  1. Mid season update IFK Lidingö Things are looking bad again. I really don't know whats going on. We just can't win matches on this level like two seasons ago alike. We are allready 10.9 points short of XG points. youth preview
  2. IFK Lidingö Season 11 / 2034 We were prepared to fight for immediate promotion after last seasons relegation. Squad was up to the task and secured the title 3 matches in advance. In cup we lost to premierleague side AIK in second round. In preseason we sold our best goal scorer Marcus Wikman 30B for a record fee €325K. Jonatan Sletsøe 30A returned to form with 20 goals and 9 assists and avg rating 7,55. Josep Kalinic 28F scored 14 goals. Thomas Meunier 27A was in fine form with 12 assists. Youth intake was nice. James Kyambadde 34A is a promising looking defensive midfielder. transfers Youth facilities were uppgraded Let's see if we can put up a better fight agains relegation than last time.
  3. IFK Lidingö Season 10 / 2033 After promotion and turning pro we ran into all sorts of trouble. Early in the season all other clubs wanted to buy most of our players with ridiculous cheap offers. So we ended up having most of our squad moaning about leaving. obviously we couldn't just sell our first 11. One reason for desire to leave must be our really low reputation. We were playing in second tier (top 32) but our reputation was only ranked number 72. The spirit was low and we couldn't win matches even when we would dominate them. we were doomed to relegation scrab. two rounds to go we were 6 points below relegation line. we managed to win the penultimate match and climb within reaching distace of staying up. in the last round we took 1-0 lead and all other results were going our way, untill disaster striked once again. We finished the league on last position with only 20 points from 30 matches. in XPTS table we were 14 points higher so we could have done a lot better. Board was far from pleased with Per-Olevs performance and they called up five emergency meetings during the season. I always told them they wouldn't find anyone better to replace club icon Per-Olev and they everytime agreed with that. Marcus Wikman 30B was the onle real higlight in squad. He scored 17 goals and was league top goal scorer. Jonatan Sletsjøe 30A was the dissapointment after becoming complacent with new contract and turning from resolute to fairly determined. He missed trainings 3 times due to some nightclub parties. Youth intake was decent at most. we haven't done any progress in youth setup for years. Samuel Waldholm 33A has potential but needs some mentoring. transfers financially we are fine. yout axpences skyrocketed after turning pro but for the first time we received some price money from league. facilities are the same and after elections the new board deceided to stop the affiliation we had with Norby IF. Per-Olev Forsberg
  4. IFK Lidingö season 9 / 2032 We started the season with a nice 11 match unbeaten run. We allways stayed in contention and finally we were tied 1st placed before the last mach against Sylvia who tied the 1st place with us. We went 2-0 up in the first half but they came back to tie the game 2-2. This means we won the first division south title on goal difference and got promoted. We scored the most and conceded the least goals in the league. After securing promotion the board decided to turn professional. In Swedish cup we defeated premier division side Kalmar FF to qualify to the group stage. Squad Jonathan Sletsjøe 30A (MC/AP) was our best player with 17 goals and 13 assists and avg rating 7,65 in 32 games. Hugo Lemne was getting old and declining so we needed some one to step in as CD. Jesper Bergtoft 30E was given a chance as he was the highest potential centreback we had. He also player pretty well. Mid season we sold one of our best players Emil Starfet 29A as he had declered intentions to leave. Sletsjøe 30A Bergtoft 30E Youth intake Youth intake was nice. no one to make immediate impact but some nice potential players. Jens Mölder 32A was given some playing time. Finances are looking good and facilities are still the same. transfers Per-Olev is now a club icon Our attendances declined slighly perhaps due to not having any local enemies in 1st division south.
