5star potential. Oskar Waldström Soldati 41B is really promising looking defender with resolute character. Jacob Mellström 41A, Mustafa Hodzić 41C and Axel Freij 41D could all make it as well and I wouldn't count Jonas Schaaf 41E out either. transfers Allready in preseason the board announced plans to build a new stadium. I guess it's a good plan as we sold out 14 of our 15 league home mathces. Finances are looking good and we made a healty profit regadless of facility improvements. Youth facilities were upgraded twice and training facilities once after the season (so upgades should be seen next season). summary
  17. IFK Lidingö season 17 / 2040 No major sales during preseason meant we would have a change to improve last seasons 4th place. Season started really nicely and we lead the league midseason with a 9 point margin. The Team was in a great form winning 8 league matches in a row. With 10 matches to go it all started to collapse. We had a couple of injuries and international call ups as well. And the good form was gone. we only scored 15 points from the last 10 matches. Tittle challengers Kalmar FF were in a great form takeing 37 points from the last 15 matches. luckily our advantege was large enough and we managed to win the 2nd tier with a 2 point margin. Finally up to the highest tier. Squad. Viktor Strandlund was promoted to first choice GK as Simon Didrik refuced to exted his contract. The highest offer we received for Didrik was around 3K€, so deceided to keep him untill end of contract. Josip Kalinic 28F found goalstreak with 15 goals (2 leagua goals last season). Daniel Rynell 29C was in fine form as well as both playmakers Peter Strandberg 33O and Jonathan Sletsjøe 30A. Johan Svensson 37A continued to develope nicely. Peter Strrandberg 33O has done really nice progress alltough noone believed in his potential early on. he came in with really low expectations, but has done brilliantly and already has 132 league caps. I'd call that a missjudgement from my staff... Youth intake was nice with a couple of high potential players. Christoffer Forsgren 40A is a high potential GK with professional personality. hi might well be the new no.1 in long term. Jonas Hermansson 40B and Dennis Klinspor 40C might also turn into first team players. Transfers This seasons success was just too much for a couple of players. Andreas Söderstöm 31A turned into a casual character and Rasmus Ohlander 35C turned to unambitious. I remember having similar problems when promoting from 3rd tier. Jonathan Sletsjøe 30A turned from resolute to fairly determined back then etc. Do you guys have similar problems with your players? What would you guys do with a " important" player/ team leader who turs casual. he has newer performed on a level maching his ability so would you just sell him (basically for nothing)? I just don't like the idea of one team leaders being casual. Finances were looking bad before we got promoted No changes in facilities, except youth facilities being downgraded after the season. Next season might be a struggle in the Premier division. Johan Svensson 37A is pretty much only premier division standard player we have. summary
  18. IFK Lidingö season 16 / 2039 During preseason we once again lost one of our key players in Gabriel Johanson 35A for 400K€. Season started brilliantly with us only dropping from the cup group by goal difference. Nice cup campaign was followed by nice early season with 5 wins and 2 draws. Afterwards we lost for and struggled to score goals. Team underperformed XG goals scored by 10.4 goals recording a team record low goals scored 39. luckily our star goalkeeper Simon Didrik 30C was in fine form and we only conceded 29 goals, 9 less compared to XG. we somehow managed to remain in promotion contention untill latter stages, but it just wasn't to be. We finished the league with a decent 4th position. Once again Jonathan Sletsjøe 30A was the best performer with 11 goals and 5 assists. Our former 1st choice striker Josip Kalinic 28F lost his form and only scored 2 league goals. Andreas Söderström 31A scored 7 goals and was our best Striker/winger. Johan Svensson 37A has made massive improvements and is now our best defender. Yout intake was dissapointing. highest potential prospects are casual and low self belief. HOYD got sacked. Facilities are the same. finances are on a decline. Promotion and some price money from there would be nice. Manager I feel like the save is stagnating in a way. We just keep loosing best prospects/players. next season we are losing our GK as we only kept him this season by promising promotion we couldn't get. Summary
  19. I've had one pair of brothers in my save. Luckily I still have them both. I haven't seen any other brothers coming through. They come from a town with around 48 000 inhabitants.
