Imagine my shock when I placed my vote only to see I've tied the standings I don't normally hypothesize because I think it's a bit nonsense... but this is the biggest game of my career so IT'S REAL TO ME DAMMIT I think on paper I have an overall better team, but I think Gunman might beat me for two simple reasons - Mbappé is better than anyone else on the pitch, and he's got the whole left flank to work with. Backed up by Dimarco, I think it could get ugly. However I do think that overall my defence is ****ing solid and RUBEN DIAS would pocket him when he gets round Meunier But seriously yeah, good game I think, probably give the slight edge to Gunman because although I think I have less weaknesses, I have the biggest weakness (that flank/Meunier v Mbappe). Think that when we have possession we are superior though, if we make it count on the ball then we could definitely win. The counters would give me nightmares though

I said France v England when I saw the L16 setup and I still think that, but I hope Netherlands win it all. I wouldn't mind England for the City lads but mostly I don't really care. I think France would be a boring af winner so they're probably who I least want to win.

Fwiw, Harry didn't vote in the end. And also, not that it benefits my team or owt, but Golden Boy has a worse record in this tournament than me so I think that should hold some weight

This is my best ever draft performance and I've noticed certain folk vote against me no matter the match up (even me v Kawee ) so I'm both chuffed and surprised to get this far. I was under zero illusions that I was unlikely to win it all so to make the final 8 is an outstanding result for me, regardless of what goes on.

We definitely need a manager who is willing to attack when the time calls for it. Clarke's done a great job of making us tough to beat and snatching wins but we can't play like that forever, especially against inferior teams or when we need to win. I dunno who we get if Clarke goes. I'd like Moyes.

Nah, not really. This is Scotland. We knew coming to the tournament we wouldn't be making the KOs. What hurts is how ***** we have been, but it was naïve to expect anything else. We had, what, 3 shots on target in the whole tournament? Something like that? I'm genuinely just glad we are at tournaments like this. I've seen us at two Euros now, that's wild.

Yeah I said to the Mrs it's the fencing position, usually a sign of serious head trauma. The replay did not seem to show any head contact but someone in here said elbow on the way out. Either way it seems serious, fingers crossed he is okay. The players having to drag the medical team/stretcher over is a genuine embarrassment.

This is so wrong. We have quite a few technically gifted players and we've had plenty of them over the years you speak of. The issue is that the SFA isn't fit for purpose, our domestic league is a shambles and we lack the all-round infrastructure to actually do anything half decent. You can't be serious if you look at people like Gilmour, McGregor, Tierney, Robertson, McGinn etc and say Scotland have no technically gifted players. We've not had any top, top tier, world class talents, sure, but not everyone does it's not surprising that we haven't produced our own Messi or Ronaldo or even Modric. But we produce some very good players, just not enough.

Saw the first half while working, lost my **** at the goal and by the time I got to look again it was 1-1 I'll miss the 2nd half but we were dire so probably not missing much of anything, really.
