  1. MATERA Season 2 Update 2045-2025 Serie C - Group C Again the second part of the season was worse than the first part, but this time we managed to never risk relegation, finishing closer to the playoff zone than to the playout one The youth intake this year was meh, our 2 best newgens of the first year are improving decently with our winger Danzi (who finished top assists for the team) receiving some interest from Serie B teams, he just turned pro so I hope I can renew him as soon as possible. Finances aren't growing so it's very hard to improve facilities, as of now I'm trying to improve the skills of the staff, me included, with better members and with coaching courses. But, thanks to Al-Ittihad and Napoli, we received 740k as solidarity bonus for the sale of Di Lorenzo for 74m, this will surely help to not go negative balance in this 3rd season!! For context, the Napoli IRL captain was a key member of Matera in 2015/2016 when the team lost 2 games away from promotion to Serie B and ended up going bankrupt and having to restart from 5th tier Third season the goal is to confirm this mid-table finish with no stress, and let the youngsters grow more
  2. MATERA Season 2 Mid-Season Update December 2025 Serie C - Group C Things are going way better than expected, if we don't experience another morale disasterclass in the locker room we should stay easily in the current division. After 19 games out of 38, we have 32 points, 1 less than we had last season at the END, and our pacey winger Danzi is currently our top assist, with 5. Also the teams that get promoted from the unplayable Serie D, like Brindisi and Latina this year, are pretty weak so it makes it easier for us to just survive for these first seasons. Off the pitch our first Youth Facilities improvement is almost completed and the board is paying for my licenses, currently studying for the National A one. Also got our Youth Intake preview and we might get a decent keeper by the looks of it, with another "golden generation" flagged preview . Time to go to work in the real world now
  3. MATERA Season 1 2024-2025 Serie C - Group C I struggled so much in this first season. We started pretty well, it seemed very possible, until February, to avoid relegation without having to go over the stress of Play-Outs . Then we just started losing, I tried some tactical changes but nothing was working and the morale just became too low. Luckily we managed to win the Playout match against Olbia with a 4-1 aggregate and so we survived. Here the proof of no transfers but with such a awful first year I don't think there are doubts No Transfers On the good side, the Board is allowing me to get better licenses, currently studying for the National B Licence, and they accepted to improve our Youth's facilities during the 2025/2026 season. Now to the interesting part, the first round of newgens was very surprising, with 5/6 players that look promising for the level, anyway nothing that special I guess. I'll just show the 3 guys that seems better to me: Ivan Tutone/CM : Probably the best one/more ready, he did score in the decisive 2nd leg playout already Filippo Danzi/AML : Pacey winger with good dribbling and finishing for the age and level Davide Dell'Anna/LB : Left back with decent physical attributes but very bad technically TL;DR: Horrible first season on the pitch, 1 leg away from relegation / small progress off the pitch with coach licenses and little improvements to Club's facilities / good and unexpected youth intake. Probably a season just as hard awaits us now, but there's room for improvements everywhere!
  4. The challenge begins! Finally the city of Matera won't be famous only for their UNESCO site "Sassi", the oldest urban settlement in Europe, but also for football The Club isn't exactly ready for this (idk how to post an image yet, but here's a link I guess): Club Details And this is me, ready to join the challenge and bring them to glory! 5. Thank you @Neo_Geo To get promoted luckily they just need to win their Serie D - Group H which is pretty open, only 3 teams, Andria, Gelbison and Paganese have better reputation (not that much higher), so they don't have to face the giants like Reggio (they will end up in the same 3rd tier group, but in 4th tier they belong to group I and not H) Out of 21 sims, the 3 strongest teams of the group i named before went up 18 times (the 3 odd ones were Barletta twice and Casarano 1 time) But just as I was typing this reply to you... we did it!!! nobody beats LDB 22 times in a row, I guess
  6. New user here, hello everyone from Italy/Albania! Found out about this challenge yesterday evening while I was looking for something "new" to enjoy FM24 (which i havent played much because I didn't have a PC good enough to enjoy the game last year). After spending a bit of time (I won't disclose the numbers!!!) understanding how to properly set the save up, I started simulating today until Matera gets promoted in Italy's 3rd division. It's my big local team so immediately I had the idea to try and use them and have a team full of players of my region, maybe even my super small town and lead them to glory 14th try still no luck tho, even if the team promoted from their unplayable division is changing quite often, there isn't a massive team with big reputation that just gets promoted almost everytime. While I sim hopelessly, I'd appreciate any basic little tip that you guys would give to someone who has never done a save like this