  5. IFK Lidingö Season 8 / 2031 After finishing 4th and 3rd previous two seasons, I was hoping we could fight for pomotion playoffs this season. Allmost all hopes of promotion were thrown away after just eight matches and five losses. After that we made a great comeback just to finish one point short of promotion playoffs. In cup we lost on second round. After bad start of campaign I was planning to sell Philip Palmén 28A as he was not willing to renew his contract. I decided to keep him as he wasn't worth that much and he might eventually sign a new contract. Well.. now he's gone and we are lacking one quality winger. Frej Ahlin 27D had a fine season with 11 assist as DL. Jonatan Sletsjøe 30A took over central midfield duties and scored 11 goals and 5 assists. Ömerhan Küçük 28C scored 10 goals as striker. Thomas Meunier 27A and Emil Starfelt 29A also had fine seasons as wingers. I've been wery impressed with Frej Ahlin 27D's development so far, I never tough he could develop so much as semi-pro. Youth prewiev was promising some quality central defenders, but I guess HOYD was just joking once again. we are really lacking some CD as Hugo Lemne is 32y and declining and no one really challenging for his place. Actual intake was fine. Andreas Söderström immediately took his place in rotation. No major changes off the field. finances and facilities pretty much the same as before. transfers Per-Olev I was quite suppriced after the season. We were drawn into 1st Division South instead of North as usual.
  6. One thing I forgot to mention in last season update. We got a new senior affiliate. I was looking forward to get some extra income. Not the income I was looking for. Maybe I should just cancel the affiliate but atleast we get a good yearly frendly.
  7. IFK Lidingö season 7 / 2030 Well, what can I say, kinda mixed feelings about the season. We didn't play as well as last season and we only got 49 points compared to last seasons 57 points. Somehow we still found ourselves fighting for promotion and finished the season on 3rd place. Teams were extreme close to each other with only 10 points between 3rd and 14th place. In Swedish Cup we lost on first round. Squad Frej Ahlin 27D came back from loan spells and was just brilliant on LD position with 8 assists. Calle Sjöberg was our top goalscorer with 8 goals and 9 assists. Brenner Toris who scored 20 goals two years ago lost his streak totally. He scored 3 goals early in the season and then only one penalty goal in the last 23 league games. Omerhan Kücük 28C was retrained as striker to fill in out of form Brenner Toris and Pourshahidi who had a long term injury. I'm finally considering droping Eliah Kronholm to a backup GK. He just concedes too many easy goals. We have two promising GKs Landström 28B and Simon Didrik 30C. Youth intake was pretty nice. Jonatan Sletsjøe 30A and Marcus Wikman 30B allready took their places in rotation. transfers Finances are pretty similar to last year and no progres in facilities either.
  8. IFK Lidingö Season 6 / 2029 We had a fine season on the field. We finished the season 4th in 1st Division North. Record high and points so far for us. In Swedish cup we lost to Premier division side Gevle IF second year in a row. We lost in 2nd round both years. We lost our star player Milorad Mijailović 25A after the season as he was unwilling to extend his contract. Jovan Anderberg 28G and Ayberk Karagöz 27B stepped in as new fullbacks. Thomas Meunier 27A had a fine season with 7 goals and 14 assists. Youth Intake was really nice, altough we could do with some quality defenders as well. Emil Starfelt 29A is a nice looking winger. Christoffer Söderström 29B might develop into a quality DM. transfers I think we have found the equilibrium on junior coaching expenses. We are using 547K€ of our yearly 950K€ revenue on youth setup. I guess we can't afford any higher expenses. No changes in facilities this year.
  9. IFK Lidingö Season 5 / 2028 We had a fine season. We were fighting for promotion untill the last five games or so. We had 1/5/1 record from last 7 matches and that ruined our promotion changes. We eventually finished 7th only 5 point from champions. Calle Sjöberg was a crusial player to us with 9 goals and 12 assists. Brenner Tois scored 22 goals. Thomas Meunier 27A also had a brilliant season 7 goals and 10 assists. Calle Sjöberg. Sorry for those pics, I somehow cropped names out of them... Mijailovic 25A I was looking forward to see the actual youth intake after a great looking prewiev. And the Intake didn't dissapoint me. Constant improvements in youth department are finally paying some dividents. This is the first time we get more than one player who is capable of helping the first team. Philip Palmén 28A is looking great. I'm also hoping Landstöm 28B could quickly become our first choice GK. finances are looking good. We had our junior coaching increased once again. youth facilities were downgraded, that's a bit unpleasant. transfers My biggest concern in this save is loosing all my best youth prospects. Last year we lost Omar Olsson 24B, who was a key player. Now our two best layers Mijailovic 25A and Åkermark 26A are both unwilling to extend contract with us due to our squad is not good enough. They both moan squad should be improved. Luckily they both still have 12 months left. I would understand it if any team woud be interensted in signing them but no. Maybe they just want to play in a lower league with better player like Olsson 24B did. I Can't remember having such big problems in my youth run in FM22.