  20. IFK Lidingö Season 15 / 2038 / Swedish 1st Division Elite It's been a while since my last update. Now I finally finished the season 2038. During the preseason we sold our best outfield player Jesus Larsson 35B to AIK for a club record fee 650K€ + 45% clause. After the season I decided to sell the clause for another 200K€ as he wasn't playing nor making any progress. So, with a weakened squad i was pretty sceptic about our changes to repeat last seasons succesfull 3rd place. And the season started pretty badly with 3 losses from first 5 matches. Mid season we found some kind of a form and almost challenged for a playoff spot. Finally we finished with a pretty nice 5th place in league. In cup we once again finished last in the group and qualified to next years group stage. Club icon jonathan Sletsjøe 30A was in a fine form once again with 10 goals and 12 assists. Josip Kalinic 28F was our top goalscorer with 14 goals. Rasmus Ohlander 35C and Johan Svensson 37A have made nice progress and are player alongside Jesper Bergtoft 30E as CD. Our long standing CD Jonas Bergander 24C (326 league caps for us) has finaly been dropped and I deceided to release him after the season as he was running out of contract. Gabriel Johanssonn 35A is also taking huge steps in development. jonathan Sletsjøe 30A, Josip Kalinic 28F, Rasmus Ohlander 35C, Simon Didrik 30C Youth intake was ok. Aydin Sahin 38A is a promising looking winger, something I've been waiting for... Jörgen Nilsson 38B is a resolute character and has a decent potential. Francis Oyoh 38C has got some potential but is unambitious so he might make it or not. anyone else making it to first team would be a supprise. Transfers Finances are ok. No changes in facilities or youth setup. this is what happens when you play FM with only one nation loaded... Sweden has a World Cup top3 streak. Manager summary
  21. IFK Lidingö Season 14 / 2037 Last season we only survived in the 2nd tier trough relegation playoffs. this year I was hoping for a stable midtable position. Team just kept winning and winning and we finnished the league in 3rd position and qualified to promotion playoffs. we really denied the odds as we had preseason odds of 250 and we overachieved the XG tablle by 10points. First leg in promotion playoffs we draw 0-0 with IK Sirius. So we are heading to the away leg with a change to promote. In the away leg we were just outplayed by a better team. In the cup we one draw and 2 losses in the group stage and qualified to next yaers group stage. Jonathan Sletsjøe 30A was our best player once again with 14 goals and 10 assists. Younger Söderström brother Andreas was in a fine form as well with 11 goals and 7 assists. Simon Didrik 30C has developed nicely and is now one of the best GKs in the league. Jesús Larsson 35B has made remarkable progress ans is outgrowing this club. Youth intake. Johan Svensson 37A is looking promising. he was driven when he came in, but squad is just filled with low ambition and determination players so he aint that driven anymore. He needs some retraining as he is just too short for a CD role. Transfers No changes in facilities of finances we still have by far the cheapest team in the league
  22. IFK Lidingö season 13 / 2036 Season started nicely with a 9 match unbeaten run and at the end of july we had 4 wins 10 draws and oly 1 loss. Suddenly all started to collapse. We had a 11 match winless run and we found ourselves on relegation playoff spots. We managed to win 3 of our last 4 matches and avoided direct relegation. So we had a thrilling relegation playoff waiting for us. 1st leg was away against Sandvikens IF. They got the early lead but we dominated the rest of the match and got a 2-1 away win. I was hopefull ahead of home lag as we had dominated the away leg. Things weren't that straight forward. They once again got the early lead and tied the aggregate, but we were still staying up with away goals. on the second half they pulled another goal and we were going down. on 83rd minute sub winger Kenan Durakovic 31E scored the crucial goal to tie on aggregate. He only had scored one goal during the whole regular season. Extra time was waiting. We dominated the extra time and scored 3 goal and Kenan Durakovic 31E completed his hat trick on penalty spot. A really narrow survival. In Cup we advanced to the group stage. Andreas Söderström 31A was in fine form with 13 goals and 8 assists mainly from right wing. Simon Didrik 30C took responsibilities of first choise GK. transfers. No major sales this year. Youth intake was decent. Viktor Niklasson 36A is looking promising, he can play as striker, winger or CM/playmaker. Håkon Nilsen 36B is a promising right back. No changes in facilities. Finances are ok, I suppose. Slight increase in home attendances and sponsorship deals.
  23. IFK Lidingö season 12 / 2035 The season started pretty well with 10 point from first 5 matches. Then suddenly we couldn't win anything. We only took 6 point from the next 14 matches. We were almost 11 points behind XG table. Luckily we had another turnaround with 7 wins from the next 9 matches. We finished the season 12th with 37 points. Mid season we sold our star winger Jens Mölder 32A for a record fee 525K€. Jonathan Sletsjøe 30A was our top performer with 7 goals and 9 assists. josip Kalinic 28F was our top goal scorer with 9 goals. Thomas Meunier was also in fine form with 5 goals and 7 assists. Ayberk Karagöz 27B left on free transfer after the season as he ran out of contract. Youth intake was pretty good with Gabriel Johansson 35A, Jesús Larsson 35B and Rasmus Ohlander 35C as the most promising talents. We signed all but the two casual youngsters with low potential. transfers Finances are not looking too good. we only managed to break even with half a million transfer fee received. No upgrades in facilities or youth side. The manager