  10. A little update on key player I lost after last season. We were not good enough for him to extend. He was without a club for almost 3 months after leaving us and now he has signed to a team 1 DIVISION BELOW us. He must be very ambitious.
  11. IFK Lidingö Season 4 / 2027 We had a great start for the season getting 17 points from the first 8 matches. We just cuoldn't keep that up and we finished 10th once again. Hygo Lemne, Calle Sjöberg and Teo Brenner Thoris all scored 10 goals. We lost our star player Omar Olsson after the season as he was too ambitious (to be unambitious). We tried to renew his contract for like 18 months but he was always unwilling to renew as we couldn't match his ambitious or something. Milorad Mijailovic 25A took huge steps in development during the season. We had some high potential talents in youth intake. We didn't get anyone to help us immediately. We are lacking fullbacks now as Omar Olsson has left. Ayberk Karagöz might get a lot of chances in the first team. We could do with someoen capable of playing as a goalkeeper. We still have our original goalkeeper and he ain't amazing to be honest. We finally solved our financial problems and were able to improve our junior coaching. Youth recruitment was also improved but that was after the season so it won't be shown here.
  12. Per-Ölev finished third season with IFK Lidingö. IFK Lidingö somehow survived another season in Swedish First division north. We were struggling for most of the season and only strong end of campaign saved us from relegation (or relagation playoffs). For the first time we also entered the swedish cup. we were beaten in the second round. In the last game we rotated a bit. Well...it didn't work out againts champions. Söderstöm was our top scorer with 15 goals. Omar Olsson was retrained as leftback. Youth intake was decent once again. Johan Åkermark 26A is a useful BBM. Lukas Stannervik 26B is a promising CB. Finances were on negative for most of season and the board cutted all excess transfer funds and wage budget. after the youth intake we ended up being over budget. since the finances were on the limit we couldn't uppgrade anything else. Training facilities were the main reason for the financial struggle.
  13. Per-Olev's IFK Lidingö struggled in early parts of the season after promotion to First Division North. I tought the team played pretty well but we somehow couldn't get wins. We only won 3 of our first 14 matches and looked like we would be fighting agains relegation. Luckily the end of the season was brilliant and we won 8 of our last 11 matches. We finished on 9th position clearly above relegation spots. Our striker Söderstöm scored 11 goals and right winger Pourshahidi scored 14 goals. Brenner Toris scored 10 goals from left wing. Calle Sjöberg had a nice season once again and he is now a real crowd favourite. We had a decent youth intake. Milorad Mijailovoc 25A is looking promising. We have upgraded our youth recruitment and junior coaching. After the season weird things started to happen. First the training facilities were downgraded due to technological advances etc. I couldn't see any difference in the facilities page. Well then I asked to upgrade them, of cource we had no money for anything like that. A couple of weeks later the board decided to upgrade them and spend around 2M€ of our 1,7M€ balance to it. I guess we'll be fine with negative balance for a while. Here are the finances right after the season when we still had some money.
  14. Per-Olev has finnished the first season with IFK Lidingö. Team played a brilliant season winning the division by a margin. Calle Sjöberg was one of our key players, scoring 15 goals in 26 league games from CM posision (mostly AP/at). Youth intake is looking promising. Omar Olsson 24B is already challencing for BBM role. He has unambitious personality and I dont have any good mentor for him, so lets see... Jacob Olsson 24A is a resolute character with high potential. We also managed to improve our youth recruitment. We now have average youth recruitment. Per-Olev has studied on some coaching cources. Per-Olev is looking forward the challenge in First division north.
  15. I started a save in Sweden. Per-Olev Forsberg takes charge in IFK Lidingö. We have a decent squad. GKs aren't that great but otherwise we should be fine on this level. Finances are looking good and facilities are decent as well. I hope this one goes better than my first try with Jonsered IF. 12 outfield players (7 of them rubbish) just wasn't enough, and I ended up getting sacked.
